To wit:

New York City’s annual Inner Circle Dinner brought New York politicians together for an evening of food and fun but also for stiff politicians performing awkward skits. Such was the case when former New York Senator Hillary Clinton and New York City mayor Bill de Blasio were on stage. Clinton poked fun at de Blasio for his endorsement coming a little late in the game for Clinton’s taste. “I just have to say thanks for the endorsement, Bill. Took you long enough,” she said to laughter.

“Sorry Hillary, I was running on C.P. time,” de Blasio responded to a mixture of chuckles and gasps. CPT is known as “colored people time” the stereotype that African Americans generally tell as a reason for being late to an event or a traditionally black event not beginning on time.

The title of the piece is: Hillary Clinton and Bill de Blasio set off cringing with painful joke about ‘colored people time’

Cringing? If this was said by Donald Trump or Ted Cruz nobody would be talking about “cringing” they would be talking about institutional racism and there would be demands for apologies all around.

However a “D” next to your name not only means never having to say you’re sorry it also means that nobody in the media will ever ask you to be.

Here is the question: Will Bernie Sanders or his supporters call them on this?

When I saw this story:

Portland Community College has designated April “Whiteness History Month” (WHM), an “educational project” exploring how the “construct of whiteness” creates racial inequality.

And this description of what Portland Community College is doing with it

“‘Whiteness History Month: Context, Consequences, and Change’ is a multidisciplinary, district-wide, educational project examining race and racism through an exploration of the construction of whiteness, its origins, and heritage,” PCC states on its website. “Scheduled for the month of April 2016, the project seeks to inspire innovative and practical solutions to community issues and social problems that stem from racism.”

The WHM site makes clear that the project is not a “celebratory endeavor” like heritage months, but is rather “an effort to change our campus climate” by “[challenging] the master narrative of race and racism through an exploration of the social construction of whiteness.” (“Challenging the master narrative,” PCC explains, “is a strategy within higher education that promotes multicultural education and equity.”)

My first thought was instantly “Class action suit waiting to happen”

There are specific laws concerning Racial Discrimination and also very likely rules at the college concerning “hostile work / educational environments”. Our friends on the left have been pushing these rules for decades.

What happens if white students, white workers and white administrators decide to launch discrimination suits based on those laws?

I think the results of such suits might be very interesting, don’t you?

On an unrelated note it’s gratifying that the students at this school are so advanced on math, english and all the important disciplines that can get you a job that they have time for this kind of thing

It’s 24 hours since Vester Williams decided to take his racial grievances to a lethal ending murdering two people he believed wronged him, shooting a third because she was there filming it, facebook and tweeting it and then finally shooting himself.

Many of our friends on the left from Hillary Clinton to much less well known people didn’t let this crisis or the bodies go to waste, instantly using it as a meme to push their agendas. While that was both unexpected and despicable it was a totally expected result as was the sudden pivot of certain people once it was discovered that the shooter was a black man.

Additionally because of his perceived racial grievance that was his motive I suspect many people, who have for the last several years have been radicalized by a concerted effort by certain people to push racial division in this country for both their own monetary & political profit, will find themselves justifying and or excusing acts that would be normally be unquestionably condemned either on social media or in private.

While all of that is disgusting there is going to be one other result of this murder that while it will get little or no discussion is going to have a lasting effect in business in general and in newsrooms in particularly all over the country.

From this point on if you are a in a newsroom and someone cries “racial discrimination” the name of Vester Flanagan will come to mind and that news director, that manager and the others in that workplace will ask themselves: “Is there any chance that this person will crack and try to kill me?”.

Even worse thanks to the very public nature of this crime this thought is going to extend far beyond newsrooms. Just as the riots in Ferguson will be on the mind of every chain considering opening in an urban neighborhood every hiring manager who saw this story will have this in mind when a person is involved.

Now logically this is not a common thing, this is not a likely thing and such a reaction is not rational, but it is very human.

I’d hate to be a person of color seeking a job in that atmosphere.

While in his mind Vester Williams was striking a blow to right a racial wrong, and justified his actions and murder accordingly (likely considering the person being interviewed as collateral damage). This is a horrible evil thing, but the long term damage he will be doing, particularly to other professional young black men and women is incalculable.

This is the gift that Vester Williams has given to every black employee in every newsroom in the country and beyond. It’s not fair, but neither is life.

…then on every network you would be seeing activists decrying Parker and Ward as the lowest of the low. Stating they were emblematic of the Racism in media and demanding they be dismissed. On twitter you would be seeing people calling them bigots at best and likely a whole lot worse and both of them would have become so radioactive as to be practically unemployable and Flanagan would not only have been hailed as a heroic whistleblower, a symbol of black oppression he would have been invited to speak at events all over the nation, and any person who doubted his story or defended either Ward or Parker they would have immediately been denounced as racists both online and in media.

That would have been the end result if Vester Flanagan has shot off his mouth rather than his gun.

Keep that in mind the next time someone is so quick to cry racism and be ready to destroy someone.

Twitchy reported that fans of the Black Lives matter movement decided to poke fun at the “all lives matter” resonse using he death of Cecil the Lion:

This week, though, in the wake of the outrage over the killing of Cecil the lion, a number of activists have decided to swap #BlackLivesMatter for #AllLionsMatter. Honestly, #BlackLivesMatter plus a sense of humor is a pretty potent combination.

However there is an incredible irony that is revealed in this post at Althouse emphasis mine

“Why are the Americans more concerned than us?” said Joseph Mabuwa, a 33-year-old father-of-two cleaning his car in the center of the capital. “We never hear them speak out when villagers are killed by lions and elephants in Hwange.”

Apparently the black population of Zimbabwe have noticed that American activists are very selective about which black lives matter.  Particularly when compared to a lions.

While a social media mob has Dr Walter Palmer fearing for his life, it was only five months ago that Zimbabwe dictator Robert Mugabe was served a lavish feast that included lion meat and a mass slaughter of baby elephants and other endangered animals.

Yesterday the big news was the indictment of police officer Ray Tensing for the killing of Samuel DuBose

It’s certainly a legit story and Samuel DuBose’s names deserves attention but let me ask you something.

Do you recognize any of these names?

Taylor, Marvin Coston Jr, Dante Barnes, Darrius Johnson, Tyrell Hardy, James Ricardo Smith, Gregory Higgins, Gary Jackson, Eric Forrester, Antonio anderson, Jacqueline Parker , Gerald Thompson, Lamont Randall Jr., John F. Ok let me make sure I understand this:

Despite objective biological facts, the media and our culture demand that because a man by the name of Jenner insists and imagines himself to be woman, pays money for hormone treatment to increase female hormones into his body, and changes his physical appearance using makeup and clothing to portray himself as a woman, we are not required to accept it as fact. Furthermore our cultural elites insist that not doing so is a sign of closed minded bigotry.

HOWEVER

If despite objective biological facts, a woman by the name of Dolezal insists and imagines herself to be black that’s different story:

Rachel Dolezal serves as chair of the independent commission, in addition to her work as an adjunct faculty member at Eastern Washington University and president of the NAACP local chapter. On her application to serve on the commission, she identified herself as African-American. But public records, including Dolezal’s own birth certificate, list her biological parents as Ruthanne and Lawrence Dolezal of Montana. The Dolezals told KXLY Thursday that Rachel is their biological daughter and that they are both white.

Hold on a second here, what do facts or a birth certificate have to do with this?

If a person physically alters themselves to remove male or female organs and has plastic surgery to create the appearance the other sex not only does the law allow them to be considered the opposite sex despite the biological & DNA evidence but they’re allowed in some cases to alter their birth certificates to reflect the sex they claim to because despite the objective evidence of biology gender is a “social construct” then why would not race be also a social construct? After all compared to the biological differences between men and woman the biological differences between various races are practically non-existent.

Furthermore most of us can not trace our ancestry back to the beginning of time race so who is to say that there is not a different racial ancestry in our past then what is physically apparent?

Given these facts It’s apparent that anyone who is unwilling to accept MS Dolezal transracial identity is properly identified as a bigot who is trapped in the evil western cultural racial identity paradigm.

Because if the NAACP and the left refuse to do so then they might have to admit that there is such a thing as objective fact and that admission would be too horrible for them to contemplate.

One of the biggest problems for the left in election 2016 will be not having Barack Obama on the ballot.

Given the abject failure of his policies one would think that this is a good thing but it was not just conservatives staying home but black voters determined that the first black president not be considered a one term failure that even though he failed them dramatically they turned up in numbers to push him over the finish line.

But now with Hillary Clinton the likely nominee and all the alternatives being elderly white people (Elizabeth Warren is just as old as Hillary) how do you turn out the black vote?

