Just after the Islamic Terror attack on the gay nightclub Pulse, Facebook, you know those guys who insist they are not censoring conservatives, decided to take strong action…against one of the most prominent opponents and a onetime target of Islamic terror Pam Geller
Well apparently Facebook has discovered that such actions directed against a person targeted for assassination by Islamic Terrorists in response to her critique of the mass slaughter of Gays by an islamic terrorist not only tends to draw unfavorable press but really doesn’t play well with a large segment of the population.
You spoke — you wrote, emailed, called, and YOU succeeded in getting my page and my privileges back. THANK YOU and thank Breitbart for raising a ruckus. Communicating and sharing information is the key to building an army of Davids to defeat the enormous enemedia myths and lies. Each one of my readers is a one-man media organization educating those in your sphere of influence. This is a war on freedom of speech in the age of jihad and sharia. And Facebook is key.
Now this would be just another story about a company backing off after a bad decision but what really got my goat was this quote from Breitbart’s coverage of Facebook’s volte face of the email Facebook sent to Pam after the reinstatement of both groups.
“A member of our team accidentally removed something you posted on Facebook. This was a mistake, and we sincerely apologize for this error. We’re since restored the content and you should now be able to see it.”
I don’t know what bothers me more, the sheer mendacity of that statement or the insult to my intelligence required to expect me to believe it.
On the bright side it’s very nice of Facebook for doing their best to turn my decision not to join facebook into a positive virtue.
Have the conservatives who attended the @facebook summit commented on their banning & reinstatement of @PamelaGeller anyone Bueller Bueller?
I do not wish to think, or speak, or write, with moderation. . . . I am in earnest — I will not equivocate — I will not excuse — I will not retreat a single inch — AND I WILL BE HEARD.

This post was originally scheduled for Tuesday at 1 PM with the Brussels attacks I’ve moved it to today I’d like to segregate the words I wrote Monday before I expand on them in light of the Brussels attack, first my original words…
Monday we wrote about the reality of Islam in Europe
Today Barack Obama is in Cuba, praising a brutal dictatorship in a way that I never thought I’d see a US president do in my lifetime.
The Center for a Free Cuba just received information directly from Cuba that Berta Soler, the leader of the Ladies in White, and her husband, former political prisoner Angel Moya, a few minutes ago were detained by Cuba’s political police.
Ms. Soler is one of the Cubans that President Obama is expected to meet. Apologists for the regime have said that no only she is a counterrevolutionary and an enemy of the people, but an ungrateful black woman.
Many Cubans have wondered publicly about the irony of a black American President meeting with a white Cuban military oligarchy that keeps most Cuban blacks at the very bottom of the economy. The majority of Cubans are not white, but the overwhelming majority of the ruling class is.
“President Castro, I think, has pointed out that in his view making sure that everybody is getting a decent education or health care, has basic security and old age, that those things are human rights as well. I personally would not disagree with him,” Obama said.
“But it doesn’t detract from some of these other concerns. And the goal of the human rights dialogue is not for the United States to dictate to Cuba how they should govern themselves, but to make sure that we are having a frank and candid conversation around this issue. And hopefully that we can learn from each other.”
Obama made the comment at a joint press conference with the Cuban Communist dictator.
All of this brings to mind one person.
On July 8th 2010 she released the book the Post american presidency The Obama Administration’s War on America
Geller bluntly said Barack Obama’s priorities are not American priorities, she bluntly warned us that in his upbringing and his priorities America is the villain and our enemies are the heroes.
She was laughed at, called a hate monger and widely insulted. And when radical islamists tried to kill her, the media blamed her and frankly in my opinion were disappointed that they failed.
As I watch the image of Barack Obama in Cuba celebrating one of the worst dictatorships in the history of the Western Hemisphere as they demand the return of Gitmo and attack the United States it would seem Pam Geller was understating the issue. We have not seen an American President so committed to the defeat of the United States since Jefferson Davis
If only we had listened to her in 2012.
I predict if our republic does not fall, 50 years from now after I’m dead and gone, people will look back at Pam Geller and speak about her the same way we now speak about William Lloyd Garrison. But if it happens in my lifetime instead, nobody will be more delighted than I.
Since I wrote those words but Before the Brussels attack Pam Geller put up a post saying this:
The Paris terrorist got most help from his neighbors, not ISIS. This is typical, but largely kept from the public. The media and cultural narrative runs counter to reality. There were marches and demonstrations of support for Muhammad Merah, the French Muslim who staged a series of Islamic attacks including opening fire on a Jewish Day school, as well as mowing down French soldiers. Every time there is a jihad attack, the Muslim community goes on the offense — accusing law enforcement of “entrapment” or blaming “islamophobia.” Never do we see the Muslim community calling for reform or looking inward to address the problem of violence and hatred in Islam.
