Sitting in for Fausta.

I don’t know why people are shocked by this

The Women’s March Has a Farrakhan Problem

Mass movements are sewn together from a wide variety of sources, so they often sweep in unwanted companions as they move toward their goals. No one, however, expected to discover that three Women’s March co-chairs—Linda Sarsour, Carmen Perez, and Tamika Mallory—had ties to Farrakhan. More mysterious and disturbing was the extended reluctance of the Women’s March, nearly a year since it became public, to acknowledge Farrakhan’s extremist views and disassociate themselves from them.

It all came to a head last week, after Farrakhan delivered his address to the annual Nation of Islam gathering for Saviours’ Day, the sect’s three-day holiday honoring its founder, Wallace Fard Muhammad. Farrakhan denounced “Satanic Jews,” said that “when you want something in this world, the Jew holds the door,” and at the climax of his speech, proclaimed, “White folks are going down, and Satan is going down, and Farrakhan by God’s grace has pulled the cover off of that Satanic Jew—and I’m here to say, your time is up.”

Or by this.

Seven House Democrats Have Direct Ties To Notorious Anti-Semite

At least seven House Democrats are known to have direct ties to Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, a notorious anti-Semite and racist who has called Jews “satanic” and said white people “deserve to die.”

California Reps. Maxine Waters and Barbara Lee, Illinois Rep. Danny Davis, Indiana Rep. Andre Carson, Minnesota Rep. Keith Ellison, New York Rep. Gregory Meeks and Texas Rep. Al Green have all attended meetings with Farrakhan while in Congress, according to photos, videos and witness accounts of the meetings reviewed by The Daily Caller News Foundation.

With the exception of Davis, the Democratic representatives have ignored repeated requests for comment regarding their relationships with Farrakhan.

The House Democrats mentioned are all members of the Congressional Black Caucus.

Are people just now discovering the Leftist and Islam are buddies? Where have you all been?

Besides hatred of white people — Jews or not — these people have a certain thing in common: the desire for this country’s destruction. Entities who would normally be at bloody odds have temporarily allied to destroy their mutually enemy: the USA.

This a strategy that is as old as dirt. If the mutual enemy falls, the alliance is ended and the Leftist-Islam Utopian War begins.

A war between the Organized Left and Islamists? That should be amusingly brief. But I hope to not be around to see it. Some types of Schadenfreude are just not worth it .

Last year when I covered the primary race in GA-4 staying in a predominantly black city, I was really taken aback by the reaction of some black folks when they discovered I supported the tea party:

It was if a switch was suddenly turned on with ice in her voice I was told: “I have no comment”. For the rest of.the time I was there I was stared at with contempt as if I was something lower than low. My race had not been an issue nor the Crucifix being Catholic in a very protestant state, but once it was known I supported the tea party it was as if I was wearing a Klan outfit. I heard the ladies talking among themselves saying you could tell I was a tea party man just by my appearance. When I left glares followed me out.

I blamed the media at the time but apparently this racial hatred is being stoked by dishonorable people whose title begins with the words “Honorable”

Congressional Black Caucus Travels US Cities Using Violent Rhetoric: Declares ‘War’ on Racist Tea Party, Says Tea Party Wants to Lynch Blacks

Black America has been ill-served by their “leaders” and the democratic party since the time of the great society:

Howard Portnoy puts it this way at Hot air

It appears that these lawmakers understand the actual threat the Tea Party poses—namely, a retrenching of the government handouts that help these politicians win reelection by keeping their constituents down.

I’m trying to think what is worse. The idea that these black “leaders” do not understand the tea party and are speaking from ignorance and panic (if so that’s inexcusable), or do understand the tea party and are purposely sowing race hatred for political gain. If the latter it’s one of the most despicable things I have seen in my lifetime.

Meanwhile in a time of internet and online communication there is no reason for anyone to not know the truth about the tea party. If individuals believe this nonsense then they can only blame themselves, both for their own self-deception and for the quality of their representation.

Update: Politico reports on it and equates it to “you lie”. Amazing

When I see this I just laugh:

The Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) is staying silent about a Tea Party Republican’s bid to join the group.

Rep.-elect Allen West (R-Fla.) indicated last week he intends to join the CBC to challenge the group’s “monolithic voice.”

Staying silent. Say WHAT? It is the Congressional Black Congress, not the Congressional Black Democratic Caucus or the Congressional Black Liberal Caucus. This should be a no brainer shouldn’t it?

A CBC spokesperson on Monday declined to comment on West’s bid.

Bid? BID! What it this an eBay auction?

This would be gift #4 for republicans of the month. I can’t imagine the caucus would be this foolish. Can you imagine what must go on in those meetings that is so embarrassing that they don’t dare let a republican hear it?

Update: I guess they figured it out. DaTechGuy get results!

The Congressional Black Caucus says it will allow two recently elected black Republicans to join the group if they ask.

The all-Democratic caucus had wavered over the issue since Tim Scott of South Carolina and Allen West of Florida were elected last week. Chairwoman Barbara Lee had pointed to the group’s liberal mission statement as a potential point of conflict.

But in a statement Tuesday, the group said the two would be welcomed if they request membership.

Another barrier falls, Huzzah!
