A Quick Comment on the "No Hell" Business

“I, Sister Faustina Kowalska, by the order of God, have visited the Abysses of Hell so that I might tell souls about it and testify to its existence…the devils were full of hatred for me, but they had to obey me at the command of God, What I have written is but a pale shadow of the things I saw. But I noticed one thing: That most of the souls there are those who disbelieved that there is a hell.”

Diary of St Faustina

I will have more to say about this after some prayer and discernment but without commenting on the claims of who said what let me address a simple fact concerning the existence of hell.

For the statement that “There is no hell.” to be true the vast majority of Saints from Faustina to Don Bosco, to the Fatima Saints and more, Prayers like the Apostles Creed, the Saint Michael Prayer, the Fatima Prayer of the Rosary. Several apparitions of the Blessed Mother, all the previous Popes the Catechism of the Catholic Church and finally Jesus Christ himself all have to be either wrong or lies or both.

In other words the existence of hell is not an optional doctrine of the church. For the statement that “There is no hell” to be true then The 2000 year of Christianity in general and the Catholic Church in particular would have to be false.

Any Christian of any Denomination who would bet his soul on Hell not existing is a fool.