Police in riot gear made 71 arrests Saturday as protesters stormed the streets of Cleveland after a judge found a white city police officer not guilty in the deaths of two unarmed black suspects killed in a barrage of police gunfire.

The protesters gathered in downtown Cleveland and west side neighborhoods after the acquittal of patrolmen Michael Brelo.

The Judge in the Cleveland Case before reading his verdict said:

“The verdict should be no cause for a civilized society to celebrate or riot.”

However the need to create a racial division prior to a national election to make sure the right people get power, that’s another story.

What do you think the Soros group was paying protesters, just for the fun of it?

I could be dead wrong, but as our friends on the left say, “Never let a crisis go to waste” but perhaps the line should be:  If you can’t find a crisis to exploit, make one.

And if society and the people you are supposedly helping pay the price, what’s the difference?  It’s all about keeping power, and it’s not like we believe in anything anyways.

Yesterday there was joy in Baltimore and the cause of justice as six police officers were charged with crimes ranging from 2nd degree murder to manslaughter in the death of a person in custody.

But there was an even greater triumph for the cause of equality as it was revealed that 50% of the officers arrested were black and 16% were women demonstrating that at least in the case of police negligence (I say negligence because the charges involve inaction of not securing or aiding their prisoner rather than action such as beating him)  blacks and women have apparently reached parity with white officers in the left’s meme of oppression of people of color.

However this development has not been met with joy but with concerning from Joan Walsh of Salon:

I must confess being a mere conservative the idea that Blacks and women by the regular association with white men might “absorb” their evil racial attitudes of them never occurred to me.

But this should not be a surprise as this has been seen before in the third world as places like Africa & India took on some of the traits of those who colonized them (such as christianity) that still result in oppression today.

This is a serious problem and even more terrifying if you consider that police officers go through rigorous training, both physical and mental in order to do their job properly.

If such highly trained people are subject to such absorption how much more vulnerable would school children of any age, workers or even the average homeowner in a neighborhood be to this syndrome? After all the phrase “acting white” didn’t come out of thin air!

Well we as a just and liberal society must do all we can to stop this in its tracks.  .

1. Classification:

The first step of course is to classify this social disease.  How can we stop it if we don’t know what it is.  As we can trace and document this absorption of “white attitudes” to the days of colonization the logical name is

Contagious Oppression Of The Indigenous Entities Syndrome

or “Cooties” for short.

This must be immediately recognized by any and all medical and psychological organizations nationwide.  Any such organization or that would deny the existence of “COOTIES” should be defunded and any such individual denied a degree or certification in any medical or psychological field.

2.  Education:

Having named this social disease and recognized it.  The next step is the necessary federal grants to institutions of higher learning to study and combat this syndrome.

I would suspect the lions share of such grants would need to go to racial and gender studies programs as they are the most sensitive to even the slightest signs of oppression by white males.

And of course community groups should not be ignored, ACORN and other organizations should be fully funded by the government to make sure activists on the street are trained to recognize  “COOTIES” wherever they may be.

This will of course require higher taxes, particularly on corporations but isn’t it worth it to stop the dreaded scourge of “COOTIES”?

3.  Prevention:

While the full funding of ongoing research is a positive step it is not enough.  We need to stop COOTIES in its tracks.  So until there is a cure for COOTIES there is only one thing to do.

It is necessary to separate those vulnerable to COOTIES from those who carry the disease. Therefore in order to protect people of color it will be necessary to educate such people in an environment completely free of White Males, from preschool days to the end of higher education.

And given this solution it we might take the opportunity to nip the entire “rape culture” business in the bud by educating young women in a safe space completely free from males of all colors. This will minimize the potential for any trace of COOTIES to reach them.

All of this will of course require even more government spending but it’s a small price to pay to make sure the most vulnerable of us are not exposed to COOTIES.

As for the protection of general public. Until generations can be carefully taught to avoid White Males and the COOTIES they carry it’s clear that laws will simply have to be passed to protect the vulnerable public from this scourge.

Eventually, with government funding,  alternatives in business, transportation and housing will exist.  This is the ideal as it will mean people shopping, traveling, buying a house or going out to eat will never in their lifetime be exposed to those carrying COOTIES.

Until that can be achieved laws will have to be passed to protect the public NOW!  We must as a compassionate and diverse society ensure that a person going to a store, traveling on a bus, buying a house or even sitting at a lunch counter will have minimal exposure, if any, to white male carries of COOTIES and severe penalties must be imposed on any who might break these barriers and risk the spread of this dread syndrome to our loved ones.

I would like to thank Joan Walsh and the entire Salon staff for highlighting the problem of Contagious Oppression Of The Indigenous Entities Syndrome and remind you that if you oppose any of these sensible solutions to stop it, not only are you a racist, bigot, sexist, homophobe, transaphobe hater but are clearly a carrier of COOTIES who must be removed from the general population at once!

Two months ago Black Lives Matter protesters in Worcester closed down traffic in Kelly Square.  Now they’re kinda miffed that they are getting summons to court for doing so:

 

On Jan. 19, protesters staged a “Black Lives Matter” protest in Worcester’s Kelley Square that included blocking traffic. City officials investigated, and more than two months later issued court summons for four of some 40 participants, charging each with being a disorderly person and disturbing the peace.

 

The Communities United Collective is crying oppression

The Communities United Collective says the city is “threatening charges as a platform to intimidate the protestors and silence the voices of protest in Worcester,” and has “openly condemned those who participate in non-violent, open protest against city policies…”

Oh my GOD! The oppression, the humiliation! 10% of the protesters have gotten SUMMONS TO COURT.

That’s a disruption to their busy lives unlike guys like this with the leisure time to write long letters:

I would like to take this moment to congratulate the race hustlers of the White House and elsewhere.

Your entire gravy train is completely dependent on a clash of the races, a sense of entitlement and grievance, mutual suspicion and distrust and encouraging a cultural division to the point where black citizens will believe the law will not protect them, police will not be inclined to risk their lives to police black neighborhoods and white citizens simply not care.

If you wanted this to be the goal the latest shooting of police after the President pushed Ferguson at the Selma event and the White House did all it could to distract from the fact that the were unable to charge officer Wilson & that “Hands up Don’t shoot” was unsubstantiated.

Granted that if you’re a criminal who preys on the black community you’ll do pretty good but if you are a race hustler who will now be able to use the resulting division to stay on the gravy train for decades.

I suspect that those who have been looking in vain for that elusive tea party murderer

There is no sin that God won’t forgive but I suspect a lot of the people in both communities who will suffer because of this are going to take a lot more convincing.

Our review, which is being led by Richard Esposito working closely with NBCUniversal General Counsel Kim Harris, is ongoing, but I think it is important to take you through our thought process in coming to this decision.

While on Nightly News on Friday, January 30, 2015, Brian misrepresented events which occurred while he was covering the Iraq War in 2003. It then became clear that on other occasions Brian had done the same while telling that story in other venues. This was wrong and completely inappropriate for someone in Brian’s position.

Some at NBC News while regretting the decision felt it was necessary to upkeep the standards of the place:

Friends of the anchor are torn between their sympathy for his ordeal and concern about the damage he inflicted at 30 Rock.

It is “difficult” to report on the story, Matt Lauer said on “Today,” because “Brian is not only a colleague but a really good friend.”

“We care a lot about Brian,” co-host Savannah Guthrie said. “That’s what makes it so hard. And we care about this place, the standards of NBC News. That’s what they are trying to balance here.”

Oddly enough the revelation that Barack Obama was lying from the start about his position on Gay Marriage doesn’t cause Guthrie or Lauer to worry one bit,

The president said David Axelrod, his former senior adviser, was “mixing up my personal feelings with my position on the issue” when he said Obama publicly backed civil unions rather than gay marriage because it was more politically palatable.

“I always felt that same-sex couples should be able to enjoy the same rights, legally, as anybody else and so it was frustrating to me not to, I think, be able to square that with what were a whole bunch of religious sensitivities out there,” Obama said in an interview with BuzzFeed.

Of course we figured this out around here half a decade ago:

 

I’ve touched on this subject myself but there is one overriding factor that is ignored and is a paradox.

His “opposition” to gay Marriage only helps him among blacks because they think he is telling the truth.

His “opposition” to gay marriage doesn’t hurt him among liberals because they don’t believe he is telling the truth.

These are two mutually exclusive statements, As long as liberals are convinced he is selling a bill of good to the black community (as I do) and the black community continues to buy this bill of goods he is fine.

Given this president’s record on being forthright I presume that our liberal friends fully endorse Barack Obama’s lies, after all, liberalism has to misrepresent itself in order to get elected.

What kind of respect does this show to the American voter?

