Lets see Democrat operatives deciding they don’t like what a Black political activist is doing.

So they attempt to intimidate and threaten the activist’s family in order to make him stop

Now I’m not as old as some people but I seem to remember that Democrats attempting to intimidate and threaten blacks was once a very common thing in this country. And there is precedent for bombings of Blacks who refuse to kowtow to demands of such Democrats and lo and behold the people behind this are apparently associated with guess who , the Speedway Bomber!

Ace is calling for a day of silence the Camp of the Saints is on board as is the Daily Gator

I disagree, I think it would be much more interesting to contact the NAACP and the congressional black caucus and ask what their reaction is to such attempts to intimidate a Southern Black Activist and his family in order to shut him up.

And if they don’t want to answer I think it would be interesting check with every outlet of the MSM and see if they can explain why?

Now it could be that our enlightened media and the congressional Black Caucus has decided that if a Black Activist is associated with the GOP it is acceptable to have people associated with a known bomber attempt to intimidate him but I’d like to think that is not the case.

Let’s find out just how far these folks are willing to back these guys up.

And lets not forget Ali used to work for Scott Brown, I think a sitting US Senator might be interested in this story, and if he condemns it, will democrats?

Update: American Power also comments.

Update: Instalanche, and it’s a great question, where is the NAACP? Where is the Wall to wall coverage in the MSM? Where is the congressional Black Caucus? Where is President Obama saying that if he had a son he would look like Ali? When will Eric Holder begin his investigation or is he waiting till Kimberlin & associates ask Ali & his family to show an ID to vote?

BTW, I’ve met Ali’s mother, she is a charming and intelligent woman. I suspect any attempt to intimidate her is going to fail spectacularly.

In my earlier post I talked about the tactics that we should expect to see from democrats as things get worse and worse electorally. I questioned if they were planning to throw the radical left under the bus in an attempt.

Part of the answer was given by this report:

The U.S. Justice Department says it will monitor elections in Wisconsin and three other states this week to ensure compliance with the Voting Rights Act. The law prohibits discrimination in the election process.

The federal agency said Monday it will send federal observers to the city of Milwaukee, which is required to provide assistance in Spanish.

The officials will monitor polling places during Tuesday’s recall elections, and Justice Department attorneys will maintain contact with local election officials.

Now in theory this is simply routine to make sure certain rules are followed but how this is played means something much more.

Consider: you already have stories of the Democrat party holding money back, you have the president staying away from the state (of course one might consider that a blessing for Barrett) and you have a major democrat pundit calling the recall “a mistake”.

None of these are likely to endear the party to the activists that they will need to make sure Wisconsin doesn’t flip or national contributors demoralized by the Wisconsin results.

How does one solve this problem? By hyping the Justice department’s “monitoring” of the Wisconsin elections.

Remember we still have people on the left convinced that 2000 & 2004 were “stolen” from them, we have the Kimberlin crowed convinced that the only reason Anthony Weiner is no longer a congressman is due to a Breitbart conspiracy and in Madison I would be very shocked if the protestors insulated from those who might disagree with them, are not still convinced that all they need is to get out all those people they just know are with them to obtain victory.

You already have a new voter law in Wisconsin complete with an ID requirement which the left has declared a violation of human rights (unless of course attending the Democrat convention in Massachusetts or buying groceries with a credit card) with the Justice department in place any report of irregularities no matter how small can be sold to true believers as proof that the only reason Scott Walker won his recall was by cheating!

If that concept can be successfully advanced suddenly anger at Democrats is transformed to anger at dishonest republicans and can be exploited by fundraising letters to the faithful asking for help to avenge this heinous wrong.

You might well ask: “DaTechGuy, do you seriously believe these people can be convinced of this nonsense?” My answer is: Yes they can. Remember liberalism is a religion and without the intellectual power of a C. S. Lewis an Augustine, a Thomas Merton or an Aquinas to support it, so instead it must rely on the blind faith in both its own righteousness and the evil of its foes.

