Right, duty, whatever one wants to call it, I voted today in the California Primary Election. No Party Preference, crossover ballot—Republican. Who did I vote for? Ted Cruz. I figured that readers would want to know.

I first registered as a Republican immediately after the 2000 General Election in which I voted for a Republican picardelectionmemecandidate for president for the first time. This was after a decade-long exploration of the two major political parties and paying closer attention to current events than I had done before that period. Back then, I remained a registered as a Democrat on purpose until after I voted in order to send a tiny message to the party whose principles bore no resemblance to my own. Sixteen years later, the circumstances are similar: this was my first vote as an independent. We’ll see what happens next.

One of my real-life friends tells me that Hillary and Bill Clinton are in town, holding a rally a quick bus ride from my apartment, among other places in LA.

Hillary Clinton is holding multiple campaign events across Southern California on Monday, the eve of the California presidential primary.

Clinton attended a “Get out the Vote” rally at La Fachada Plaza Mexico in Lynwood. Then, she headed to Leimert Park Village Plaza for another rally, followed by an event at Long Beach Community College. The former secretary of state will then head to the Greek Theatre for a concert later in the evening.

The concert will feature singers Christina Aguilera, John Legend and Stevie Wonder.

Clinton has reached the number of delegates and superdelegates needed to win the Democratic nomination, according to an Associated Press survey of delegates.

I get my hair trimmed at a shop about two blocks from Leimert Park and was considering going for a clean-up cut today. Glad I found out about the Clinton event beforehand. Traffic makes me nuts—even when I’m not driving. So do Leftists.

Oh, have I mentioned that my hair is about an inch long? Not so baldilocks anymore. A lot grayer, though.

We are in day four of the MSM faux outrage over Donald Trump’s questioning of the impartiality of the judge in his Trump University case based on race and foolish members of the GOP continue to play the MSM’s game for them when questioned about it rather than pointing out something rather obvious.

For at least a decade we have seen the MSM act as if the GOP has a war on “Hispanics”. We have seen commentator after commentator make this argument, particularly on spanish language TV.

Furthermore for the last year or so we have heard the MSM loudly proclaim that Hispanics are united against Trump and this will be his downfall again especially on Spanish TV.

And of course last week we had the spectacle of a “Hispanic” mayor blame Donald Trump for violence against him and hold back his police force while a Hispanic Police chief made excuses for not protecting those attacked.

This leads to the obvious question:

If the MSM INSISTS that Hispanics hate Trump and can’t wait to foil him why are they so shocked that Mr. Trump takes him at their word in regards to this particular Hispanic Judge?

I think that’s an excellent question and every republican who is asked about what Mr. Trump words should reply thus:

While I have no reason to believe that this judge is biased, given the MSM’s declarations that Hispanics are against Mr. Trump and given the actions and inactions of Hispanic officers who are supposed to protect his supporters I can certainly understand his suspicions.

If the MSM wants to put the Hispanic vs Trump card in the deck Trump has every right to play it and let’s see Democrat Mayors and officials go out of their way to prove their even handedness for a change.

Update: Coulter Channels DaTechGuy:

The entire media — and most of the GOP — have spent 10 months telling us that Mexicans in the United States are going to HATE Trump for saying he’ll build a wall. Now they’re outraged that Trump thinks one Mexican hates him for saying he’ll build a wall.

Curiel has distributed scholarships to illegal aliens. He belongs to an organization that sends lawyers to the border to ensure that no illegal aliens’ “human rights” are violated. The name of the organization? The San Diego La Raza Lawyers Association — “La Raza” meaning THE RACE.

The New York Times alone has published hundreds of articles, editorials, op-eds, movie reviews, sports articles and crossword puzzles darkly invoking “white judges” and “all-white” juries, as if that is ipso facto proof of racist justice.

Two weeks ago — that’s not an error; I didn’t mean to type “decades” and it came out “weeks” — the Times published an op-ed by a federal appeals judge stating: “All-white juries risk undermining the perception of justice in minority communities, even if a mixed-race jury would have reached the same verdict or imposed the same sentence.”

In other words, even when provably not unfair, white jurors create the “perception” of unfairness solely by virtue of the color of their skin.

Innocence Project co-founder Barry Scheck’s entire career of springing criminals would be gone if it were generally accepted that we can’t question judges or juries based on race or ethnicity.

What’s good for the goose etc…
