Newtowns Lone Wolf vs Gosnell & His Accomplices

PFC David Webster: Shut up! I said, shut up, you Nazi f***!

German Baker: Ich-ich bin kein Nazi!

PFC David Webster: Oh, you’re not a Nazi? My mistake, you fat f***ing p***k. What about a human being? Are you one of those, or are you going to tell me that you never smelt the f***ing stench?

Band of Brothers Why we Fight 2001

Yesterday I saw a tweet that led me to a story at Red State comparing the Gosnell vs Newtown case.

Did I say eight people? I meant seven babies and a woman who was under anesthesia. The most vulnerable of us. Mark Steyn asked, “So how many dead American babies does it take to make the news?”

Actually 8 is all they could charge him with. The actual body count is likely MUCH higher.

The piece isn’t bad but I have real issues with the title really annoyed me:

Gosnell & Newtown: mirror-image tragedies show media hypocrisy

People keep calling this a mirror image case it is not!

Adam Lanza acted alone, he planned alone, stole the gun from his mother alone and on one fateful day slaughtered every single person that he did alone.

Kermit Gosnell is a totally different story. He had help every step of the way:

He was helped by the state of Pennsylvania who didn’t check on local inspectors.

He was helped by local inspectors who didn’t do their jobs

He was helped by decades worth of employees who worked at his clinics

He was helped by every person who referred a woman to his practice

He was helped by every person who knew what was going on and said nothing for decades.

And lets most important of all

He was helped by every single person who pressured, advised, cajoled or accompanied a pregnant woman to Gosnell’s place of business & paid him to kill.

The parents of Newtown took their kids to Sandy Hook that day to teach them to live. The Families that brought their children to Gosnell took them to die.

There is a mirror involved in the Gosnell case, it’s a mirror reflecting exactly what Abortion is. And that’s way so many people want to look away.

Two closing thoughts: If Gosnell had not been selling prescription drugs illegally someday his obit would have spoken about the kindly old doctor dedicated to providing abortion services to poor and minority patents instead of one of the most successful mass murders in US history.

If you are one of those women “served” by Kermitt Gosnell or any woman who has had an abortion, never forget God still loves you and will forgive even this if you simply ask. If you are having trouble forgiving yourself Project Rachel is there to help.

Update: Seriously? Talk about enablers:

—————————————

Two closing thoughts:  If Gosnell had not been selling prescription drugs illegally someday his obit would have spoken about the kindly old doctor  dedicated to providing abortion services to poor and minority patents instead of one of the most successful mass murders in US history.

If you are one of those women “served” by Kermitt Gosnell or any woman who has had an abortion, never forget God still loves you and will forgive even this if you simply ask.  If you are having trouble forgiving yourself Project Rachel is there to help.
