The Fugitive 1993

You know when you live long enough you see just about everything.

For example I’m old enough to remember the days when people objected to Israel Blaming Hamas for the kidnapping and murder of those Israeli teens that was the prelude to the latest round of fighting in the Israel & Gaza.

Khaled Meshal, head of the Hamas political bureau, told Sky News in Arabic on Wednesday that his organization is not behind the kidnapping and murder of the three Israeli teens in the West Bank. According to the report, Khaled asked Turkey to intervene in the crisis with Israel and to convey a message that Hamas is interested in calming things down and avoiding further military conflict with Israel.

Furthermore

According to these sources, Hamas requested that Turkey convey messages to Israel to the effect that the organization has no connection to the kidnapping. Qatar also conveyed similar messages to Israel and the Palestinian Authority leadership.

And you could find attacks on Israel for blaming Hamas all over the net

If this ends with the missing teens being rescued, how will Netanyahu try to convince the world that Hamas was truly behind the kidnapping? If Netanyahu cannot prove his case against Hamas with solid and indisputable proof that the Palestinian organization was really behind the kidnapping this could very well be the last such hoax that Netanyahu pulls.

In US Magazines:

It Turns Out Hamas May Not Have Kidnapped and Killed the 3 Israeli Teens After All

And with smug words

As in the case of Weapons of Mass Destruction, many observers and journalists never bought the Israeli story.

And “Smoking gun proof:“

Today, the whole world is recognizing and applauding Palestine’s new coalition government featuring the newly-reconciled PLA and Hamas. Israel is going crazy, screaming about the “evil Hamas terrorists.” Suddenly three Israeli teens are allegedly kidnapped. Israel blames Hamas, and initiates a brutal crackdown in the West Bank.

But Hamas had nothing to gain, and everything to lose, from pulling off this kind of kidnapping. The only beneficiary is Israel, which wants to delegitimize the Palestinian coalition government. The situation fairly screams “false flag!

Prompting smug remarks in comments

I am deeply ashamed over the falsehood of fanatic Jews in Israel.

Ah those halcyon days of my youth, I remember them well.

Alas how things change with the passage of time

A top Hamas official said members of his militant group kidnapped three Israeli teenagers whose deaths in June provoked a spiral of violence that led to the war in Gaza, the first acknowledgement of the movement’s involvement.

Hamas, which controls Gaza, has up to now refused to confirm or deny Israeli accusations that it masterminded the abduction and killing of the three young men, one of them a joint U.S.-Israeli citizen, in Hebron

but but False flag!

“There was much speculation about this operation, some said it was a conspiracy,” al-Arouri told delegates at the meeting of the International Union of Islamic Scholars on Wednesday, a recording of which was posted online by organisers.

“The popular will was exercised throughout our occupied land, and culminated in the heroic operation by the Qassam Brigades in imprisoning the three settlers in Hebron,” he said, referring to Hamas’s armed wing.

Amazing what you find out as time marches on. Why I remember those early denials of Hamas’s responsibility like they were only last month…

…come to think of it they were last month weren’t they?

Well maybe the various Jew haters out there will have better luck with this story from the US:

Temple University is investigating after a student reportedly attacked and made anti-Semitic remarks to another student at an event welcoming students to campus.

Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) is going long on denials

There was an incident today @ Templefest involving someone who is NOT a member of our organization, but accusations by right wing media are patently false. No Anti Semitic sentiments or slurs. We’re writing a statement w/eyewitness testimony at the moment.

Temple has put out their own statement on their website:

Temple University is investigating a report of an attack against a student late Wednesday afternoon on main campus. The attack is alleged to have included physical violence and anti-Semitic statements and religious slurs. As part of its investigation, Temple asks that anyone with information about the incident contact Campus Safety Services immediately at 2152041234.

Temple University unequivocally condemns the disparagement or assault of any person based on religion or nationality. The university will not tolerate violence of any kind directed against members of the Temple community.

In addition, university officials Wednesday night reached out to leaders of the Temple Jewish and pro-Palestinian communities to discuss the incident and a best path for moving forward.

I wonder if those denials will hold up as long over the course of time as Hamas’ did?

We’re writing a statement w/ eyewitness testimony at the moment.

Temple has put out their own statement on their website:

Temple University is investigating a report of an attack against a student late Wednesday afternoon on main campus. The attack is alleged to have included physical violence and anti-Semitic statements and religious slurs. As part of its investigation, Temple asks that anyone with information about the incident contact Campus Safety Services immediately at 215-204-1234.
