16 Days of Sarah Palin at CPAC: Day 8 Anticipation

This is the 8th of my series of Sarah Palin clips from CPAC 2014 & commentary upon them:

Day 1: The Crowd
Day 2: The Entrance
Day 3: Dr. Seuss Day 4: Why Sarah Feels Good
Day 5: Playing Prevent
Day 6: Sinking Ships
Day 7: Flexibility Pens & Putin

We are at the half way point of my posts on Sarah Palin speech. As we hit this point it’s worth reminding those new to the series why I decided to do this in 16 parts.

I was watching Morning Joe the Monday after CPAC and fellow Fitchburg native Mike Barnicle rather than talking about anything Gov Palin actually said simply called her a “moron”

Given the skill the Democrats who have held the White house & senate for the last six years that’s an amazing statement and nothing answers those critics better than the applause line of this thirty five second clip.

If you don’t remember why that line is so telling lets take you back to 2008

It was a laugh line for the left

As we’ve said before, this is an extremely far-fetched scenario.

but as Sarah Palin tweeted out a few days ago.

As CNN noted

Saturday Night Live parodied her remarks in a now-famous sketch with Tina Fey, who played Palin on the show, saying “I can see Russia from my house.”

I doubt we’ll see SNL invite Tina Fey back for a “told you so” skit. Doesn’t fit the show’s worldview.
