Ways to get involved:
1) Immediately / remotely – Join our social media protest! Find the guide, with pre-written posts and tweets, as well as great meme images and flyers, here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B7XfvOJQc9VdN05sOHU1YzJSaGs?usp=sharing1

2) In person: plan to attend the protest. We’ll have resources available on this page for those who want to protest by land or by sea (OK, by river, but you get the idea). Invite your friends, fellow activists, people who have been wanting to get involved but haven’t – anyone and everyone; we need a strong showing!

Why bother to think for yourself when others will think for you and tell you what to say?

On June 3, in Memphis, TN and Austin, TX, they will be marching to have President Trump impeached.

The above is just a sampling of the scheduled outbreaks of manufactured outrage that are popping up every day all over the country, there is much more, but it really does seem to be turning into a bunch of white noise doesn’t it?

MJ Stevenson, AKA Zilla, is best known on the web as Zilla at MareZilla.com. She lives in a woodland shack near a creek, in one of those rural parts of New York State that nobody knows or cares about, with her family and a large pack of guardian companion animals.

I have met Robert Spencer briefly over the years in a variety of places across the U.S., and frequently read his blog, Jihad Watch, which I invite you to read.

Robert was poisoned during a trip to Iceland, after giving an anti-jihad lecture in Reykjavik.

Robert’s lecture was preceded by media reports which he describes as “a firestorm of abuse in the Icelandic press,” some downright libelous,

Perhaps most absurd of all, Icelandic media published the false claim that I incited the Norwegian mass murderer Anders Breivik to kill. (Sigh. In a world of logical thinking, I’m as responsible for Breivik as the Beatles are for Charles Manson.) After the event, one article even featured a large photo of Breivik, yet it quoted nary a thing I said that evening.

Not one Icelandic media outlet contacted me for comment, much less for rebuttal to the charges they made against me.

In spite of the media demonizing, 500 people attended the lecture, following which Robert went out for dinner. It was then that someone slipped Ritalin mixed with MDMA (Ecstasy) in his drink. He was hospitalized for days.

Robert continues (emphasis added),

I learned my lesson. And the lesson I learned was that media demonization of those who dissent from the Leftist line is direct incitement to violence. By portraying me and others who raise legitimate questions about jihad terror and Sharia oppression as racist, bigoted “Islamophobes” without allowing us a fair hearing, they paint a huge target on the backs of those who dare to dissent.

Those who paint the targets, and those who shoot at them, think they’re doing something great. Not only does the Left fill those whom it brainwashes with hate, but it does so while portraying its enemies as the hatemongers, such that violent Leftists such as the young man who drugged me feel righteous as they victimize and brutalize for the crime of disagreement.

Mark Steyn, with whom I have also coincided at various venues, says “I don’t know how I’d stand up to a cocktail of Ritalin and Ecstasy.” I doubt that I’d fare as well as Robert.

Steyn notes the effect of poisonous social engineering (emphasis added),

The social-justice crowd are moving toward the same point as the Charlie Hebdo killers, and for the same reason: They’re too stupid to argue. For the Islamic imperialists, debate is a largely alien concept. For the left, it’s simply too much effort. As I said here many years ago, the great appeal of multiculturalism is that it absolves you from having to know anything about other cultures: If they’re all equally valid, what’s the point? Slap on the CO-EXIST bumper sticker and off you tootle. No need to worry whether the “C” might have a bit of a problem with some of the other letters, and that indeed, if not for the “C”, you wouldn’t need a bumper-sticker admonition to CO-EXIST in the first place. But, after two generations of social engineering, of the substitution of attitudes for education, it would require too much effort to equip yourself to argue against the difficult questions a man such as Robert Spencer raises. It’s literally easier to kill him.

Indeed, Robert gets it:

For years I have noted that the Left carries out relentless character assassination against those whom it hates, with the intention of discrediting us utterly, without debate or examination of our ideas. Now I see that the endpoint of this operation is not just that we be silenced, but that we be dead. Character assassination was first, and as my being poisoned in Iceland shows, now the Left is beginning to move on to the next level: actual assassination.

