Another GOP debate to blog...

I have no idea how this will go but we will soon find out:

My Take, Cain, Santorum and Bachmann helped themselves, Rick Perry was bloodied, Romney stayed steady but not great, Huntsman hurt himself, Paul was Paul, Gingrich was solid.

A lot more substance than other debates, likely due to the tea party business.

9:49 p.m. Silly question about adding in, Gingrich hits on Tzars.

9:44 p.m. Huntsman’s answer to the women translated: “Let them die, not our problem.”, Perry agrees.

9:42 p.m. Santorum hits Paul HARD on 911. Paul is Paul, I’ll say this for him, he’s consistent.

9:39 p.m. Paul: “Difference between military and defense spending.”

9:38 p.m. Cain on energy independence not bad, Gingrich on defense spending.

9:37 p.m. Calls in-state tuition a states rights issue, a bad hit on him.

9:35 p.m. Romney almost gets it on the Latinos question.

9:33 p.m. Huntsman suggests Perry is treasonous for saying we can’t secure the border. Plays the License isn’t an ID card.

9:31 p.m. Bachmann don’t give taxpayer subsidies for breaking the law.

9:30 p.m. Perry defends in-state tuition Santorum hits.

9:28 p.m. Perry says boots on the ground and agents rather than a fence.

9:27 p.m. Illegal immigration question Santorum 1st.

9:22 p.m. That last round was bad for Romney and Perry and good for Bachmann, Paul and Santorum. Stacy Live-blogging too.

9:20 p.m. Bachmann makes an important point about wavers being able to be undone.

9:18 p.m. Ron Paul points out how communities used to take care of their own, important cultural point.

9:16 p.m. Perry says Romney care is the wrong move but the state has the right to do it if it wants.

9:15 p.m. Romney not defending Romney-care attacking Obama-care

9:06 p.m. Paul on executive orders, should never be used to legislate

9:02 p.m. Huntsman says 81624 and talks debt

9:01 p.m. Love the question: “Out of every dollar I make, how much should I be able to keep?” Who will answer it?

9:00 p.m. Romney doesn’t hit the fed as hard, who is going to run the currency Congress? They didn’t let Paul touch the fed question, amazing!

8:58 p.m. Perry doesn’t back down from the “Treason” business, if the fed is used for political purposes.

8:40 p.m. Bachmann stress not raising the debt ceiling still a strong point

8:39 p.m. 12 of zero jobs is still zero jobs says Perry

8:37 p.m. Wolf seems to be rephrasing the questions when asked.
