I met Jane Jameson at my first CPAC in 2010. I remember her coming in during the morning after my all nighter and asking her if she would be part of my field guide to bloggers. She declined as she explained that it would be a problem because if it was known that she was a conservative in San Francisco it would adversely affect her business.
I found it very ironic that she was forced into a closet by the ever so tolerant people of San Francisco.
I have a shot or two of her in one of my fedoras buried in my backups but the strongest image of her is in my head as a cute fun lady who looked great in a fedora.
I wish I had the pleasure of knowing her as well as Yid and Stacy.
It is odd to think of a person I know with an online chronicle deceased. I wonder if she finds it odd that there are people all over the country that will miss her?
As FaceBook friends we raided a few blogs tag team style. She was so much fun. Her talent for cutting whit surely rivaled the ranks of Malkin, Coulter, and the like. I will miss seeing her on my wall.
