ReadabilityExhibit E: Where we now retire the Canard that the left thinks Palin can't win
I’m sorry if the two biggest major American newspapers organs to promote liberalism and the Democratic party are recruiting people all over the world for the express purpose and hope of finding dirt on Sarah Palin, we have to assume that:
1. The left fears Sarah Palin in the way that Satan fears Christ.
2. Their “Paul Revere” attacks a failure.
3. They consider the Bus Tour and the upcoming movie a game changer that has to be countered at all costs.
4. They have decided that it is worth the risk of driving GOP opponents of Palin into her camp on the assumption they won’t vote for Obama anyway, like so:
The same press that wouldn’t vet Barack Obama, and barely questions 2400-page policies is looking for the public to find dirt on a private citizen who has been out of office for two years? She is so in their heads, and their hate is so naked, that the WaPo and NYTimes don’t realize how destructive this move is going to be to their own selves. When even Palin non-fans and fence-sitters (like me) are offended by this — you’re talking EPIC fail!
5. Along the same lines as above, the mainstream media is so anxious, so obsessed with Sarah Palin’s destruction that they are willing to use a tactic that even the most Pollyannaish media supporter can not deny the bias inherent in it. In fact a tactic so destructive that they desperately tried to deny it…
“The New York Times has not asked for readers to help with an investigation,” NYT spokeswoman Danielle Rhoades Ha said in an e-mail to The Daily Caller, pointing TheDC to a specific news story about the Palin e-mails’ release.
…even though the request appeared in their own blog
“We’re asking readers to help us identify interesting and newsworthy e-mails, people and events that we may want to highlight. Interested users can fill out a simple form to describe the nature of the e-mail, and provide a name and e-mail address so we’ll know who should get the credit. Join us here on Friday afternoon and into the weekend to participate.”
In one respect this reminds me of the early days of the Weiner stuff. He was convinced that the MSM would cover for him and attack Breitbart but what he didn’t understand was that any Twitter user could understand what his actions meant and it was a simple matter to explain it to others.
In the same respect any person who has ever sent e-mails or used a computer understands what is going on here and why and for those few who do not regularly use e-mail it is easily explained..
The amount of sympathy this is going to generate for Palin among the not involved is considerable and will not be easily countered. Even the attempt to spin something complicated that they might find will still pale before the idea that the media has decided that recruit hundreds of people worldwide to go through someone’s e-mail with the express purpose of destroying them.
This is the death knell for the anti-Palin movement’s credibility, and a disaster for every single GOP opponent to her who will be forced to denounce it.
Amazing, simply amazing!
Update: Speaking of Amazing, Morning Joe mentions the release of the e-mails (Mika treats it as a non-story) and totally ignores the NYT & Washington post “recruitment” of people to go through them. “Journolist” lives!
Update: You know what happens when you schedule a post for 5 a.m. that you write before midnight, your co-blogger /friend has the same thought.
The Huffington Post expects to start receiving some of these emails this afternoon. We need your help going through this mass of documents to find notable passages and references to pass on to our reporters. This afternoon, we’ll post the documents online and provide a place for you to leave notes on the emails you see.
In fairness I don’t expect better than the Huff-Po but then again, they are not just Huff-Po they are AOL Now. Lovely! How much money did they spend to compromise their brand?

We have to stand with Palin. Besides it being the right thing to do – if they can do it to her, they can do it to anybody.
This is so sickening. I too am going to vote for her due to this. I can not for the life of me understand how evil the MSM is over one woman and her family. This has gone on far too long and Obama must be so scared of her. He is behind this as well and do not for one second think he is not.

I Agree with Zilla. Gov. Palin should put these guys on her Christmas Card list for sure!
Even the dreaded “W” has not been subjected to this much derangement while a private citizen.
Zilla I couldn’t have said it better myself. I am with you 100%
)
This is red meat for their base though. The Palin haters in my social sphere are salivating at “finally” getting the goods on her. They just assume everyone hates Palin too. They’re even more insular than the guy back in 1972 who told the NYT he couldn’t understand how Nixon won the presidency because he didn’t know anyone who voted for him.
You forgot to mention that the HuffPo also emailed everyone on its email list to recruit people to go through Gov. Palin’s emails. That bit of nuttery was detailed in a post by a red-haired co-blogger.
ah but the Huffpo doesn’t pretend that it is an “unbiased” source. It is supposed to be the Drudge of the left
Yep, count me in among the ‘non-fans’ who will stand with Sarah Palin and totally vote for her if she runs and wins the GOP nomination. I’ll do it happily and watch lefty heads explode as the MSM continues to soil itself. Hell, I’ll vote for her in 3rd party too if the GOP ticket features a RINO dhimmi like Romney! And I am not alone on this among ‘non-fans’ either. The more the left and elitist right goes to grotesque extremes to smear her, the more people like me who aren’t ordinarily “Palinites” will rise up and support her.