Don’t disrespect our president, black lawmakers tell Netanyahu

The first black president disrespecting the Black Voter by lying to them for years, that perfectly fine.

Irony Alert #2 Some lies at MSNBC are apparently more equal than others:

if NBCUniversal cared to examine the televised claims Sharpton has made about his work as an informant, the company’s newly formed internal affairs division could review hundreds of pages of FBI documents chronicling Sharpton’s work as “CI-7,” short for confidential informant #7, and they could track down members of the FBI-NYPD organized crime task force for which Sharpton surreptitiously recorded his meetings with gangsters.

And company brass would certainly want to review the first story to expose Sharpton as a snitch, a January 1998 Newsday piece authored by a Murderers Row of reporters: Bob Drury, Robert Kessler, Mike McAlary, and Richard Esposito. If that last guy’s name rings a bell, well, it is probably because Esposito–now senior executive producer of NBC’s investigative unit–is heading the network’s review of Williams’s Iraq War and Hurricane Katrina claims.

Perhaps NBC was informed by the Reverend Al that in his protestant denomination there is an affirmative action exemption from the “Thou Shalt not Bear False Witness” commandment? Of course given media ignorance of scripture he could actually tell MSNBC this and they just might buy it.

Yesterday we noted Insty’s point showing how the police showdown illustrates that a lot of policing is about generating revenue and wondered if this was an opening for the various protesters:

If someone of the anti-police left wanted to expand their base, they’d be arguing that all of this amounts to a TAX on individuals and ask:  “Do you support arbitrary Taxation?” and I say “arbitrary” because the slowdown illustrates that these fines can be waived and ignored at will.

In theory this would be an excellent line of attack.  It illustrates government overreach and I dare say quite a few libertarians would likely be nodding their heads in agreement if the point was pressed.  This has the potential to divide the now pro-cop public, who appreciate the danger the police face but like most people find low level enforcement of parking & traffic rules and the fines that come with it an annoyance.

However this is something the protesters will not do and in fact dare not do.

Not because it wouldn’t be an effective point, but because it would!

You see most big cities are run by the left, both at the top, and in the infrastructure of the bureaucracy.  Our protesting friends understand they and their allies are the people who benefit the most from the spending that is financed by these dollars and it’s a piece of those dollars that those leading the protests are actually after.

What would be the point of attracting a bunch of icky libertarians in their crusade against the police if it simply makes the point that government is too big and strongarming citizens when it’s those very strong arm tactics that are the bread and butter of the Sharpton’s of the world?  And if such a realization spreads among the public the result for the left would be disaster.

No much better to do without the libertarians an proceed to the inevitable endgame that will play out like so:

1.  The city will buy off the protesters with expensive programs that will coincidently employ & empower the friends and allies of the protest “leaders”.

2.  The protest leaders will announce that the city is “moving in the right direction and pull back their protests until the next such opportunity arises.

3.  The cities needing next to placate the police who they alienate, will offer major contract concessions and policies to help protect them so they are able to safely go back to writing tickets to help  finance all this new spending.

Of course the money for all of these changes is going to have to come from somewhere so watch the fines and taxes increase to pay for both.

Thus in the end the bureaucracy, the protesters and the police will all be satisfied.  Only the taxpayers and the mothers of the black youth who will continue to be gunned down in the cities will continue to pay the piper.

Three Stories from this weekend that should get more press:

 

Dateline Mall of America Minnesota:  No protesters were beaten or shot Saturday as Police didn’t viciously attack mobs of those who occupied the Mall of America protesting police violence.

Protesters reportedly didn’t see a bodies dropping as a policeman didn’t strike them repeatedly in the head with their nightsticks, nor were there wounded and bleeding protesters as they were not shot and bloodied by police as other protesters from the Mall of America were removed after protesting police violence.

Store after store  did not have windows shatters as police didn’t open fire spreading terror among protesters and shoppers like, making Christmas at the Mall a black day that would be remembered for Generations.

The Governor of Minnesota did not promise to appoint a task force to investigate the carnage that didn’t happen nor offer his heartfelt sympathies to the families of those who were not killed.

 

Dateline NYC:  Governor Cuomo of NY did not declare Martial law in NYC and call out the national guard as police by the tens of thousand did not refuse to report to work or vowing not to patrol black areas as long as Mayor DiBlasio remains in office.

The Governor didn’t make an impassioned speech to call for calm as crime didn’t run rampant as police didn’t abandon precinct after precinct in NYC allowing thugs and criminals to simply run wild throughout the city putting citizens, particularly in minority areas, under siege.

Elderly women were not afraid to leave their homes go to the market due to the absence of officers as cars didn’t burn throughout their street while youths and gang members couldn’t take advantage of the non absence of police to enforce their will upon the non abandoned communities through the city.

Nobody reported the scene was like a war zone with the police still there.

 

Dateline Tarpon Springs Florida:  Residents of the Glen’s Eureka Apartments on Grand Boulevard in Tarpon Springs are not picking up the pieces as armed police didn’t roust them and destroy their homes in an orgy of revenge for the murder of a police officer who was answering a noise ordinance complaint.

Their children were not crying as the police and their supporters didn’t force us from their homes nor set them on fire in retaliation for the murder of their brother officer.

There was not a scene of devastation as community leaders did not deplore the violence that didn’t happen nor were shelters set up for the dozens of families that still have their homes and the police chief didn’t call a press conference to promise a complete investigation of the non-existent devastation.

 

What is the point of this piece?  Only this, if the police were even slightly what the press, the Al Sharpton and the Protesters claimed they were, any of these headlines could have happen.

Hasn’t it occurred to any of the people who have been talking so much smack about cops that there is a reason why this stuff not only hasn’t happened but will not happen anytime soon?

Perhaps the young men and women in $40K+ a year college might consider questions like this before they buy the narrative being sold to them.

Yesterday afternoon while people were busy protesting against police at the Mall of America two police officers in Brooklyn were murdered execution style.

They were not in the process of violating tax laws passed by liberals in the state of New York like Eric Garner, they had not just robbed or muscled a store owner like Michael Brown, they were simply in their car doing the job they were hired to do.  Protecting the public and were killed for it.

There are many who have for ratings & or  financial and political gain lionized those who have violated the law and demonized those who enforce it over the last several week and months.  They have done so publicly and proudly.

So when I see self-serving tweets like this:

and this

and statements like this from the AG’s office:

“This was an unspeakable act of barbarism, and I was deeply saddened to hear of the loss of these two brave officers in the line of duty,” Holder said in a statement. “On behalf of all those who serve in the United States Department of Justice, I want to express my heartfelt condolences to the officers’ loved ones and colleagues.”

You will forgive me if I tend to doubt their sincerity

I don’t hold the ignorant & naive  college students who apparently were not taught by their parents the realities of life nor do I blame the ignorant on twitter who are cheering this, for I expect no better from them.

The people I have quoted above, however,  are public figures and those figures,  elected and appointed,  should know better.  (I submit DID know better yet charted their course anyway).

Mayor DiBlasio & Barack Obama were lawfully elected and Eric Holder lawfully appointed to their public positions.  The people of the United States and New York City choose them therefore they must live with the consequences, however outrageous,  of these choices, unless they choose to remove themselves from office (Mr. Holder resigned months ago but still holds his office pending the confirmation of his replacement)  we are pretty much stuck with them.

However Al Sharpton hasn’t been elected to anything, he is a TV host on the MSNBC network (Currently owned by cable giant Comcast) and MSNBC has chosen to give him a daily show on their network.

I submit and suggest that by giving his a public platform on their network MSNBC has endorsed his statements and actions of the last several months, and if they continue to do so they implicitly endorse the events of Saturday in NYC.

You might say, “But DaTechGuy Mr. Sharpton has 1st Amendment rights” indeed he does, but said right does not extend to programing on MSNBC, if that was the case then I would demand one myself.

I call upon the network to immediately “suspend” Mr. Sharpton and remove his show from their lineup.

It is their network and they of course have the perfect right to ignore my call for this action, conversely I have the perfect right to express my opinion that a failure to do so is a direct endorsement of the events of Saturday afternoon by MSNBC and by their parent company Comcast and consumers should act accordingly.

Or perhaps you might choose to contact their advertisers, I’m sure they must be delighted to have their brands associated with the face of the anti-police movement at this time.

Closing thought, If Comcast decides the Rev Al is a liability & removes him from MSNBC & said reverend’s followers quit the network in protest, would anyone be left watching?

Update 2nd potential murder thwarted when gun jams:

A second slay attempt on NYPD officers was narrowly avoided early Sunday when a gunman’s weapon jammed as he took aim at two cops outside a Bronx housing project, sources said.

Investigators grabbed the wannabe cop killer after he dropped his gun and ran into the Millbrook Houses on Saint Anns Ave. in Port Morris, sources said.