I suspect many of those same people who aided and abetted the Paris Bomber to evade police will do their part to make sure authorities get no aid in capturing any of those involved in Brussels who might still be at large.
and I regret to say nothing I’ve seen in the last 24 hours made this prediction from Pam Geller from yesterday any less likely:
After these monstrous acts, world leaders proclaim “we are at war” and do nothing. And my colleagues and I continue to be blacklisted and marginalized, despite being right about it all.
If your Doctor or Mechanic was as deep in denial as to the condition of your health or your car you’d sue them for every cent they had.

There is one more point I would like to make concerning Linda Stasi’s Piece in the NY Daily News beyond what I said yesterday
There is a sentence in said piece where Stasi was condemning one of the terror victims from San Bernardino that our friends at Gateway Pundit highlighted.
The killer, however, became half of an Islamic Bonnie & Clyde, while the other died as the male equivalent of Pamela Geller.
This line speaks volumes and I submit and suggest that this was not a coincidence or just a bit of hyperbole, this was a dog whistle.
This was a message to potential Islamic killers that the New York Daily News and Linda Stasi believe that their sworn enemy Pamela Geller a US citizen who has spoken out about the dangers of Jihadist terrors are considered beyond the pale by them and that while it is required of them to offer pro-forma condemnation of any attempt to murder her, as far as they are concerned she has it coming.
It is a very public proclamation that while you might have a few disagreements on issues such as gay marriage (or more relevant concerning ISIS gays being tossed off of roofs) the NY Daily News and Linda Stasi are not completely unsympathetic to Muslim grievances and feeling that apparently drive them to murder.
Jake Tapper in a tweet yesterday noted the oddity of the tone that he is seeing concerning San Bernardino
A strange thing watching Americans express hyper-sensitivities about the dead murderers’ feelings. Stranger still when they’re journalists.
Jake I don’t think it’s strange at all. The whole concept of joining the “kill me last” caucus is about establishing to the potential killers you should not be considered a legitimate target. Of trying to preserve one own’s life, unlike the secondary target of the Daily News Piece Pam Geller who bravely asks the question Stasi, the Daily News and many journalists will not.
American Muslims for the umpteenth time are wailing about a fear of reprisals – reprisals that never actually come in reality, but are always the focus of media obsession after every jihad attack. The blood of American Christians and Jews is still on the floor and the walls of a Christmas party, and they are playing the victim. How savage.
Why aren’t American Muslims mourning our dead? Why aren’t American Muslims using their money and influence to call for an “enlightenment” in Islam, a purge of the Quran and the Islamic texts and teachings that call for jihad and genocide?
The difference is quite striking isn’t it.
I’m fond of life and I’m sure Pam is too, but may I never be so fond of life that I would treat those who would murder either a friend such as Pam Geller or a person I hold in contempt such as Cecile Richards, with sympathy simply to increase the odds of saving my own skin.
In an unusual legal move, the Obama administration has taken the legal side of the Palestinian Authority and Palestine Liberation Organization in a federal court case that American terrorism victims’ families had already won.”
via Ed Driscoll. Can we stop pretending that there is anything “unusual” Barack Obama’s Administration doing things that help people who want to kill Americans, jews & Christians.
Just a reminder Pam Geller and Robert Spencer saw this years ago and wrote about it over five years ago
At the time they were called extremists and hate mongers. Even when terrorists tried to murder them they were blamed for provoking them yet every day that goes by proves them right.
Iranian TV (Al-Alam) interviewed fighters from the Gaza branch of Fatah’s Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades, while standing inside an attack tunnel claimed to be 3.5 km long, and opening inside Israel. The purpose of the tunnel is to facilitate larger scale terror attacks from Gaza into Israel.
The announcement that Fatah’s Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades, internationally recognized as a terror organization, is asking for money from Iran comes at the same time that the PA has announced that Mahmoud Abbas will be vising Iran. As Palestinian Media Watch reported yesterday, senior PLO official Abbas Zaki, said that strengthening ties with Iran is “an inevitable step if we [the Palestinians] want to confront the Israeli occupation.”