It’s not “only” a culture war. It never has been.

As one of the biggest marketing tools we have, social media is being tapped by companies large and small. It is one of the most effective ways to ‘collect’ followers while building a brand. One US digital marketing company, Single Grain, regularly explores new and innovative ways to tap the power of social media, but what they keep coming back to is the example set by our Commander in Chief, Donald J. Trump. Perhaps, looking at his history of Tweeting might provide some insights into what the average consumer is looking for and how to make use of that when building a brand. Let’s take a look at POTUS.

He Is Our POTUS After All

Whether you love him, hate him, or simply don’t care much about him at all, the one thing you have to admit is that President Trump made the history books during this heated and often controversial campaign. What the masses saw was a man who, for lack of a better description, opened mouth and inserted foot. He’d be out on the campaign trail or watching the nightly news on the day’s events and suddenly he would be Tweeting his thoughts. This endeared him to some, but others were disgusted by his actions.

But the one thing that Single Grain wants to point out here is that he sure grabbed the media’s attention! The race is long over and he is now the President of the United States, our POTUS, and still, he’s tweeting away as if he were just another blue collar worker waiting for the weekend and a couple days to relax and enjoy. Unfortunately, that isn’t one of the luxuries our 45th President gets to enjoy. As President, his week is seven days long and he’s on duty 24 hours a day. So what can today’s business owner or administrator learn from all this? And, more importantly, how can today’s digital marketing company cash in on his example?

Consumers Want ‘For Real’

What most people respect, even if they don’t like our president is the fact that he is ‘real’. What you see is what you get and that is something today’s consumer wants. They want ‘for real.’ They don’t want a brand built on a Madison Avenue marketing campaign that is far from the reality of what that company is and what they have to offer. Today’s consumer wants a brand they can engage with and it is why so many people hit ‘like’ or ‘love’ on product pages.

Millennials are all about being in touch with their feelings and they want to deal with brands who have a social message. While you might not agree with President Trump’s politics, he has a message and he’s only too glad to share it. He will Tweet his heart away and that is something that just might set the stage for marketers going forward through the next four years. Want to get your message out there to a group of people you will find on social sites 90% of their free time? Learn to social market and you’ll have learned the real message behind those Tweets. Trump trumps social media and that’s a lesson well learned.

It appears that the Democrats/Media/Left (which is all basically one thing) has decided that the best way to bring down Trump is to convince GOP officeholders in the bubble that there is political danger to supporting the GOP agenda (as defined by the votes) in general and this GOP candidate in particular.

I suspect these tactics work because:

  1. Many GOP office holders apparently don’t look outside the bubble as I mentioned yesterday and don’t understand that right now they, and not the media and the left, have power.
  2. Many other GOP office holders apparently don’t really believe what they ran on and are only interested in the power that comes from office and the potential wealth that can come from it.

That being the case there is one obvious tactic that the Trump administration should use.

Trump primaries.

The Trump administration should start examining the pool of potential pro-Trump tea party candidates in districts where GOP members are tempted to enable the Democrat attacks on the President and make it clear to said folks that the difference between an unknown underfunded candidate that has no prayer in a district and a candidate with name recognition, embraced by local GOP and tea party activists and a national fundraising base is a single tweet.

This is very practical because polls have made it abundantly clear that while the media’s all Trump doom all the time is having an effect in DC, it’s also clear that outside of the bubble it has not harmed the President’s popularity with those who elected him one single bit, and in fact is causing people to rally to his defense against what they consider unfair and unprecedented attacks.

Now there are disadvantages to this tactic, it’s a drastic step that would send shockwaves to the GOP house and might even embolden the left who might even help enable such candidates under the theory that it would be easier to beat a non-incumbent than a sitting member of congress.

However it is becoming increasingly clear that the GOP congress is populated by cowards without either the courage of their convictions or any convictions to have courage about.  That being the case if we can’t appeal to a sense of honor or courage that is lacking we must by necessity use their own cowardice to our advantage rather than allow the left to monopolize it.

In other words if they are only motivated by fear and self preservation let them be more afraid of us than them.
