By definition that is said to a single person in the US each day but it sounds odd when that person is you. It’s like winning a lottery without a prize.
My plan today was to hit the 8 a.m. mass at St. Anthony di Padua, then drive up to the Rick Santorum Clam bake in Rumney, NH. It’s about a 2 1/2 hour drive so I figured I’d get there with maybe 30 minutes to spare, but at about 6:40 my wife called saying there is a car issue and can I pick her up and take her to work and then call AAA. Found the car but she wasn’t there, (turns out her supervisor saw her and picked her up). So I called from the fire station and despite being reference #1 1hr & 20 min the tow truck came to drop DaWife’s car at T & R Custom Automotive for Todd and Raynee to check out in the morning.
Plan B is the 10:30 mass getting out at 11:30 or so and hitting the 2nd Pawlenty event in s saying steam from her car engine was blowing in her face during the drive to work to throw on some clothes and (It seems the anti-freeze is leaking into the engine block but I’ll let T & R check that out tomorrow). She stopped the car right next to the fire station on Summer Street in Center Harbor NH., however that plan is out because by the time I got out of mass and drove the 2 1/2 hours to the event I would not only be late but unable to get back to give DaWife a ride home.
So it looks like I’ll have to go with plan C the Assumption Church Greek festival in Manchester. it has the disadvantage of being closer the end of the day meaning the post will be later or scheduled for tomorrow, but because it is Manchester I will be able to pick up the wife (there is even an outside chance she will consent to go with me) and still make it there before the Candidate gets there. (and being a festival there is always the chance that a 2nd candidate might show up as well.
Meanwhile to hold you over here some photos from yesterday’s event at the Border Grille and Bar in Leominster Saturday the 20th.
The fellow is the great Hat is Tuck Sissy Willis’ Husband. Next to him is the Right Wing Gamer.
Sissy Willis sat across from Tuck but hid from the camera. At least one other attendee didn’t want their picture included online. Brian Henchey was not among them.
We held court for 3 hours talking about the blog news of the day and having a great discussion over drinks and lunch
Author Terry Tibbetts author of A Spartan Game: The Life and Loss of Don Holleder and was kind enough to pose for me with his book available at Amazon.com
A great time was had by all and we intend to do this again at the 1st anniversary of the show, you are most welcome to join us.
Update: Sissy Willis also has a post on our “salon” and a great shot of me in the studio.

Sad I had to leave early, but I had a great time over there. Tuck was a very interesting person to talk to. He and Sissy are the best of Chelsea, bar none.
