The latest in our series of posts that will not surprise any person who has been paying attention.

Today’s installment comes a post from Robert Spencer’s Jihad’s Watch on a case in England from this story in the Indian Express

An Indian-origin Islamist activist facing trial on terrorism charges skipped bail and fled the country with his family on Wednesday, headed through Paris to the Islamic State, British media have reported. The escape, first revealed by The Daily Mail, came after Abu Rumaysah failed to surrender his passport, a condition of his bail, and has led to opposition charges of police incompetence.

Seriously, they didn’t get the passport first before they let him out on bail?  Well it must be because he wasn’t charged with anything series lie inciting terrorist, oh wait….

Born Siddhartha Dhar, to a family Indian diplomatic sources in London told The Indian Express was of Bihar-Bengal origin, Abu Rumaysah had been arrested in September along with nine others, on charges of inciting terrorism, as part of an ongoing investigation of the London-based pro-jihadist group al-Muhajiroun.

Well nobody finds this more unexpected that Robert Spencer who writes…

He was forbidden to leave the country; Britain wants to keep its jihadis. But he eluded authorities, which is no doubt very easy to do in Clueless Britannia, and fled to the Islamic State. But not to worry, Abu Rumaysah, if you have “good intentions,” you can come back whenever you wish and be showered with goods by the Ministry of Appeasement.

The real question what is the source of this story’s place in the “Unexpectedly Chronicles”, that a supporter of Jihad in the west flouts law or that a bureaucracy is this inefficient?

FYI have you seen Robert Spencer’s latest book?

Or perhaps some of his other ones?

Hey Christmas is coming so give the gift of being informed

Ray Hanna from the Boston Chapter of Act for America will join us to talk about the Revolt, what it means for Egypt and the Coptic Christians who are already paying the price.

In the second hour Author and Islam Expert Robert Spencer of Jihad Watch joins the conversation talking Egypt,  the Muslim Brotherhood and I’m sure he’ll have more than a few words about the outrageous behavior of the English Government banning him and Pam Geller’s entry to the country.

And of course we’ll have a few things to say about his new book Not Peace but a sword that you can buy here:

UPDATE: Just got the good word that Pam Geller Author of The Post American Presidency The Obama Administration’s war on America (talk about a book ahead of its time) will be joining us in Hour 1 as well, talk about being loaded for bear!

That book was released 3 years ago on Monday, at the time the left considered the whole idea something of a joke, today given all we’ve seen from the IRS to the NSA it’s practically prophetic.

They say half a paycheck is better than none, but I’m still short of even half a paycheck this week.

8 more readers kicking in $20 will get that first full paycheck since May.  But one more at least get me half way there with just over a day to do.

Any aid in getting closer would be much appreciated.

.

Rick Blaine: What ever gave you the impression that I might help Laszlo escape?

Captain Renault: Because, my dear Ricky, I suspect that under that cynical shell you are at heart a sentimentalist. Laugh if you will, but I happen to be familiar with your record. Let me point out just two items: In 1935, you ran guns to Ethiopia. In 1936, you fought in Spain on the Loyalist side.

Rick Blaine: And got well paid for it on both occasions.

Captain Renault: The winning side would have paid you much better.

Casablanca 1942

It is no secret that I’m a big supporter of Pam Geller & Robert Spencer but being fairly ignorant on the David Stein stuff I’ll simply say this:

I’ve never understood the willingness of people, particularly on the right to go after Pam & Robert. I particularly don’t get the people who seem to have it in their minds they are all in this for the cash.

Let me remind everyone that if Pam & Robert were willing to lend their voices to the other side they would find the financial rewards quite satisfactory, I suspect that would be true even if they were willing to just shut up, plus they could send their bodyguards home.

Yet they fight on.

If that doesn’t clue you in, I don’t know what will.

That is all.

…If the thought of the Syrian rebels with chemicals didn’t get you worried perhaps this interview with Sky News might catch your eye:

The men only became animated when I showed a little knowledge of Salafist ideology and brought up the works of Islamists such as the Egyptian Sayyid Qutb.

This led to a question about the future of Syria’s minorities such as the Christians. Ahmed, Basah, and Hamid Hassan all agreed – Christians could only live there if they either converted, or paid the ‘Jizyah’ – a special tax levied on non-Muslims in previous centuries in the Middle East. If not said Bahar, they could be killed. (emphasis mine)

When asked why, the answer was, to them, quite simple – because the Prophet Mohammed said so. I was then invited to become a Muslim.

The conversation verged on the surreal. There we were talking in a quite friendly manner, with the occasional joke, about killing people because they wouldn’t pay the Jizyah, which critics regard as effectively obtaining money through menaces.

The interview ended with Ahmed volunteering that eventually Muslims must reclaim Andalucia in Spain for the Islamic Caliphate.

Let’s stipulate that it is in Syria’s interest to present these type of prisoners to the western world and that Syria has not been reticent about supporting these types in Iraq. None of this changes the fact that these are the folks we are going to be dealing with very soon once Assad falls. As Jihad watch put it:

“Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.” — Qur’an 9:29

Muslim spokesmen in the West routinely claim that this verse has no applicability in the modern world. They’re lying.

Just a reminder, as a Christian I’m a “person of the book” our friends who do not believe will not get off so easy.
