ReadabilityNazis Commies and Democrats in the gutter
For the last week I’ve been delighted to see democrat after democrat decide to throw their lot in with the Occupy Everywhere protesters under the assumption that it would end up biting them come election time.
My assumption is based on a 1936 book The Best Loved Poems of the American People and the following entry on page 480 called: Judged by the company one keeps:
One night in late October,
when I was far from sober,
Returning with my load, with manly pride;
My feet began to stutter,
So I lay down in the gutter,
And a pig came up an’ lay down by my side;
A lady passing by was heard to say:
‘You can tell a man who “boozes“
by the company he chooses’
And the pig got up and slowly walked away.
And lo and behold, via Gateway Pundit here comes the lady.
Nazi Party & Communist Party Both Throw Their Support Behind Occupy Wall Street Movement
…and the Lady comes complete with screen shots and tweets in case the pages suddenly come down.
Unlike the Pig in the story I don’t think the Democrats will be able to “get up slowly and walk away.” That’s because the Pig unlike the democrats, was smart enough not to make public statements of support, march with, appear in photos with or make proclamations of solidarity for the man in the gutter.
Although the MSM will likely decide that this isn’t newsworthy the new media will not let the Donkey get away with it as the pig did. I have a funny feeling that an elephant or two, maybe one say running for re-election for the US senate in Massachusetts might be asking very loudly why Democratic Candidates are supporting a movement endorsed by two ideologies that together have a body count of innocents so large that radical Islamists are pacifists by comparison?
And that not even touching on the antisemitism, calls for violence, spitting on US service members in uniform, hosting protests for Al-Qaeda supporters etc etc etc.
I think they might also ask if they believe donations to them should be tax-deductible too.
I’d send Admiral Akbar to warn them, but I’d just as soon not.
