Trump Takes Away and Gives

He told them he was going to do this.

President Donald Trump is officially withholding hundreds of millions in U.S. aid to three Central American countries as punishment for being much of the source of the current illegal immigration crisis.

The White House informed Congress Monday that it will permanently divert $370 million in aid to El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala, according to Reuters. That money was previously approved by Congress for fiscal year 2018, but had not yet been used.

Trump is not stopping there. The administration is also suspending $180 million that was approved in fiscal year 2017 that had not yet been spent.

Also, there’s this.

President Trump says millions of people living in the country illegally will be deported, beginning next week. In a pair of tweets Monday night — the eve of formally announcing his re-election bid — Mr. Trump said U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement would next week “begin the process of removing the millions of illegal aliens who have illicitly found their way into the United States.”

They will be removed as fast as they come in,” he wrote.

Pelosi, of course, is having a fit.

The President’s new threat of a mass deportation dragnet is an act of utter malice and bigotry, designed solely to inject fear in our communities,” Pelosi said.

The President must walk away from these cruel, ineffective and discriminatory policies, and work with Democrats to support smart, effective immigration reform that honors our values and keeps families together and safe.”

I, too, am angry, Nancy, but not at President Trump and not even at you and your party. After all, we expect you to favor foreigners over Americans and to screech RACISM!!! when you don’t get your way. Nature of the beast.

I’m angry at my party.

What the blank have you been doing for the past 30 years, GOP?

And, why the blank didn’t the Bushes – especially the second one — grow a pair and do something like this?

Oh wait. Never mind.

Americans don’t want to pick cotton at 105 degrees, but there are people who want to put food on their family’s tables and are willing to do that. We should thank them.

– Former President George W. Bush, showing his own racism while, at the same time, displaying utter ignorance about 21st century farming.

I suppose we should thank George W. Bush for the revelation that there is really only one party and that it is quite Leftist and has its attendant nomenklatura, who, of course, know what’s best for us proles.

At any rate, the solutions to the invasion of our country are bold and simple – and, at the same time, complicated.

But here’s something to consider: many illegal aliens will self-deport.

In the meantime, I’m looking forward to seeing how the Democrats react to the loss of all those prospective new voters.

Let the tears flow.

“They will be removed as fast as they come in,” he wrote.

Pelosi, of course, is having a fit.

“The President’s new threat of a mass deportation dragnet is an act of utter malice and bigotry, designed solely to inject fear in our communities,” Pelosi said.

“The President must walk away from these cruel, ineffective and discriminatory policies, and work with Democrats to support smart, effective immigration reform that honors our values and keeps families together and safe.”
