As the new congress begins to take shape we can see that there is a lot of work that needs to be done to improve the understanding of politics among our fellow citizens. Too main think they can live off the government. Too few know the Government lives off of everyone. And too many believe that if they elect one good candidate they will save our Republic.
What we are called to do is to educate our fellow Americans. We must be building up the knowledge of our fellow citizens and helping them understand their role in our republic. It is to that end at the Worcester Tea Party focuses all its efforts. We do this not because at the end of the day it will make us rich, or famous, or even get us free beer. We do this because it is the right thing to do, and we will receive no more payment then the satisfaction in knowing that we have done our best to pass on to future Americans what is right and correct.
One can only do that in the right and correct way not with lies or insults but with patience and consideration and understanding. There are times that our work requires us to be confrontational. There are times that we have to stand up for things that are unpopular. Some people would not like to hear facts because they are committed to emotion. There are people who do not want us to be able to say that their pie-in-the-sky schemes are going to cost more and do less than they promised. We must be mindful of this as share the truth.
With that in mind there is a role for everyone to play in the work at the Worcester tea party does even if you live outside of Worcester! This year we are planning more Education Events in more places across our Commonwealth, this will require funding. If you are able to, go to our website and donate as generously as you can, and we will work to correct the record here in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; the Ivory Tower of leftist ideology. If they can’t hide from the truth here, they won’t be able to hide from the truth and the rest of our nation. Thank you for all that you do in the cause of Liberty.

Worcester Tea Party
I never use terms like “fight” in these conversations because members of the Worcester Tea Party have actually fought for our Republic, and I would never slight their efforts and devotion by such comparison.