Yup no pattern here.

However, reasonable people can disagree with Ingemi as to whether or not Sharpton should be dumped in the rapidly escalating wake of the violent protests Sharpton helped gin up. As with past anchors Keith Olberman at his must lunatic, Alec Baldwin at his most violent, and Martin Bashir at his most scatological, Al Sharpton is the spokesman for MSNBC — and Comcast — right now. After all, Sharpton is “all the things” its network president thinks “that MSNBC is.” as the network’s president says. And he’s a powerful daily reminder of just much hatred lurks in the hearts of the left:

A fair point, but I think prosperity trumps it, additionally the more we make the unacceptable acceptable the more we enable the next Sharpton, much better to make vice unacceptable and the fall of Sharpton might generate courage in those who appease him.

We need to defeat him and make him feel defeated.

Haven’t we all been told, for many years now, that the rural parts of America where people vote Republican are hives of racial hatred? The last time I checked Census Bureau reports, more than half of black Americans lived in the South, a place of conservative tradition where nearly every governor and U.S. Senator is a Republican. And yet we see that in 2014, a black man was choked to death by a cop in New York City, one of the most liberal places in the entire country.

Furthermore isn’t it odd that so many young black men keep getting shot in cities that Democrats have controlled for generations?

“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.”

I’ve told the following story before but it’s worth repeating in this context.

Many years ago I had a friend who a married man had expressed an interest in.  She was also interested in him and approached me for advice.

Now one would assume that the obvious answer when approached by such a question is:  “He’s a married man” , but the very nature of the request made suggested that the argument:  “Sleeping with a married man is wrong.” wasn’t going to be effective in talking her out of it.

So as the moral argument was either going to fail or would send her to someone else who might give effective advice I switched to plan B and asked a question that apparently had not occurred to her..

“If a wife and child aren’t enough to keep him from going after another younger woman, what’s going to hold him back when he finds someone more attractive or younger?”

This argument which appealed to self interest, was effective.

This instantly came to mind when I saw that yet another college official is apologizing for saying “All lives matter” as if stating that fact is “disgraceful pushback” rather than the politically correct “Black Lives matter”.

And there are those who are angry at the very suggestion that someone would tweet #AllLivesMatter

Given that this is America in 2014 and not either the Middle East or America the era of Jim Crow or Slavery era one would normally respond to a person deciding the idea that publicly declaring “All lives matter” is offensive by saying the whole concept of America is all lives matter.

It’s embedded in the ideals of the Declaration “All men are created equal”, reaffirmed by guarantee of Freedom of religion, the idea that are equal before the law, the concept that all presumed innocent when charged with a crime & entitled to representative or even the law stating an emergency room must take any person regardless of ability to pay and of course if one believes in Christianity all equal before the eyes of God.

But the fact that a person would object or apologize for a statement that all lives have equal value suggests that any such argument would be fruitless since said objection by its very nature implies lack of respect for both the moral code and the history of the nation.

Therefore the best move to persuade such people that this is a bad idea is to illustrate to those involved that said objection are not in their own self interest, for this there is a single point to be made illustrated by a point made by this tweet:

You see the problem with using your current cultural dominance and/or power to advance a race specific meme is you never know when you won’t have said power.

Six years Barack Obama was considered the second coming, the man who was going to fix the world’s economy, save the planet from global warming and make everyone love us. He was so beloved that he was given the Nobel Peace Prize just for being him and any critique of him constituted an action beyond the pale.

Six years later members of his own party are doing their best not to be photographed with him.

Six years ago the decision to have the (then) gay married bishop Gene Robinson at the inauguration along with Pastor Rick Warren was controversial.

Less than six years later simply voting the wrong way on Gay Marriage was enough to force the resignation of one of the inventors of the modern net from Mozilla.

When you don’t deal in absolutes in law, morality etc you take the risk that eventually you will find yourself hunted by the same type of rules that you impose as a fellow named Robespierre discovered.

So think long and hard before you choose to decide all lives don’t matter because you may not always have the power to select which ones do. And honestly do you really trust your opponent to make that decision when it comes to your life?

Exit question: Does anyone else find it odd that a lot of the types who are tweeting #Blacklivesmatter doesn’t extend that concept to unborn black life?

As Ferguson continues to be in the headlines over Michael Brown (and  Zemir Begic continues to be out of them) there was a story last week that got very little attention.

It was only fitting that the heart and soul of the Lunenburg High team, Jeremy Nash, ended his high school football career in style.

Nash, a talented senior quarterback, put the Blue Knights on his back, throwing for 146 yards and two touchdowns and rushing for 131 yards on 18 carries en route to an 18-13 victory over St. Bernard’s on Friday evening in the 17th overall meeting between the Thanksgiving-week rivals.

Ok so two high school teams who have a mere seventeen year history played on Thanksgiving weekend (delayed because of last week’s storm).  This kind of thing goes in small towns all over the nation.  Hmm why on earth would a high school football game between two teams who haven’t even played that long be worth mentioning.

 

Because last year at this time newspapers were all over the Town of Lunenburg

The football team had been accused of teasing a biracial football player on the team over his race culminating in “Knights don’t need Niggers” spraypainted onto foundation of the family’s home.

Well this story went viral.  SI covered it, Good Morning America covered it, the governor got involved, there were op eds all over concerning the racism is Lunenburg .  The FBI was called in and the football team was made to forfeit the rest of the season along with the Thanksgiving game.

However once investigations took place, it turns out once the FBI started to investigate, the football team was quickly cleared and suddenly the parents became suspects. At the time I recorded this commentary.

One of the things you notice about graffiti is it’s never really neat or ordered, but this graffiti was right along the stone foundation, not a drop was on the siding that would have been much harder to clear

As soon as it became apparent that this was a hoax, the national media that was so interested in talking about Lunenburg decided it wasn’t newsworthy anymore.

You see the primary suspect in this story is no longer the largely white football team in a small town but the mother of the supposed target of the racist graffiti. It is no longer a story about racism, it is about yet another race hoax. If the team had still been the suspect and racism been the theme and the DA a republican the decision to not press charges would be a source of national outrage and coverage but remember the rule we stated yesterday.

I submit & suggest it’s because all of these stories involve Democrats and their national memes and Democrats understand that when it comes to such stories MSM immediately recognizes them as unnewsworthy.

So like the Democrat combatant in the war on women currently doing his legislative work behind bars, the race hoaxer who turned her community upside down with a phony race card and the Democrat’s DA decision not to prosecute are simply not newsworthy.

On the bright side the NE Patriots did the team a good turn a few months later:

The Lunenburg football team was treated to a private tour of the Patriots Hall Of Fame and welcomed with open arms, a change from last fall when the team was demonized and some players called racists.

As fingers were being pointed at the team, their season was canceled.

It turned out they were anything but racists.

After a lengthy investigation, the district attorney said no charges would be filed, even as police called the victim’s mother a ‘strong suspect’ in the case.

And even though the police and Eric Holder’s Justice Department both revealed that the family that caused the town to lose it’s thanksgiving game, placed a scarlet “R” on every player on the football team and on the town in general in national and international eyes, not a single fire was set, not a single business was ransacked, not a single rock was thrown at the police station for not avenging the town’s honor and not a single person injured.

Imagine that.

Two things.  If you are not familiar with the case you will find a good chronology at the Sentinel & Enterprise that did a find job covering the story.

Secondly given how close the election for governor was I wonder if the Attorney General Martha Coakley’s decision not to press charges caused a few voters in the local area who have had no problem voting for democrat reps and state senators to cross the aisle last november?

A great example of how to see the real difference in culture over four generations is to compare the heroes of one age vs another.

In the 1934 movie the Scarlet Pimpernel the title character, played by Leslie Howard, is joined by a group of 20 followers all posing as “fashionable puppies” young upper class twits who in reality are risking life and limb to save the life of those who are being slaughtered by the French Revolution for not believing the right things at the right time.

When one of his followers notes that they could,  with little effort be 1000 rather than 20, Sir Percy scoffs saying:

Mere force is useless against people who are neither cowards nor fools, so we must match courage with courage and cunning with still greater cunning if we are to do anything at all.  We’re all willing to give our lives but we must do more than that.  We must mask our identities, suffer the humiliation of being taken for fops, fools nitwits, cowards.

For that hero it’s not all about them, it’s about those they wish to save and are willing not only to risk their lives, but also willing to suffer humiliation for the cause of good and right.

The same young boys who saw movies like this or read books like that and dreamed of risking all, ten years later were willing to give their lives to fight the Nazi’s (Howard himself would be shot down over the Bay of Biscay) and the men who came home didn’t boast or brag about it.  Remember the famous Band of Brothers spent over five decades under the nations radar satisfied with the knowledge that they had done right, and their duty before Tom Hanks’mini series made their names and faces internationally known.