Much easier to believe this than face the prospect that the people just don’t agree with them.

over in France:

Three young Jewish students were attacked by a gang of twelve Muslims in Lyons, France, yesterday on Shabbat. These Muslims were clearly inspired by the devout Muslim and mass murderer Muhammad Merah (as were these Muslims), who gunned down Jewish toddlers and parents in cold blood at a Jewish day school in Toulouse

…and actual bravery in Saudi Arabia

Have you seen this video, from MEMRI.org, of a Saudi woman standing up to the “religious police” in a mall? A treat.

They order her to leave. She says, “I’m not getting out. What are you gonna do about it? I’m not getting out. I’m standing right here. I’m standing right here. For your information, I’m filming it all. Here, smile for the camera.”

The cheek. Unbelievable. She also says, “For your information, the video is on its way to Twitter and Facebook as we speak.” The social media can be overrated. They can be underrated too.

She says, “You are not the boss of me, and you can’t tell me not to wear nail polish. Lipstick on my mouth?! Come look at my mouth. Shame on you! And he pretends to be God-fearing . . .”

And the irony: Kimberlin’s allies often attack their foes as “Islamophobic”.

It’s a Trap!

Admiral Akbar: Return of the Jedi & Sheldon Cooper The Big Bang Theory

With a houseguest, my son’s graduation and Robert Stacy McCain I have been behind in my posts on Brett Kimberlin and friends.

lucky for us Stacy McCain doesn’t currently have a home and in between sightings all over he hasn’t missed a beat:

The Profoundly Dishonest Brett Kimberlin

While researching further background material, I happened upon a November 2011 post at DFQ2 in which Seth Allen discussed Brett Kimberlin’s ties to the left-wing news site Raw Story. Allen was particularly interested in Larisa Alexandrovna, a former Raw Story reporter who is an indefatiguable defender — or perhaps we should say, idolator — of Kimberlin.

It’s amazing what you can find when you go into the archives of Democrat sites and it’s even more amazing how they duck when word gets out:

Raw Story Disavows Ties to Kimberlin

And of course he hasn’t confined himself to the star of the show

The ”TwitterGate” story was a brief blip in the blogospheric consciousness: An ugly online spat between Left and Right that seemed rather silly to those who did not grasp two key facts:

Rauhauser was a paid consultant with the Progressive PST firm, providing “social media” services to Democrat candidates; and
Rauhauser has described himself as a “hacker.”

Fact 2 could be dismissed as mere boasting — Rauhauser may have exaggerated his hacking skills — yet it is nonetheless relevant in light of Fact 1: Why would candidates for public office hire someone who bragged of his ability to engage in deceptive and potentially criminal activity? What services did Rauhauser’s clients expect him to deliver?

The full post goes deep, VERY deep, and as Ladd Ehlinger comments:

Exactly so. If you want clues as to what a liberal thug is up to, look to what he’s accused others of doing.

The accusations are long, varied, and frightening: criminal conspiracies! Libel! Slander! Smears! Stalking! Lies! Distortions! Racism! Fascism! Totalitarianism! Voter fraud! Denial of the Vote! Violence! Denial of free speech!

And anyone who isn’t a team-playing progressive thug is outright evil, and must be stopped no matter what the cost. And if you think of your opposition as pure evil, then there’s no tactic that’s out of bounds.

Because as Patterico reminds us we are the real villains if only the rest of the world was smart enough to see it:

Since Weinergate, we have learned that key Kimberlin associates and supporters Neal Rauhauser and OccupyRebellion have been absolutely obsessed with Weinergate since it happened — as has Ron Brynaert.

Shortly after Weiner sent out the Weinertweet, Rauhauser wrote an email to the FBI blaming Stack for having “hacked” Weiner. Three days after my swatting, in a post titled “Patterico’s Penalization,” Rauhauser tried to implicate me and a man named Seth Allen in the alleged plot to bring down Weiner. (Rauhauser also asked for pictures of my wife and suggested that private detectives should stake out Seth Allen’s residence.)

The inclusion of Seth Allen in the post was a red flag to people who had written about Kimberlin, since Seth Allen was a very low-traffic blogger whose principal claim to fame was that he had fought a one-man war to draw attention to Kimberlin’s past, as well as Kimberlin’s partnership with blogger and radio personality Brad Friedman.