Well it’s a good thing our President is fighting to keep tough sanctions on Iran to keep them from funding these terrorists who want to slaughter Jews… oh wait

Late Yesterday the news came that the in the attack in the Boston area on police, the primary target was not the police:
Usaamah Rahim, who was fatally shot after waving a military knife at law enforcement officers in Boston, was originally plotting to behead Pamela Geller, an activist and conservative blogger, law enforcement sources told CNN on Wednesday.
Watch the interview
and be either amazed at the cluelessness of Burnett or be shocked at her suggestion that an ad explicitly opposing Jihad is ground for attempted murder. It’s as if the MSM were doing their best Dalek Impersonation:
They targeted me for violating sharia blasphemy laws. They mean to kill everyone who doesn’t do their bidding and abide by them voluntarily. This is a showdown for American freedom. Will we stand against this savagery, or bow down to them and silence ourselves?
If there is one thing that actually surprises me are all these “informed” people seem either shocked that Pam is a target or act as if this is only a recent thing. For almost the entire time I’ve known her Pam has been a target traveling with bodyguards.
Perhaps Erin and the crew at CNN might be a tad better informed if they had read this interview with her I did in Aug of 2013
4. You seem to shrug off death threats the way people comb hair out of their eyes, where does this strength come from?
I am fighting for freedom. Life is not worth living without freedom. If we don’t fight now, when? When the death threat becomes …… law?
5. A rather somber question, if tomorrow your foes managed to silence you, other than the obvious answer (Robert Spencer’s Jihad Watch) where would recommend your readers go to stay informed about Radical Islam.
The Religion of Peace.com
I think that what really upsets people is Pam’s courage is a constant reminder of a lot of other people’s cowardice. Every day she stands up like a lion she reminds everyone else that they are mice. That’s why in my opinion if the Islamists manage to murder her may so called supporters of free speech will publicly deplore it and privately celebrate.
It’s a national disgrace.
Two thoughts in closing:
If Radical Islam ever conquers the few people who resist in secret will have pictures of Pam on their wall & copies of her writing hidden on flash drives to inspire them to fight on.
But when Radical Islam falls, and it eventually will, there will be a lot of people who collaborated with it who, with the threat of the blade gone, will suddenly go from sounding like mice to sounding like lions.
They had better hope that day comes after Pam is gone because if she is still alive she’ll not let them get away with it.
Remember the only way I can do this type of journalism is if enough people choose to kick in to support me making a nominal living doing it.

But for all the international critique of Israel as violent oppressors and for all the pols who have insisted buffer zones are needed to protect innocent abortion providers from ladies with rosaries praying near them, neither the anti Israel ads, nor the pro abortion ads nor any other were rejected on the grounds that they posed a safety hazard to the public.
he says current board members are “obviously in a bind because we know what happens when you criticize Muhammad, we know how some people react to that. I don’t think we ever had a situation [in the past] where someone threatened to blow up a bus.”
Graham says he’s not aware of any credible threat in response to the ad, but that, “We know worldwide what has happened to others who have gone down this path.”
What does that tell us? Since no other ad has caused this kind of reaction we must conclude that in the Metro’s opinion Muslims are so violent, so savage, so barbaric that the risk of a murderous response by members of the Religion of Peace™ exceeds the risk of offending any other group in the Metro’s history.
Three years ago I commented on the silence of the west on the exile of Molly Norris:
their unwillingness to question call on the west’s Muslims to speak against the violence coupled with their previous actions concerning the Mohammad Cartoons and their silence on Molly Norris suggests they believe the west’s Muslim’s are barbarians pretending to be civilized men and are afraid of angering them for fear of their own lives.
That makes the MSM by their own standards, both racists and cowards.
We must conclude from this decision that if western Muslim are in fact barbarians giving the pretence of being civilized men, said pretence is not very effective.
If I was a Muslim I’d be insulted by the implication that my religion is full of barbarians, unless of course I prefer the power of people deferring to me out of abject fear.
My Friend Pam Geller has often talked about the threat of radical Islamists to the west but it’s worth noting that for ISIS if a Christian or a Jew or an Atheist isn’t handy to kill any person who doesn’t worship God the right way, their way, will do, even other Muslims:
Pakistan’s Ismaili Shiite community is reeling from an attack Wednesday by gunmen that left at least 46 members of the religious minority dead in Karachi. The violence is the first of its kind directed at the community amid escalating militant threats against the predominantly Sunni Muslim country’s religious minorities, and was condemned by leaders including the Ismaili spiritual head, the Aga Khan.