Contrast that with the idiots of Ferguson and beyond.

They imagine themselves brave heroes defending the honor of black america in general the Brown family in particular yet what to they do?

They torch and loot business and bakeries owned by people of people, of color in the town (leaving strangers to pay to rebuild them), loot black elementary schools , and even burn the church of the Brown Family’s pastor at least as long as they are undefended

They close down shopping malls on the one weekday where many working people might have off before Christmas.

The disrupt a christmas tree lighting making a bunch of children cry.

The try & fail to disrupt the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade

And then they tweet about their “bravery” as one person described it in LA:

“Half of this protest I feel like is baiting cops … sort of about proving who you are against the police,” said Wilder Bunke, 21, of Hollywood, who was critical of actions by some in the crowd. “The modern-day “… the police” isn’t shooting a cop, it’s posting a picture of yourself posing with a cop car on Facebook or Twitter.”

Do you see the contrast?  In the 30’s the hero pretends to be a coward in public while putting themselves in danger behind the scene.  Today they pretend to put themselves in danger in public.  All those videos of college kids lying down in malls and professional protesters disrupting shoppers, all those tweets declaring death threats to Officer Wilson are all about faking the courage of those who came before for all the world to see.

And yet, even that “courage” is an illusion as they taunt police in the sure and certain knowledge they will not shoot and are in fact trained not to.  (Although I suspect the professional protest organizers, the Lisa Fithians of the world dearly hope one of their dupes would get themselves shot and create a martyr to the cause).

Alas the problem with living in a bubble, even a bubble that holds the fascination of the mainstream media, unlike Cuba’s Women in White , is that while your niche might see such action as world-changing, the general public sees something else, as Jazz Shaw put it:

The very first thing which came to my mind was to place myself in the position of a commuter who might not be all that familiar with the events in Ferguson hearing about the movement on the news later one. Oh.. so those were the guys who kept me sitting on I-90 for five freaking hours when I was supposed to be picking up cranberry sauce for my mother-in-law? Oh, I definitely will want to get on board with their legislation.

People understand it takes no actual courage to make trouble for average folks and people who can’t fight back that’s why those who practice the form of cowardice take so much time to pretend otherwise.  I’ll give the last word to C.S. Lewis’ Screwtape

We have been getting drips and drabs out of the investigation/grand jury  in Ferguson.  It seems that actual confirmed information is pretty hard to come by.

In one sense that’s proper, that last thing you want to do is to contaminate a potential jury pool further if there is in fact an indictment but all of the posturing by the various sides in this drama has been quite revealing.

The government has made repeated assurances to the black community that “justice” will be done. You might recall weeks before the governor made his vow to protect lives & property he called for a “vigorous prosecution” of the officer in question even before the Grand Jury had been presented with a thing (hey there was an upcoming election after all.)

All of this was done in the hopes of calming the black community and the protesters waiting to explode, yet a state of emergency has been declared in Ferguson and businesses & shops are boarded up preparing for the worst.

Oddly in all of these worries nobody has asked an obvious question.

We are told by the protesters that the Michael Brown shooting was indicative of oppression, that the community is invested in keeping blacks down. That the police force is just a tool being used by the white community whose desire is to oppress blacks.

So tell me, if this is true why is there no worry of White Riots if Darren Wilson is indicted?

The White population of the area outnumbers the black community greatly.  Many members of said community are armed legally, quite a few members of the community have been out protesting in support of the police in general and Officer Wilson in particular. Many of said protesters have connections to police.

If this was all about what the protesters claim then surely these people are simply waiting to explode, ready to vent their fury on the black folk of Ferguson in retaliation.   No black owned business or neighborhood should be safe from their wrath. If the protesters are right the threat of white violence washing over Ferguson like a tidal wave in an orgy of looting, burning and pillaging as seen historically from they days  of Jim Crow and dramatically portrayed in popular culture for two generations should be the #1 fear of all concerned.

Yet there is not even the slightest hint that if Darren Wilson is indicted and even convicted there would be anything more dramatic than strongly worded letters to the editor & perhaps some angry calls to talk radio  and maybe another billboard or two.

This more than anything else tells you all you need to know about the true state of race relations in Ferguson and the moral capital of those waiting to march.

The civil rights movement built up a huge amount of sympathy & moral authority by standing up to powerful people who tried to intimidate them. I submit and suggest that from what we are seeing and NOT seeing out of Ferguson, that account has been overdrawn.

I’ll go one better, for all the disclaimers from the leaders of the Ferguson Protests concerning violence and pointing to “outsiders” being the source of trouble (oddly the same argument white authorities in the Jim Crow days always made) if the grand jury returns no indictments & Ferguson burns in an orgy of violence, the stereotype said violence will create will be a millstone  carried by young black men across America for generations to come.

And while this will be horrible news for said young black men it will also guarantee gainful employment and media time for a whole new generation of race hustlers anxious to use them as suckers.

Using the blood of a race for profit, now where have I seen that before?

The meeting we had earlier at the church at 9950 Glen Owen Dr, St Louis, MO, alot of us attended the meeting but what happened with the attack on a peaceful protester was wrong and should have been handled a different way. Some of us already know that no live-streaming is allowed at the meeting and but when they told him to stop live streaming he probably didn’t hear or understand and when everbody just rushed him and told to stop live streaming and get the F××k out and then all of sudden he gets jumped and attacked.

There has been talk that the Ferguson protestors are trying to negotiate with Police, I have a suggestion

But like I said again, for some of yall to just attack him having him, running down Chambers St towards West Florissant to the Walgreens scared for his life and he steady screaming crying and flagging down cars asking for help, but he only gets help when he runs inside the Walgreens, that was wrong and F××ked up it really was he was they took him to the hospital by ambulance to be treated for injuries. That’s making us look bad, the ones that come out to protest peacefully, smh, and he is white but that don’t mean to attack him like that!

Yeah I can see why they’re worried about PR. Beating someone in a church meeting & sending them to the hospital seems is unlikely to win a lot of support outside of Eric Holder’s justice department who I’m sure will be sending a team right down there to investigate.

Update 2: No Residuals no Peace!

The Ferguson Police Department is currently investigating claims that Lesley McSpadden brought a group of people — including her own mother — to beat vendors and rob them of their “Justice for Mike Brown” merchandise Oct. 18, The Smoking Gun has learned.

One person was hospitalized in the reported attack and another unidentified alleged victim was reportedly beaten with a pipe.

McSpadden’s former mother-in-law, Pearlie Gordon, was among those beaten by “a large group of about 20-30 subjects” who had “jumped out of vehicles and rushed” the group of sellers, according to the police report.

Hey they had to pay for that UN trip somehow.

Via Glenn:  In a sense blacks in Ferguson MO being in fear of the race hustlers makes sense.  It reminds me of Buck O’Neil who said the effort to keep Black Players out of the Major League Baseball was less about racial superiority & more about protecting the jobs of the white players who would be displaced by integration (MLB expansion coincidentally began just after the last team integrated).

This is the same thing, the race grievance industry is a profitable one and quite a few black “leaders” along with various organizations make a good living off of it.  They can’t have eyewitness, particularly black eyewitnesses, providing public testimony that contradicts a meme that has the potential to pay off so handsomely!  Why it’s practically restraint of trade!

Expect this to be used in the last weeks of the campaign in the hopes it will boost black turnout at the polls nationally.

When a group of people have become guided by their bellies–their appetites–appealing to them on an intellectual, spiritual and/or altruistic basis is pointless. Not only do they become unable to discern any difference between good and evil, but they even become unable to figure out what is best for themselves.

We see this attitude made flesh–pun intended–in the latest Missouri drama involving the police.

Vonderrit Deondre Myers, a teenager who died in a police shooting, was struck by seven or eight bullets, St. Louis city Medical Examiner Dr. Michael Graham said Thursday night.

“All but one gunshot wound were to the lower extremities,” Graham said. “The one fatal wound was to the head.”

Police Chief Sam Dotson said the killing happened Wednesday evening when a suspect shot a pistol three times at the St. Louis officer, who was off-duty but wearing his uniform while moonlighting for a security company. The officer fired his pistol 17 times, police said.

The shooting sparked angry street protests, with residents pointing out similarities to the August killing of Michael Brown in nearby Ferguson.

Emphasis mine. There has also been rioting.

Many things fall under the heading of appetite. There is food, of course. (Esau famously sold his birthright to his brother Jacob–one of the earliest examples of selling oneself out against what is best for self.) And there are physical intoxicants and hallucinogens for which people will do anything to obtain.