Ever since then, Rauhauser and anonymous Kimberlin supporter OccupyRebellion, along with other anonymous Kimberlin supporters, have pushed a version of “Weiner Trutherism” that argued Weiner didn’t actually send out the Weinertweet. The people they have blamed have included Mike Stack and various enemies of Kimberlin, including myself.

The bottom line is this: Rauhauser and OccupyRebellion were early and vigorous advocates of Weiner Trutherism, and blamed two of the SWATting victims, me and Mike Stack, for being behind a plot against Anthony Weiner. Since then, Rauhauser’s close association with Brett Kimberlin has become quite clear — and a long-running campaign of cyberstalking and harassment of Kimberlin critics by Rauhauser, Kimberlin, Brynaert, and OccupyRebellion has been quite evident.

Given my involvement in the Weiner story I’m shocked I haven’t had any issue with them myself, then again perhaps they don’t like going after Sicilians.

As for all these weird moves I had a conversation with Ladd Ehlinger on the subject, I talked about how odd it was that the left was sticking with these people, he commented that we would see this and more as they got more and more desperate and on cue in Wisconsin we have this:

I obscured names and addresses, but be assured, this was a list of real names and addresses of people who live near me, with the information about whether they voted in the last 2 elections. This is an effort to shame and pressure people about voting, and it is truly despicable. Your vote is private, you have a right not to vote, and anyone who tries to shame and an harass you about it is violating your privacy, and the assumption that I will become active in shaming and pressuring my neighbors is repugnant.

and this:

The surveillance effect! It’s important for people to know when political organizations, like the Greater Wisconsin Political Fund, are deliberately using a psychological manipulation that has been tested and studied. Please, get out the word that mailers like this are trying to mobilize…

this:

ADDED: In the Comments, The Drill SGT points to this article, from a couple days ago, in The Chronicle of Higher Education: “Hey, Here’s Who Your Neighbors Gave Money to. Sincerely, Harvard.”

and now this:

There’s a lot of desperation and maybe all the desperados went there at once. Well, this is the link, if it works. The article is called something like Legal Cloud Gathers Over Scott Walker, and it purports to have sources that say that Walker is the target of a criminal investigation.

and a last minute college “love child” accusation already adamantly denied by the woman in question when spoken to by an actual reporter

Why such last minute hail marys and some on the left are jumping all over? Perhaps because of this:

When I tweeted the photo above of the “Teamster for Walker,” several people responded that they too were Teamsters who would vote for Walker. The out-of-state union bosses will leave Wisconsin after Tuesday, but the residents will be left to repair relationships with their neighbors. Showing that this is a battle for all Wisconsin and that the dividing line is one between operatives and citizens, and not against union members, is step one to making Wisconsin that light on the hill.

And this isn’t even counting the arrest of a lone protester to protect a small crowd from pro-walker opinions.

I think the panic is really not unexpected, after all if you have Maureen Down crying for a change it can’t be good for DaLeft but it’s really more than this.

Normally a national party like the Democrat party would restrain things so far over the top that they threaten the brand but the big red wave of 2010 frightened them. When the folks went nuts in Madison last year the party and their friends in the media embraced it. When the occupod movement (a movement as organic as meat glue) raised their colors the Democrats and the Media were at their sides figuring this would be the thing that changed the equation.

With Wisconsin looking horrible and the National election starting to show signs of the cracks that have been obvious for a year the party has to go all in to keep 2012 from being a rout that shatters them on both a national and a state level.

The problem You can’t go “all in ” without the activists, and with the party as far left as it now is the activists are the people doing the very things that make the democrats unelectable.

The left acted in haste and will repent at leisure because they wouldn’t listen to me last October either here or at the Conservatory:

I keep expecting some elder statesman of the left to play Admiral Akbar, and shout to the Democrats who are jumping on the Occupy bandwagon: “It’s a trap!” But it looks like there aren’t any adults left to do so.

Now begs the question: Will the democrats be forced to stand by the side of the Kimberlins by the occupods? by the desperate folks at the Wisconsin Citizens media group, and how will they react if thrown under the bus?

A smart party would boot them soon and begin the rebuilding process but with a party built from different parts all wanting different things one can’t simply dump one part or another.