The Aga Khan expressed his shock and sadness about the attack on Wednesday, condemning it as a “senseless act of violence against a peaceful community.” The attack was claimed by a splinter group of the Pakistani Taliban known as Jundallah, which pledged allegiance to the Islamic State late last year.
Now in fairness to these ISIS sympathizers they don’t consider them Muslims then they would consider me one and in their eyes are equally deserving of murder as I am.
“These killed people were Ismaili, and we consider them kafir (non-Muslim),” Jundallah spokesman Ahmed Marwat told Reuters. Gunmen on motorcycles reportedly boarded a commuter bus carrying around 60 Ismailis and, according to witness accounts, fired indiscriminately into the crowd.
I got this info via a local Imam who sends this press release from the Ahmadiyya Muslim community of America
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA condemns in the strongest terms the May 13, 2015 terrorist attack on the Ismaili Muslim community in Karachi, Pakistan. Early reports indicate at least 43 dead and 24 injured when six gunmen opened fire on busses carrying Ismaeli Muslims.
“We are deeply saddened by this horrible loss of innocent life and offer our most heartfelt condolences to the victims’ families,” said Wasim Malik, National Vice President of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA. “We pray for the safety of all in Pakistan during these troubling times.”
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA prays for the departed.
These are good words and well spoken by the Ahmadiyya Muslim community that’s I’ve writtenabout in thepast. While in the US they are often in the forefront because they epitomize peaceful Islam, in many Islamic countries outside the US they are not recognized as muslims, have been heavily persecuted & are not allowed under Saudi law in mecca. As people who have been persecuted they understand the pain of it.
But there is an important lesson here. As far as ISIS & radical Islamists are concerned, the Ismali, the Ahmadiyya and any other Muslim that doesn’t toe their line is the same as my Jewish friend Pam Geller or my Catholic Brother Robert Spencer, enemies worthy only of the blade or the gun.
I submit and suggest that we need to stop ISIS and all those radicals who cloak themselves in Islam. Those who ISIS would send to their 21st century equivalent of the gas chamber will not find their own murders and the murders of their families any more acceptable if the murders of Pam & Robert precede them.
1. Jesus Christ was executed by the Romans by the request of the Jewish authorities for what they considered blasphemy against their faith.
2. Bill O’Reilly wrote a best-selling book titled Killing Jesus
This is about as far off the Irony scale as you get. This is Chris Cuomo territory
BTW In honor of Mr. O’Reilly’s Biblical ignorance I offer $50 tip jar hitters the option of declining the standard Book premium for themselves & having me buy Bill O’Reilly a copy of the New testament which I’ll ship to the Fox News studio he broadcasts out of as a gift in your name.
While all of this blame on Pam Geller might bring back memories of the Jim Crow era when Newspapers & pols blamed attacks against blacks on civil right crusaders provoking otherwise peaceful people into violence which would beg the question: Does the media have any shame? (No they don’t) but I don’t think that’s the real lesson of the day.
I think the real lesson is for Christians, particularly protestants who believe in “Once saved always saved” to grab their guns bombs start shooting.
By the left’s argument we have established responsibility for religious violence lies at least in part, for the person who commits an act that acts provokes ones deeply held religious beliefs.
Well if drawing a cartoon for display at a private event what about a Gay pride parade? Or forcing someone to bake a cake for a Gay Wedding or forcing a JP to perform one? After all Sodomy is one of the sins that “Cry out to heaven for vengeance?” Wouldn’t taking vengeance for such a sin would be justified?
Or what about Abortion? This is the actual taking of an innocent human life, it’s murder. By the standard the media and left are using for Pam Geller not only did the late Dr. George Tiller have it coming but so does every person who works at, assists or aids in an abortion.
Now again for a Catholic like myself, this argument doesn’t hold water. One sin doesn’t excuse another and such violent act would be mortal sin risking one’s soul and requiring sacramental confession and repentance to avoid damnation.
But there are plenty of protestants believe in the doctrine of “once saved always saved” meaning that once you accept Christ all your sins are forgiven forever, even the ones you haven’t committed yet.
Such a person would have no religious fear of shooting up a Gay Wedding or blowing up an abortion clinic or plowing through a gay rights parade with a truck, after all they believe they’re already forgiven and furthermore thanks to our friends in the media they can can feel justified because of being culturally provoked.
It’s practically an invitation for Westboro Baptist to grab their guns & start shooting.
