Stacy McCain makes some excellent biblical points in this piece concerning a young lady who with some diabolic help has made some really bad choices

Can you imagine the insane hatred inside this woman, that she would take a Bible — a gift from her own grandmother! — and make it into such a heinously abusive celebration of degeneracy?

Do you think that people this crazy and hateful are not also in the grasp of a frightening evil? What kind of person do you think would act this way? Nine months later, the same person posted this:

Moreover he points to bad decisions having bad results:

So, five years ago, she began doing tarot card readings, and by November 2014 she’s so sick and crazy she’s soliciting donations to help her get diagnosed to be eligible for federal disability payments. Maybe you think this is all just a coincidence, that Robin’s mental illness and her sexual perversion are unrelated to her blasphemous hatred of God and her dabbling in the occult. Maybe I’m just an ignorant hillbilly Bible-thumper for suspecting that Robin’s misfortunes are not entirely coincidental.

Remembering Christ’s admonition from Luke Chapter 13 verses 1-5

At that time some people who were present there told him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with the blood of their sacrifices.

He said to them in reply, “Do you think that because these Galileans suffered in this way they were greater sinners than all other Galileans?  By no means! But I tell you, if you do not repent, you will all perish as they did!

Or those eighteen people who were killed when the tower at Siloam fell on them  – do you think they were more guilty than everyone else who lived in Jerusalem?  By no means! But I tell you, if you do not repent, you will all perish as they did!”

…I find it improbable that her physical illness is directly related to these particular bad decisions.

However even if we come to that conclusion concerning aliments physical and / or mental the 2nd half of both of the examples Christ gives are in play here:  “I tell you, if you do not repent, you will all perish as they did.”

That being the case we are required to pray for Ms. Robin and not just for her conversion in the spirit of (I’m better than her)  but for her physical and mental well being and happiness in the spirit of love for as Christ said

“But to you who hear I say, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,  bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.

Luke 6:27-28

or as in an earlier testament:

When you come upon your enemy’s ox or ass going astray, see to it that it is returned to him.  When you notice the ass of one who hates you lying prostrate under its burden, by no means desert him; help him, rather, to raise it up.

Exodus 23:4-5

The example of how this young lady’s decisions neither lead to happiness nor peace is an important one, but not as vital as the reminder that she is as much a child of God made in his image as any other person and Christ loves her.

And to those who insist that prayer for her is not worth our time let me leave you with one final verse from Mark 10:27

Jesus looked at them and said, “For human beings it is impossible, but not for God. All things are possible for God.”

I didn’t bother to watch the State of the Union speech last night, partially because I know the actual state of the Union (slowing improving as Obama’s remaining days in the White House decrease) but mostly because of one fact that is getting very little press.

It doesn’t matter what president Obama proposes, Free College, Free Drugs, Free money etc for any of it to actually even start to become law someone has to introduce the bill in congress and have it placed on the calendar for a vote.

And guess what?  He doesn’t have a majority to do so, not in the house, not in the senate, he’s got diddly.

And the best part, he can’t play the “do nothing” congress game because they are going to have plenty of their own bills, debated and voted on placed before him and if and when he casts his vetoes to play to his base (the only people who will have an interest in him after he’s done) he’ll make it that much harder for Democrats in 2016.

So play the media’s game and spend the day talking about the Obama speech if you want, I’m not because it hs all the significance that he does.

Alberto Nisman is dead. He was found dead in his one-bedroom Buenos Aires apartment on Sunday, hours before he was scheduled to appear at a congressional hearing on Monday to provide more details on his lawsuit accusing president Cristina Kirchner, Foreign Minister Hector Timerman and others conspiracy to cover up an investigation into Iran’s alleged involvement in the 1994 attack on the AMIA Jewish community center (the WSJ has a list of 5 Things to Know About Argentine Bombing Probe).

Nisman’s investigations led to the indictment of Carlos Menem, who was president at the time of the AMIA attack for tampering with evidence that implicated a Syrian businessman.

Everything else surrounding Nisman’s death is a mystery.

The government’s Secretary for Security was on the scene before any of the investigating authorities (including the investigating prosecutor and the coroner’s office). Keep that foremost in your mind when you read anything on Nisman.

Here’s what has been revealed so far:

  • He was found in his bathroom in a pool of blood. Next to his body was a 22 caliber firearm and a bullet casing.
  • He died from a bullet to the head. Earlier accounts said the entry point was on his right side towards the rear of the ear; the official account says it was the right temple.
  • The gun that shot the bullet in Nisman’s brain was not his, although he owned and had permits for two firearms.
  • No gunshot residue was found on his body, ““unfortunately,
  • Nisman left a shopping list for his housekeeper.
  • Apparently none of the ten security officers assigned to protect Nisman was stationed on the thirteenth floor of the apartment building on which he lived.
  • His apartment has a main entrance and a service entrance, but all reports only mention the main entrance.
  • The investigating prosecutor calls it an “induced suicide.”
  • Ariel Lijo, the Argentinian judge who received Nisman’s 300 page complaint alleging the involvement of President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner and others in covering up Iran’s culpability for the 1994 bombing of the AMIA, ordered the seizure of all documentation and other evidence referred to in the complaint.
  • Authorities raided both his home and his office for all documents regarding any of his investigations.
  • Yesterday the government released a copy of the 300-page civil complaint against Fernendez that Nisman was scheduled to testify to Congress.

Nisman, who was barred by the Argentinian government from testifying on Iran’s increased influence in South America at a U.S. Congress subcommittee hearing in 2013, had asked Judge Lijo to freeze $23 million of assets belonging to Mrs. Kirchner and the others named in the complaint.

Who killed Nisman?

“Anyone could have opened it.”

  • Investigators found another means of access to the apartment through a hallway where the air-conditioners are located, with a door that leads to the apartment. They found a fingerprint and a footprint.
