What better way to close out my videos from the National Republican Leadership Conference than with a double dose of Mark Steyn. First my interview:

And secondly an edited excerpt (just under 3 min) from his 35 min speech at the conference that brought the house down.

Believe me if Mark is appearing in your area you don’t want to miss the full speech or the full North Troy Vt Crossing business.

This is the last of my NRLC 2014 coverage.  If you think things like this Steyn Interview are worth your while please consider helping us end our consecutive streak of failing to make our $365 weekly goal is in no danger.

I do promise you if you do hit DaTipJar and help us get to our $365 weekly goal I’ll keep fighting like Mrs. Palin.  I’m not as valuable to the conservative movement as her but I’ll continue to do my part.

If 61 of you hit Subscribe at $20 a month subscribers this site will be able to cover its bills for a full year.

It’s April Fools day so it’s appropriate our piece from the Northeastern Republican Leadership conference in Nashua NH was Michael Graham’s hilarious speech.

A lot of his humor came from the state of the GOP in Massachusetts. Given how things are around here you’ve just got to laugh.

I met Jazz Shaw in person for the first time at the Northeastern Republican Leadership conference in Nashua NH

He had several good stories and interviews at the event including Karen Testerman and Joe Scarborough.

I spoke to Cranston Mayor Allan Fung who is running for Governor of Rhode Island at the Northeastern Republican Leadership conference in Nashua NH

His website is here. To my knowledge he is the first Asian American to run for Gov in RI somehow the MSM doesn’t find that newsworthy.

I spoke to NH Rep Don Lebrun at the Northeastern Republican Leadership conference in Nashua NH

It’s good to get a perspective from a local pol on these issues

At CPAC one of the busiest spots in the Vendor area was the Draft Ben Carson table.

Mr. Robinson certainly did his job as Ben Carson finished 3rd in the CPAC straw poll

Ironically I ran into him a week later in NH at the North Eastern Republican Leadership Conference in New Hampshire

You can find out more about the Draft Ben Carson movement here and here

There is a lot of focus on the big speakers at events such as NLRC but there is more to such events than just the pols and speakers, there are the people who come to seem them like Peter:

Paul:

and George

You likely haven’t heard of any of these fellows but no matter what I think or say concerning the New Hampshire senate race or anything else, it is what these people do, rather than what I say, that will decide what happens in 2014 and beyond.
