Muslims, many of them refugees from war, keep coming to America. Other than for the obvious reasons, the opportunity for a much better standard of living than what is expected in their home countries and the opportunity to collect government benefits, who have to wonder why this is happening.

I have some things to say to the Muslims who want to emigrate here.

If you believe in theocracy, in other words, sharia law, as many Muslims do, then America, with its long history of separating religion from government, is not for you.

Although this very recent development is still very controversial, in the United States, men can marry men and women can marry women, and yes, they have sex with each other. Millions of unmarried Americans, regardless of their sexual orientation, are sexually active. If this bothers you, then America is not for you.

Women and men in America, and teens too, often where next to no clothing. If this angers you, then America is not for you.

Dogs are beloved animal companions for many Americans. If you believe that Islam teaches you that dogs are unclean and that they should be avoided, then the United States is not for you.

While not as popular as beef or chicken, pork is a popular meat choice for many Americans. If this dietary selection gives you anguish because of what is written in the Quran, then America is not for you.

About three-quarters of American adults drink alcoholic beverages several times a week. Beer commercials are a staple of sports television and are common fare on many other TV programs. If you don’t approve because Islam teaches that alcohol is forbidden, then America is not for you.

Of course in this verbal exercise I could easily substitute France for the United States and make the same point.

And yes, to be fair, there are members of religious groups who have lived in the United States since before its founding, such as Orthodox Jews and the Amish, who feel uncomfortable with some of these American mores I just pointed out. Mormons too. But there is a big difference in regards to Islam. The first two I just mentioned don’t proselytize–although Orthodox Jews preach to other Jews–they are what I call beehive religions. You don’t bother them and they don’t bother you.

But Islam–read your history, naysayers–is not only a proselytizing faith, it is a conquering one. But three or four million Muslims can’t overthrow America.

Yet they keep coming.

Why?

Dialogue from the otherwise worthless Jeff Bridges film Wild Bill may shine some light on this paradox. John Hurt’s character remarks to Wild Bill Hickok as they arrive in hedonistic Deadwood, “This town… I really think it’s like something out of the Bible.”

“Which part?” Hickok replies.

“The part right before God gets angry.”

Is this how Muslims view our country?

In the wake of the Islamic terrorist attack on Orlando’s Pulse club–an establishment with a primarily gay clientele–online activists of the Organized Left and those who have been duped by them have taken the opportunity to blame Christians for it. Sounds crazy, does it not?

But this has been the pattern them for every mass shooting  since the 2011 Tucson, Arizona shooting. That Christianity is being blamed for the acts of a Muslim isn’t what matters, however. That the victims–49 dead and 50+ wounded–were primarily gay isn’t what matters. That’s this was an attack on the liberty of Americans by a death cult isn’t what matters. That President Obama–once again and along with his ideological brethren–is loath to blame the innocent and amenable to overlooking the guilty isn’t what matters.

And it’s not even Christians who matter. It’s Christ who matters.

All this morning, I’ve seen people assert that the Bible also advocates death for homosexuals–even from Christians. In an effort to repudiate this assertion, unlearned Christians assert that Mosaic Law is ignored and done away with. But that isn’t what the Man they claim to follow said.

17 Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them, but to fulfill them.

–Matthew 5:7

People who don’t bother to read the Old Testament do not get the context of what Christ meant when He said that. In the Old Testament, a lamb without defect was a sin-offering for the people, sacrificed by a Levitical priest. Christ’s purpose was to be the final sin-offering: to be the final Lamb foretold of by all the prophets, to be sacrificed for all sins–to fulfill the Law once and for all.

I’ve had to correct so many people about this and I thank God for those opportunities. And if someone who is hurting because of what happened in Orlando–or for any other reason–finds this out, grabs hold of it in faith, and is comforted by it, then His work is done. Once again.

And that is what matters.

Details will continue to roll in and the numbers will change, but as of this writing, 50 people are reported dead in the worse mass shooting in American history, yes even worse than Virginia Tech, Sandy Hook, and San Bernardino.