Normally I’d enjoy their trouble, but the more I see the more I’m convinced that Ladd Ehlinger is right, we haven’t seen anything near just how far these people will go in a last ditch effort to keep power.

I suspect it won’t be pretty or clean but it will be better then them actually keeping power.

Update: Patterico gives us the latest example of what the left does when …it thinks it’s winning:

After Aaron Walker went to court to get a peace order based on the site, Rauhauser sent me and others an email titled “Aaron Walker murder/suicide risk” that said, among other things:

Given Walker’s state of mind I would say his wife might find him hanging in the garage tonight when she gets home from work. Another possible outcome would be a two digit body count from some mosque in Virginia after Aaron goes full tilt Jared Loughner on the congregation. Someone who knows his wife or real world associates in Virginia should take steps to get him hospitalized before something grim happens.

My emphasis. Note the reference to Aaron’s wife. Bringing spouses into the harassment is a common tactic with this crowd.

and Stacy follows up:

Rauhauser (who has boasted of being armed with a Glock 9-mm pistol) was making ominous threats online, Kimberlin was pursuing a ruthlessly vindictive strategy of legal and workplace harassment against Walker, and when Walker tried to put a stop to it, Rauhauser suggested that Walker was contemplating some act of desperate violence.

Meanwhile in a Fitchburg far away Scott Walker reacts to all of this:

“This is an example of how incredibly desperate the opposition is,” Walker said. “It is sickening… I think this will backfire, and I think there are a lot of Democrats across the state that will say that this is what is exactly what is fundamentally wrong about politics in America today.”

“They are so desperate, they can’t stand by their record, they cannot stand by the issues , they have to make crap up that is fundamentally untrue, and I think this is why it’s going to turn,” Walker said. He added that because of the types of personal attacks he is receiving, voters are “not only likely to see us win, they’re likely to see us win by a large margin, because I think voters have had it — they’re disgusted and they’re ready to move on.” emphasis mine

This is the exact situation as the national election so expect this squared as the true scale of the Democrat party’s upcoming disaster becomes clear.

Update 2: Fixed a tag and via Ed Driscoll word is Washington is beginning to see it

it’s fair to say that Washington insiders are reading the tea leaves and increasingly preparing for a Romney victory — especially following Friday’s bad economic news. The danger for Obama is that in political campaigns perception can quickly become reality. If influential liberals such as Dowd suddenly have no problem saying Obama appears to be in over his head, pretty soon everyone will be pointing out the obvious. Thus far, Obama’s meteoric rise has been largely dependent on a press that went straight from beat sweeteners to beatification. If the press turns on the president, the Obama campaign may not know what to do.

I don’t think these people are just figuring it out, I think, they just figured they can’t hide it anymore.

Update 3: Time magazine has its “media credibility day

Walker has surfed a controversy of his own making to the center of the national stage. Fellow governors have flocked to Wisconsin to campaign alongside him, lashing their reputations to his. Mitt Romney called him a “hero.” In the final days before the June 5 recall election, he has shattered fundraising records, befuddled his opponents and pulled ahead in the polls. The referendum has transformed a rookie governor into a conservative superstar….

Meanwhile according to Time, Madison continues as it was

Every weekday since the bill was signed, opponents have gathered at the capitol at high noon for an hour-long protest. “No matter what happens, this doesn’t end here,” says Chris Reeder, 41.

But Walkers fans are unimpressed

“They can protest,” Wisconsin GOP spokesman Ben Sparks says of Walker’s opponents. “They’ve got us beat on that. But that’s about all they’ve got us beat on.”

Even as Time acknowledges what already exists the question comes: What do they mean by “it doesn’t end here” and will the Democrats go along for the: all protest (or worse) all the time.

Update 4: Stacy gives even more backstory on the Weinergate connection

There is widespread suspicion that Brett Kimberlin is behind the “BreitbartUnmasked” site, which has access to information that could only have come from Kimberlin, and which is fixated on Kimberlin’s enemies to the exclusion of nearly everything else.

As Stacy continues to channel his inner Donkey I suspect Kimberlin & Company are thinking of that famous line from Shrek:

Yeah, it’s getting him to shut up that’s the trick!

Stacy McCain ain’t shutting up anytime soon.

Update 5: Michelle is still fighting mad
