For many years I’ve been attempting to raise the alarm about the loss of our rights and our freedoms.  You would expect that my posts would be met with outrage by my Facebook friends or Twitter followers, who should have notice the same erosion of our rights. You would expect most of my friends would share my concerns.  Unfortunately that is not the case at all.  Most often my post is met with silence and apathy.  Occasionally I get into arguments with friends who side with those who are robbing us of our freedoms.  At times I do get discouraged but I refuse to give up.  For inspiration I reflect on a quote by that great philosopher Tim Allen from the movie Galaxy Quest: “Never give up, never surrender.”

Most people are not aware of what they’ve lost.  Very few schools teach civics any more.  Instead they teach the politically correct, liberal revisionist interpretation of the Constitution.  Our founding principles have been completely dismissed by our education establishment in the name of the tired liberal cliché: they were originated by a bunch of white supremacist, slave holders.

Instead of the virtues of our founding principles and our remarkable Constitution, educators now praise that deeply flawed and deadly political philosophy known as socialism.  Instead of championing free speech, students are now taught that their feelings are far more important than everyone else’s rights.  Individual, God given natural rights have now been replaced by collective rights granted to us exclusively by the government.

It is not just teachers that are brainwashing entire generations.   Hollywood and the rest of the entertainment industry are also guilty. Whenever a conservative or a libertarian comes out of the political closet they are ostracized and denied future roles.  Liberals enjoy a virtual monopoly over the entertainment industry and they use that monopoly to spread their liberal ideals. .

Liberals also enjoy a virtual monopoly over the news industry.  With this last election the American news media lost the vast majority of its remaining credibility.  They are now poling about the same as leprosy.  Despite these miserable poll numbers it is nearly impossible for one person to compete with the avalanche of biased news.  That’s the biggest problem I face.   I’m just one person trying to spread a message that a sizable percentage of my right of center Facebook friends agree with.  Unfortunately they remain silent.  They do not share my posts or share similar posts even though they are just as unhappy as I am with the state of things.  I get into epic debates with my liberal friends but never receive any backup from my conservative and libertarian friends.  If you have friends like me that try to spread the word please help them by sharing their posts and helping in the debates.  That could make a huge difference.

I try to experiment with different ways of getting my message out on Facebook.  Another quote I draw inspiration from comes from Clint Eastwood in the movie Heartbreak Ridge: “improvise, adapt, overcome.”  I try to not only inform, but also entertain my friends.

Facebook and Twitter are not my outlets for spreading my Constitution message.  I created a very successful website Constitution Mythbuster.   Please check it out.  WordPress make it easy to start your own website, please do so, the more conservative and libertarian websites that exist, the better.  I would very like to thank Da Tech Guy for the opportunity to spread my message of freedom and constitutional principles on this website.

The latest pearl-clutching news cycle comes from the NYT: Comey Memo Says Trump Asked Him to End Flynn Investigation. The Gray Lady asserts on the third paragraph,

The documentation of Mr. Trump’s request is the clearest evidence that the president has tried to directly influence the Justice Department and F.B.I. investigation into links between Mr. Trump’s associates and Russia.

Clearest evidence, they say? On paragraph six, the NYT declares they have not seen the memo at all,

The New York Times has not viewed a copy of the memo, which is unclassified, but one of Mr. Comey’s associates read parts of it to a Times reporter.

Say again?

The New York Times has not viewed a copy of the memo,

They claim that this is “clearest evidence” that the President has tried to directly influence an investigation, but they haven’t even looked at it?

which is unclassified,

It’s unclassified because Comey wrote the memo to himself.

Comey is a lawyer. Lawyers routinely write memos to themselves on all sorts of subjects, including on ways to cover their butts. That does not make this memo (or its parts) as of itself a factual statement that would present “clearest evidence” of anything.

Not only that,

one of Mr. Comey’s associates

not Comey himself, who has been perfectly able to come forward anytime during the past three months (Michael Flynn was fired on February 13th) and present this “clearest evidence,” if it exists.

Why wait until after he was fired? Why not just quit in protest when it allegedly happened?

One thing Comey could have done short of quitting is inform the Senate Intelligence Committee of Trump’s alleged statement.

Comey didn’t make the call but instead had an unnamed associate, who

read parts of it

I’ve read whole articles over the phone when people asked me to. Just how long is this memo?

to a Times reporter.

Not to Michael Schmidt, who actually wrote the article, but to some unnamed person in the newsroom or somewhere.

So you get this,

Not to pick on poor Rubin, but the pattern is a NYT-WaPo-CNN pearl-clutching circle over leaks provided by anonymous people over an investigation which has dragged on for several  months and has produced no evidence regarding Trump’s links to Russia.

In plain English: An unnamed person read parts of a note Comey wrote to himself (and kept in a drawer for three months), to an unnamed NYT employee.

The NYT calls it “clearest evidence;” the WaPo says it’s obstruction of justice.

Some are talking of impeachment over this – over some newspaper playing Mad Libs with stuff they haven’t actually seen.

Instead, I join with Charlie Martin in demanding, Show Me the Memos!

Here are some Tips For Reading Washington Post Stories About Trump Based On Anonymous Leaks. Pay special attention to #5, “Compare sources willing to put their name and reputation on the line.” Comey certainly hasn’t.

Likewise, John Podhoretz has valuable advice to Pres. Trump: STOP TALKING.

Fausta Rodríguez Wertz writes in U. S. and Latin America at Fausta’s blog.

If the person involved was a 27 year old Trump supporter named “Bob” CNN would be running the story hourly breathlessly telling you of the police’s discovery of a private arsenal:

Minneapolis police uncovered an arsenal of guns and bomb-making devices during a routine arrest last week.

According to police, a man walked by a parked car in north Minneapolis about 5 p.m. Thursday and confronted the people inside after they threw food wrappers on the ground. They ignored him until he paused to get the car license number. The men then got out of the car and indicated they had guns, according to a criminal complaint filed Monday.

The man flagged down officers, the complaint says, but the men from inside car continued to yell at him and resisted the officers’ attempts to control the situation. The men were insistent they needed to be near the car because a drone was coming to deliver a package, the complaint said. Because of the suspicious circumstances and fear for the man’s safety, the men were placed in the squad while officers searched their car.

Inside, the officers found a hand grenade, handgun, assault rifles and magazines and a large quantity of ammunition, the complaint said. They also found cellphones, computers and electronics equipment, including drone parts.

But because this story  is about a “Minneapolis” man named Abdullah N. Alrifahe you won’t find the story on NBC, CBS, ABC or CNN.  It will be considered a local story not worthy of any attention from the National Press who would much rather report the latest breathless story from from unnamed sources that will supposedly bring down Donald Trump.

Unexpectedly!