But there are other appetites as well–tribalism, vengeance, covetousness, etc., and these are all spiritual in nature. And here’s how they operate: in the absence of the Holy Spirit, an individual–or a people–will be prone to these appetites.

Here we have black people protesting against the police because the latter responded to a shooter with identical force and, of course, the only reason they are protesting and rioting is because the shooter is black. Their appetites are more important than right and wrong. Which appetite? Their appetites for tribalism, tribal vengeance, and covetousness. Their bellies for these things have become their gods.

And many of these people won’t realize that they have food poisoning until it is too late.

Jay Nordlinger is in my opinion, one of those writers whose work should be read to paraphrase Hemingway’s description of C.S. Forester, by every literate I know.

His latest piece is titled Presidential ingratitude, &c. It’s a great read but in my opinion, in the first paragraph he does something I’ve rarely seen him do before:

A few days ago, a New York Times reporter said, “I think Obama hates the press.” (For the relevant story, go here.) Really? Does President Obama hate the press? If so, that is, among other things, ungrateful.

He gets it wrong,  Barack Obama is not being ungrateful, he’s being a realist.  It is entirely proper that this president shows absolutely no gratitude to the press for their unthinking, uncritical and unrelenting support.

It’s true that Barack Obama is an arrogant narcissist but consider two things.

First of all throughout his adult life he has been given things based on the assumption he is special. From his seat in the state legislature to the senate and beyond he has been entitled.

Given those facts it would take a ridiculous amount of self awareness newly acquired for Barack Obama to suddenly show gratitude for any deference he is shown.

But that would be an explanation why it’s not to expected, not as to why it’s not an act of ingratitude, that’s something a lot more calculating.

The press didn’t treat him the way they did because of their love of Barack Obama, they did because it was impossible for him to treat him in any way other than they did.

Barack Obama was the first viable black president for president of the United States and he is an ultra liberal Democrat. That combination made it absolutely impossible for him to be opposed or critiqued without risking the dreaded “race” question from others if their opposition was in the slighted way based on race. Granted the possibility of the first viable Female candidate gave them some flexibility in the primary but once that was decided there was absolutely no question where any member of the press who wanted any future outside of Fox needed to be.

And if you think it was important for the first black president to win his election for the liberal media it was absolutely VITAL for that groundbreaking chief executive to be a success and if that meant ignoring holes in policy, enduring restrictions on their freedom and even pivoting from American Ambassador murdered on the anniversary of 9/11 to attack his GOP opponent so be it.

The key fact here is that none of this was dependent on WHO that first black president was than the fact THAT he was…

…and of course not a republican, after all there is a reason why the first viable Hispanic presidential candidate in the nation’s history, Ted Cruz is simply despised by the press.

Barack Obama has many faults and weaknesses, a lack of understanding how the race card works among liberals elites is not one of them. He knows the press had no choice but to treat him as they did, for their world view to make sense they could do nothing less and he further understands that with Hillary Clinton now seeking the presidency he will be abandoned if necessary for the sake of the next affirming, contradicting “first”.

He understands that it’s not personal, it’s strictly business.

The most transparent administration in history™ is spreading their own definition of transparency on the road to Ferguson Missouri 

The Justice Department closed a series of town hall meetings in Ferguson, Missouri, to the media, saying the presence of reporters would be disruptive, a spokesman for the city said Monday. A five-week series of meetings, the first of which was Monday, was organized to resolve racial tensions that erupted in the wake of the fatal police shooting of unarmed teenager Michael Brown

The Justice Department’s Community Relations Service Friday ordered the meetings, which are to update residents “on changes the council wants the community to consider,” closed to the media and non-residents.

In a racially charged atmosphere during an election year when the administration is desperate to motivate their base, nothing is more likely to confirm to the public that there is absolutely no attempt by any party to manipulate events or decisions than to make sure those pesky people with recording devices and notebooks be kept out of meetings that would normally be open under Missouri sunshine laws.

I’ll give the last word to the Mayor

Ferguson Mayor James Knowles said the meetings were intended to let residents “know exactly where we stand on things with full transparency.”

Well I certainly find Eric Holder’s Justice Department’s motives in ordering reporters banned from these meetings transparent in the extreme.

Well it looks like the Orcs of Russia are taking hostages:

“Over all, it’s hard to believe something like this is possible. This case breaks all the rules,” said the well-known Estonian politician Eerik-Niiles Kross commenting on the kidnapping by Russians of the employee of the Estonian Security Police on Estonian territory.

In Tallinn people are seriously worried. Estonian officials are trying to convince themselves that this is a tragic exception that has nothing to do with politics. They are contacting Russian colleagues, hoping for their assistance in the rapid release of the man who had been kidnapped   by “unknown” persons. But the most interesting part is that Russia is not even attempting to hide anything. The public relations office of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) announced that the arrest of the Estonian employee happened on the territory of the Russian Federation despite the fact that the border police of both countries held a special meeting at the scene of the crime — on Estonian territory, naturally, not in Russia. But Moscow has already carried out a similar exercise with Nadiya Savchenko. Now it simply repeated it.

This is a clear violation of the norms of conduct, something that would not be tolerated between civilized nations but not only has Russia done this but are not even taking the trouble to issue a face saving denial.

Then again why would they?  Why would Putin bother to deny it?  He has the power, he’s willing to use it, and he knows that the current leadership of the west does not have the courage to stop him because it lacks leadership and no longer has a culture that values the courage necessary to do so.  Not denying it emphasizes that power and demonstrates to those he wants to intimidate who is in charge.

When nobody is willing to stop you all things are possible and this is a lesson that applies not only on a geopolitical scale but on a local scale as the people in Memphis have discovered:

Three people were brutally beaten by a mob of teens in the parking lot of the Kroger at Highland and Poplar Saturday night.

Two of the victims were reportedly teenage Kroger employees coming to the aid of a customer being attacked by the group. A video of the incident has gone viral.

The Memphis flyer mentions a “Mob of Teens” and there is this from police:

“It is extremely troubling to see how many young people were involved, especially on the heels of last week’s youth forum. A lot of our citizens are working to provide safe and productive alternatives for our youth,” Memphis Police Department Director Toney Armstrong said in a statement on Monday.

however there is one fact that is left out for some reason that Breitbart manages to notice

and like the Ray Rice story, there is video

Video taken by customers on the scene attest to the viciousness of the attack. It shows screaming, joking, laughing black members of the mob attacking and kicking a white Kroger employee lying immobile on the ground.

Police are making some arrests:

FOX6’s sister station, WREG in Memphis reports a 15-year-old has been charged with aggravated riot and acting in concert: to wit aggravated assault.

WREG reports the teen was out on gun-related charges at the time of the attack. WREG says the teen wasn’t enrolled in school, and his mother was previously charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

But the most revealing line from the story is this observation from a witness

“It was nonsense violence. I can say that for sure. It seemed very unprovoked. They weren’t about anything, that it was fun for them. They were out having a good time. They were all smiling they were laughing,” the man said.

Now why would a mob of black kids go around beating people in a city like Memphis?  Well this screenshot from memorandum gives you a clue

Look what’s missing from that list, CNN, ABC, NBC, CNBC, MSNBC, NYT, Washington Post, CBS, Huffington Post,

The kids of this mob have learned the same lesson Vlad Putin have on a smaller scale.  they’ve  taken the measure of the country and know it doesn’t have the will or the desire to stand against them and the media certainly won’t make it an issue.  Vlad Putin would recognize this in a heartbeat and be nodding in agreement.

An Orc is an Orc is an Orc no matter what age, no matter what race no matter what scale and until Orcs are stopped they will rampage unchecked.

Exit Question:  If this had taken place in Putin’s  Russia would any of those kids in the video be seen again outside of Siberia?

The Details as as bad as the headline suggests

In August 2013, four women launched legal action against Rotherham council over ‘systematic failures’ to protect them from ‘sexual abuse by predatory men when they were children’ according to their lawyers.
One girl, known only as ‘Jessica’ claims she was abused daily as a 14-year-old by a 24-year-old man after social services failed to accept that she was a victim grooming.
On one ocassion married father-of-two Arshid Hussain was even caught with the half naked schoolgirl under his bed but documents revealed that police arrested her – and let him go.
Rotherham, South Yorkshire, has become known as Britain’s under-age sex capital, after a string of high profile cased where authorities have let down vulnerable children.

Before I go any farther when you see the word “Asian” in an English Newspaper it doesn’t mean Oriental, it generally means Pakistani Muslim or Arabic (Remember Asia is a pretty big place)

I wonder if the got away with it so long because police were worried about looking racist there too?

What do you call a police force that is unwilling to enforce the laws on particular group of men based on their race even if it endangers the children of their community and why does that question seem particularly relevant in our current news cycle?