Here is what we know this morning: The shooter, who was killed about six hours ago by a SWAT team, was Omar Mir Seddique Mateen of Port St. Lucie, Florida. He entered an Orlando, Florida gay bar and shot dozens–in addition to the 50 murders, another 53 people have been wounded. Mateen, as US media outlets feel compelled to report, is a US citizen, but his parents were born in Afghanistan. Mateen was born in New York.

The killer was carrying a handgun and an AR-15 assault rifle. The FBI says that Mateen may have “leanings to radical Islamic terrorism.”

This human filth was a registered Democrat,

Mateen will certainly disrupt the liberal narrative that hate crimes are right-wing phenomenon and that domestic terrorism has nothing to do with Islam. The last mass shooting in America, in case you forgot, was in San Bernardino, California, when a US born Muslim and his Pakistani wife killed 14 people at a holiday party seven months ago.

France was hit by two mass shootings last year–in both of those tragic incidents the perpetrators were Muslims. In the Charlie Hebdo attacks, the magazine’s repeated use of profane images of Muhammad was cited for reason for the murders. and in the much deadlier November Paris attacks, gunmen were heard shouting “Allahu akbar.”

The Islamic State terror group hailed the Orlando murders.

Some of these have already started to happen but I can only type so fast.

During any show that Jake Tapper is not hosting CNN and every other MSM network will do their best to mention guns, throw in the words “KKK” and “hate crime” into the discussion to avoid saying Islamic Terror.

Pam Geller and Robert Spencer wil not be spoken to by any major network.

Colleges will do their best to spin this, somehow blaming Trump.

Hillary Clinton and democrats will be saying Guns Guns guns and will not get any grief for it

Donald Trump will talk Islamic Terror, particularly if the shooter(s) are from abroad and will be under constant media attack for it.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim community will be pushed out front by CAIR as their regular spokes people will be very gingerly about defending homosexuality and homosexuals.

Despite their total lack of involvement every single White or Christian group that has ever said a bad thing about the LGBT community will be invoked in every media story out there.

Milo Yiannopoulos will write THE column on this attack telling gays it’s time to choose sides for their own survival. He will be mercilessly attacked for it but many gays will come to the same conclusion but not say it aloud for fear of backlash.

Democrats will continue to blame Trump for this attack.

Because the gay community was targeted the administration will be much more proactive than normal.

The leaders of the gay community will be completely torn by this attack as will Bernie Sanders supporters but the later at least will fall into line defending Islam within a week.

Christians of every denomination including the Pope will be praying for the victims, and will get no credit for it MSM will focus on Westboro Baptist instead.

The people who go nuts over the words “Blue Lives Matter” will be silent on the subject for a week or so.

I will be called a hater and a bigot for writing all of these things.

Update: The Mental Health card was played on CNN during Jake’s show, it will continue to be played to avoid going to Islam.

Update 2: I predict that the Transgender bathroom crowd will use this attack as a reason to push their bills “for the victims”.

Update 3: Exactly right

Update 4: Sally Kohn doing her best to prove me right as fast as possible

Update 5:
NBC quoting father “nothing to do with Islam” and going toward the Mass shooting angle , Brokaw urging talk about mass murder that suggests he correctly is worried about what this will do to the election.

Update 6: Two key updates Publius Forum

As the news broke that there had been a mass shooting at a gay bar in Florida, the gay community instantly erupted in accusations that Christians were responsible for the murderous act.

Read the entire post, it will be unsurprising.

And Newsbusters:

On Sunday, even after the FBI hinted the presence of a link to radical Islam, the panel on ABC’s This Week blamed the terrorist attack at a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida on heated election rhetoric and guns in America. “I think we all ought to pause with what happened in Orlando today,” stated ABC’s Matt Dowd when asked if third party candidates could gain supporters, “And if we understand that all of the hateful thoughts become hateful words become hateful actions.”

Update seven: Just woke up after 4+ hours sleep and here is what I see:

Milo had done it

What sort of a man gets so angry by displays of affection, joy, and love that he chooses to gun down innocent people in a nightclub? A Muslim man. And if this one isn’t particularly religious, imagine how much worse the faithful must be.

America has to make a choice. Does it want gay rights, women’s emancipation, and tolerance for people of all nonviolent faiths — or does it want Islam?

From what I’m seeing online the choice of the left is Islam.

and the attempts at denial have been astounding

It’s amazing.