Can’t you just see kids on the playground or in school beating up members of the LGBT club using this argument, can you imagine once the fear of actual violence by well armed Christians is established how quickly universities will shut down events, speakers and clubs due to worries about violence? Can you see insurers refusing to insure or pay off policies on events or movies or exhibits because the responsibility for any violence against them is partly with those holding them?
For decades our friends on the left have painted Christians as violent barbarians to be feared now they are taking steps to make it so. I pray they are wise enough to see the end result of this new free speech standard they are setting and turn away from it before it’s too late.
And if not, May they be happy in the choice they have made and the environment they create.
Update 2: Jim Treacher asks what would happen with Islamists targeted a Gay Wedding:
What would happen to all these people insisting, “I’m all for freedom, but…”? What would happen to their sudden respect for religious sensitivities? How would they deal with it if the brutal murder of gay people we’re seeing in the Middle East was brought right to their doorstep? How would they reconcile the cognitive dissonance caused by two of their favorite groups of pet victims colliding in such an inconvenient fashion?
I think the answer would depend on two things:
1. Which group Islamists backers or Gay Activists would throw more money to them
2. Which group is more likely to cause them physical danger
Now I’ve read the Constitution and I never noticed that pesky “hate speech” exclusion, but in fairness he is citing a court case “Chaplinsky vs NH” where a person was arrested under a law that prevented
“any offensive, derisive or annoying word to any other person who is lawfully in any street or other public place,” or “call him by any offensive or derisive name,”
Allowing the broadest scope to the language and purpose of the Fourteenth Amendment, it is well understood that the right of free speech is not absolute at all times and under all circumstances. [n2] There are certain well defined and narrowly limited classes of speech, the prevention [p572] and punishment of which have never been thought to raise any Constitutional problem. [n3] These include the lewd and obscene, the profane, the libelous, and the insulting or “fighting” words — those which, by their very utterance, inflict injury or tend to incite an immediate breach of the peace. [n4] It has been well observed that such utterances are no essential part of any exposition of ideas, and are of such slight social value as a step to truth that any benefit that may be derived from them is clearly outweighed by the social interest in order and morality. [n5] Resort to epithets or personal abuse is not in any proper sense communication of information or opinion safeguarded by the Constitution, and its punishment as a criminal act would raise no question under that instrument.
“For them” suggests a flexible standard that one could easily use to silence opposition. If you can redefine what constitutes “hate speech” than you can silence anyone you wish at any time and justify it for the public good. Sounds positively totalitarian to me.
Over time federal courts have narrowed that ruling to make clear that it only applies, in Ken White’s words, to “face-to-face insults that would provoke an immediate violent reaction from a reasonable person.” In other words, says Instapundit, a “personal invitation to brawl.”
And even fighting words are not what they once were:
There are indeed limits on the First Amendment; the Supreme Court has held that “fighting words” and incitements to specific and imminent violence are not protected. But as recently as 2011, the Court ruled 8-1 that the Westboro Baptist Church had a First Amendment right to picket a military funeral and wave signs that read “You’re going to hell” and “Thank God for dead soldiers.”
The word “offensive” is not to be defined in terms of what a particular addressee thinks. . . . The test is what men of common intelligence would understand would be words likely to cause an average addressee to fight
Now let’s apply the standards I’ve quoted to the events in Garland which is what Cuomo was really trying to tar here..
Rather than being on the public street this was a ticketed event at a closed venue. The subject of the illustrations in question was not only not present but as he has been dead for 14 centuries is beyond making personal objections.
“Would a reasonable person be offended by this image?”
or as the court put it back in the 40’s:
The test is what men of common intelligence would understand would be words likely to cause an average addressee to fight
Would this image cause the average man to fight?
the answer is clearly no, although I suspect that our media are doing their best to convince the common man that it is.
And believe me they are trying to do so with a lot more than just this.
Update: Apparently Isis has defined “hate speech” for them.
ISIS appears to declare war on controversial blogger Pamela Geller on Tuesday in an ominous online message claiming it has fighters across America ready to attack “any target we desire.”
The threat, posted on anonymous message board JustPasteIt, singles out Geller, who helped plan a Prophet Muhammad cartoon contest that was attacked by two gunmen in Garland, Texas, over the weekend. ISIS claimed responsibility for the shooting early Tuesday, marking the first time the terror group called an American attack one of its own, though lawmakers believe the two men were influenced by the group, not guided directly by it.
Under the Chris Cuomo standard they are perfectly within their rights.
Exit question: In the war between Pam Geller & ISIS which side will the media & the left take?
Update 2: You know your point is pretty bad when evenSalon & Greg Greenwald are running rings around you.