Threatened with Guns? I thought England had some of the toughest guns laws in the world and had largely disarmed their citizens?  Or was the disarming of the populace race based too?

The late Roger Ebert did a series of reviews on the ‘Great Movies” which are still online, one of the finest reviews he wrote was about the 1915 Movie: Birth of a Nation.

“The Birth of a Nation” is not a bad film because it argues for evil. Like Riefenstahl’s “The Triumph of the Will,” it is a great film that argues for evil. To understand how it does so is to learn a great deal about film, and even something about evil.

On a Technical level nobody disputes that this early film epic was a masterpiece, it was not only for a long time considered the greatest american movie but also introduced to the fledgling movie industry that made movies what they are.

audiences in 1915 were witnessing the invention of intercutting in a chase scene. Nothing like it had ever been seen before: Parallel action building to a suspense climax. Do you think they were thinking about blackface? They were thrilled out of their minds.

Today, what they saw for the first time, we cannot see at all. Griffith assembled and perfected the early discoveries of film language, and his cinematic techniques that have influenced the visual strategies of virtually every film made since; they have become so familiar we are not even aware of them.

On the other hand for all it’s technical and cinematic accomplishments of the film those images had horrible consequences:

“The Birth of a Nation” is worth considering, if only for the inescapable fact that it did more than any other work of art to dramatize and encourage racist attitudes in America…. It is based on Thomas Dixon’s racist play, The Clansman, and the fact that Griffith wanted to adapt it reveals his own prejudices.

And it didn’t just encourage racist attitudes it struck a match that burned for decades

Some of the film’s most objectionable scenes show the Ku Klux Klan riding to the rescue of a white family trapped in a cabin by sexually predatory blacks and their white manipulators. These scenes are credited with the revival of the popularity of the Klan, which was all but extinct when the movie appeared.

DW Griffith was out to make a movie, he wasn’t out to bring back the Klan, encourage violence against the black community nor to cause the death of Schwerner, Goodman, and Chaney nearly 50 years later but just as the slaveholding generation was finally dying out this movie fantasy allowed the revival of prejudices and actions that took decades & blood to bring under control.

Given that the movie industry was in its infancy one might attempt to excuse Griffith’s ignorance as to the consequences of these movie images in 1915.

100 years later in Ferguson MO, that same excuse doesn’t wash.

Stacy McCain not withstanding what’s happening in Ferguson Mo is national news, not because Brown’s shooting is national news, but because of the rioting that  has been going on for days now.

The still images and the video images and live feed of this rioting has been covered by media all over the county and the world. It has been seen on TV’s on iPhones, on TV and laptops.

It has been the subject of Newspapers, facebook posts, tweets and radio. Even people who pay little attention to news have could not miss the dissemination of these images.

If the images of DW Griffith’s movie were damaging to the black community because it reinforced by fantasy existing prejudices and revived the Klan the Ferguson riots are exponentially worse for the community and will have a greater effect on the culture’s perception of Blacks in America for generations.

Why? Several reasons:

1. Unlike Birth of a Nation these images are constantly being replayed everywhere, one doesn’t have to proactively seek these images to find the.

2. Unlike Birth of a Nation you have fresh images daily from fresh riots reinforcing what is being seen each day.

3. Those who saw Birth of a nation saw a depiction of events from a half a century ago an era that most of the viewers did not see and was not familiar. The images and events of Ferguson are of contemporary current events, some seen in real time, that the viewers can identify with. Furthermore unlike

4. Furthermore the plantation & battle scene locations might mean little to a moviegoer of 1915. The locals of The business that have been hit and looted in Ferguson include Papa John’s Domino’s Pizza, Walgreens and some corner convenience stores. These types of stores exist in all over America causing individuals to relate to them.

And most important of all while the scenes depicted in the move are either dramatizations of historical events (Civil War Battles, Lincoln assassination) or pure fiction. People seeing the rioting and response are seeing images of true events with the actual people involved in these events.

The Cable networks can write all they want about justice for Michael Brown as opposed to say Shaquise Butler,  Basketball hall of famers can be given as many column inches in national magazines as they wish and people can describe what is going on as a “teachable moment” but for generations of people their primary memory of this events of Ferguson Mo will not be if the shooting of Michael Brown was or was not justified by the events.  It will be of a mob of black youths looting and burning their own neighborhoods for days leading to the deployment of National Guard troops.

So much for the influence of “black leaders” and the New Black Panthers.

People can pretend otherwise all they want but to a large segment of the American population their perception of every young black man born in the next decade and their children will be defined by a bunch of punk rioters looting their local Domino’s Pizza.

It’s not fair and it was not likely the intent of the people who turned this from a local & state story to a national and international one any more than it was DW Griffith’s intention to revive the KKK in 1915 but their intent not withstanding like the release of Birth of a Nation their actions will have consequences for generations to come, both for the country as a whole and for the black community in particular.

The final Irony is that while Griffith spent a lifetime trying to make up for what he had inadvertently done, those who will rise to prominence or advance their causes thanks to events in Ferguson will likely never even reckon or even perceive its price.

I’d recommend a lot of Rosaries in reparation.

How many people got shot to death in Chicago this past weekend? I don’t know, but I’m going to guess it’s probably more people than the Ferguson, Missouri, police have shot to death in the past five years. (OK, I just Googled it: 7 dead, 29 wounded in Chicago last weekend, including 16-year-old Shaquise Buckner. For killing black kids, the Ferguson police can’t ever hope to rival Chicago.)

When a story like Michael Brown’s death makes national news, it’s because the media decided there’s some kind of Social Justice angle. Matthew Shepard was a story like that, and it took years for people to admit it wasn’t really about “homophobia.”

But nobody is rioting in Chicago because Shaquise Buckner never made it to 17,   Al Sharpton & Jessie Jackson will not be meeting with his mother, no  nationally known lawyers will be holding news conferences about his death, the Black Panthers will not be holding vigils and his murder will be of less consequence to the left’s activists in the city than the potential opening of a Chick Fil A.

After all, there are no potential to change the course of the 2014 midterm elections from his death, is there?

Exit question:  If Stacy McCain hadn’t mentioned Shaquise Buckner’s name how many people in the country would know it?

You know the GOP has done all it can to upset the base in this upcoming election to the point where a big red wave is looking more like simply a good year for the GOP.

The arguably criminal — certainly dishonest and unethical — conduct of the Mississippi primary campaign to re-elect Thad Cochran was witnessed by every Tea Party activist in the country, Kentucky included. Every deceitful smear against Chris McDaniel in Mississippi was a deliberate “f–k you” to grassroots conservatives, courtesy of the D.C.-based Republican political establishment of which Mitch McConnell is the official leader. If it weren’t for this factor — the transparent selfishness and corruption of McConnell and his GOP Senate cronies — the Senate race in Kentucky would not even be close. The major obstacle to McConnell’s re-election is not the usual problem of wooing undecided “swing” voters; his problem is that many thousands of Kentucky conservatives have little motive to vote for him in November.

Luckily for Mitch the other side keep doing their best to remind GOP votes why we dislike them so:

Ballmer beat out bids from headed by David Geffen and Tony Ressler which checked in at $1.6 billion and $1.2 billion.

According to Forbes the average NBA franchise is worth around $634 million

Early reports had the Clippers pegged at a value of about $500 mil and of course the purchase price of the franchise back when Sterling first bought it was 12.5 million. (inflation adjusted $32, 600,660.13).

That means adjusted for inflation he will make a profit of over 3000% or 61.348 times his inflation adjusted purchase price.

Furthermore as this is a “forced” sale he may be exempt from part of the taxes one might normally pay on capital gains.

That’s quite a reward for his actions but on the other hand given the boost he’s given to the race baiting industry that will be paying decades it’s a small price to pay, particularly since none of the people who make their profits off race hustling are paying it.

A few days ago we talked about the NAACP’s willingness to take Donald Sterling money as long as they could keep it quiet.

Or to put it another way these guys didn’t mind taking money from a racist as long as that wasn’t general knowledge.  If you doubt this for a moment ask yourself honestly if that award would have been cancelled if that audio never came out?

Well via the People’s Cube we discover the NAACP of LA is nothing if not resourceful.  If they can’t secretly take the money of a racist as it’s a vice, they’ll openly take the money and call it virtue:

The LA chapter of the NAACP is refunding Donald Sterling’s contributions, for now at least. In a public statement Monday afternoon Chapter President Leon Jenkins said he was open to the idea of talking with Mr. Sterling, to negotiate a price for Racist Offsets no doubt.

“God teaches us to forgive, and the way I look at it, after a sustained period of proof to the African American community that those words don’t reflect his heart, I think there’s room for forgiveness. I wouldn’t be a Christian if I said there wasn’t.”

Most glorious compassion indeed. Mr. Jenkins continued…

“We are negotiating with him about giving more moneys to African American students at UCLA, and so we are in preliminary discussions.”

You read it right, comrades… “negotiations”. Mr. Sterling, with an undoubtedly generous “Racist Offsets” donation will be forgiven for his misdeeds. Let no racist rant go unfunded, comrades.

So the crisis is solved, the NAACP revenue stream from Donald Sterling can be restored and all is right in the world.  Twitchy has more

Now that Donald ‘Sterling has been suspended for life a lot of people in the left would like us to forget the role of the NAACP in preparing to give him a 2nd lifetime achievement award.

I’m not about to.

It’s important to remember that just five days ago nobody was questioning Sterling getting this award, nor should it be forgotten that this award would have been given at a gala including the mayor of LA & Al Sharpton.

Monday we showed the media double standard on Sterling vs Bundy, Yesterday we talked about the hypocrisy of the NAACP, now today, before the NBA starts giving part of that 2.5 million dollar fine to them I think it’s time for the NAACP to answer a few questions concerning the Sterling award newly revoked.

1. When was the decision made by the NAACP to give Donald sterling a 2nd lifetime achievement award?

2. How are the people who received a NAACP lifetime achievement award selected?

3. Who were the people on the committee who selected Mr. Sterling to receive said award?

4. At the time of his selection of Mr. Sterling for this award did anyone at NAACP object?

5. Were there minutes taken at the meeting when Sterling was selected will they be released?

6. As press on @mtp & @CNN stated Mr. Sterling’s racism was well-known why was he selected for this award?

7. How much money has Mr. sterling given to NAACP and or programs, causes, friends or candidates supported by the NAACP?

All the people beating their breasts on Donald Sterling should insist on these answers, because without them we must conclude that the NAACP was happy to whitewash a person they knew was a racist, as long as the price was right.

Our NAACP chapter in L.A. is not blameless. Because of Sterling’s large donations to local charities, including the NAACP, they overlooked his worse than checkered history on race issues and gave him a lifetime achievement award in 2009 — and were about to honor him with a humanitarian award before his racist recording surfaced.

The National NAACP and all of our affiliates must be more discerning in our awarding of honors, which should be for true achievements in advancing racial equality. We are developing guidelines for our units to help them in their award selection process. We must not be seduced by mere financial support.

Oh you poor folk, you weren’t taking a bribe, you were “seduced” as if you were victims.

Wasn’t it just a few days ago that when it came to race, the only words the media knew when it came to race was Cliven Bundy?

Now Paul Begala’s deceptive tweets not withstanding the Donald Sterling story presents a horrible problem for Democrats in general (sorry nothing says “RINO” louder than a republican who gives $ exclusively to Democrats) and the NAACP in particular.

On Sunday Meet the Press Bryant Gumbel has this to say about Donald Sterling?

His remarks were directed at the NBA but they are better directed at the NAACP.

While the interim president of the NAACP wasted no time cutting and running when it came to the lifetime achievement award

Lorraine Miller: He is not receiving a lifetime achievement award from the NAACP that’s coming up in the next few weeks.

“He has received many honors, including the 2009 NAACP Lifetime Achievement Award, the 2008 BBA Humanitarian of the Year Award, and the 2008 NAACP Presidents Award.”

Mr. Sterling’s is a matter of public record, it doesn’t even fall to the level of an open secret so how could the NAACP have honored him in the past let along plan to add to those honors?

The best answer come from LG Granderson on CNN’s State of the Union who after a long segment liking Bundy to the right answered a question posed by S.E Cupp on the NAACP and Donald Sterling in this exchange:

Granderson: Let me clarify it for you, money. If you follow the money, then it all starts to make sense. The NAACP has received a lot of money, donations from Donald Sterling. So he’s already been sued and had to settle out of court many allegations in terms of him discriminating — (INAUDIBLE) he owns property. And he did not rent to minorities and would say very disparaging things about minorities. This has been recorded for years —

SE Cupp: To be proven… (CROSSTALK) …why would the NAACP give him an award?

Candy Crowley: Money.

Granderson: Money covers a multitude of sins.

The NAACP earned it’s reputation from the moral authority earned by decades of hard work, sacrifice and blood of its members in the cause of civil rights, people with courage, people who could not be bought.

For a long time we of the right noticed they the NAACP  had traded those days for liberal politics, because of the left control of the media all we got for those efforts were attacks.  Now with the Sterling case the depths to which they have betrayed their principles are too clear for even a compliant press to hide.

Or to put it another way these guys didn’t mind taking money from a racist as long as that wasn’t general knowledge.  If you doubt this for a moment ask yourself honestly if that award would have been cancelled if that audio never came out?

It’s a horrible reality check  for a once proud & honorable organization.

All this other stuff I listed above has been going on for years and this ridiculous conversation with his girlfriend is what puts you over the edge? That’s the smoking gun?

Am I the only guy who noted the inherent racism in the argument that Jeb Bush is making here?

The way I look at this is someone who comes to our country because they couldn’t come legally, they come to our country because their families — the dad who loved their children — was worried that their children didn’t have food on the table. And they wanted to make sure their family was intact, and they crossed the border because they had no other means to work to be able to provide for their family. Yes, they broke the law, but it’s not a felony. It’s an act of love. It’s an act of commitment to your family.

Bush is basically saying if you are a mexican parent it’s perfectly understandable that you would bring your kids to the US instead of letting them grow up in Mexico because we all know MEXICO SUCKS!

Think about that for a second.

What does such a statement say about Mexicans, about Latinos? Isn’t it pretty much declaring they’re not capable of running a country or even feed their own people? Doesn’t it say that if you love your children you’ll get them the hell out of Mexico by any means necessary?

In fact by this argument a Mexican parent who keeps their kid in Mexico is practically guilty of child abuse.

Yet the MSM who loves to deploy the race card against republicans and sees “code words” in every phrase is treating this as the “compassionate” argument for amnesty “immigration reform” rather than an incredible insult to Latinos.

Apparently suggesting that Mexicans and Latinos aren’t capable of running a country let alone feed their people isn’t racist if that helps advance liberal goals.

Perhaps if he gets the nomination in 2016 they’ll come around.

Update:  If Jeb Bush has made the same implications about Detroit an overwhelmingly black city run by an overwhelmingly black administration, that he did about Mexico, he would be hounded out of public life.

Was Chanel surfing looking for info on Ukraine when I saw a CNN report concerning a noose & an old pre 2003 Mississippi flag round the neck of a statue of James Meredith. The SPLC was going on and on about the programs needed and the steps that are required to stop out racism.

As you might guess the MSM is all over this:

ABC:

The FBI on Tuesday was helping investigate who tied a noose around the neck of a University of Mississippi statue of James Meredith, who, in 1962, became the first black student to enroll in the then all-white Southern college.

University police on Sunday morning found the rope noose and, on the statue’s face, a pre-2003 Georgia state flag with a Confederate battle symbol, said campus police Chief Calvin Sellers. Two men were seen near the statue early Sunday and investigators were looking at surveillance footage.

LA Times:

The Ole Miss Alumni Assn. is offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the statue incident. University police have asked the FBI to assist with the investigation.

“These actions may constitute a federal offense if they were intended to threaten someone because of their race and in connection with their use of an educational facility,” Daniel McMullen, special agent in charge of the FBI in Mississippi, said in a statement Tuesday.

The Washington Post:

About 150 Ole Miss students, black and white, rallied around the Meredith statue Tuesday to protest the vandalism, according to Charlie Mitchell, a journalism professor who attended the event. They held posters with several hand-written slogans, including, “Justice for African-Americans,” ‘’Respect the Students” and “This is Our University.” One poster said: “The actions done in the cowardly dark will never diminish the light of James Meredith’s legacy nor our creed.”

and of course the NYT:

Willie Toles Jr., a biology major, said he was startled by the attackers’ approach.

“I’m still kind of in shock at the tactics that some people try to use, either to try to intimidate or to provoke a reaction from the university,” said Mr. Toles, who is black. “What motive do you have for doing these types of things?”

If there is in fact video it would seem odd that the FBI would be needed but by all means bring them in. I want a full investigation and the people who did this identified and punished and their pictures and politics plastered all over TV screen in the country.

I have no idea who has done thing but there is an easy test to see if my aforementioned desires will be met.

If this was done by persons who are still living with the mindset of 1962 Mississippi my desire to see these people publicly shamed will be rewarded with full coverage on ABCCBSNBCMSNBCCNN and all the various papers. The Morning Shows will discuss it, the Sunday shows will opine on it and various celebs and activists will be on TV telling us how far we still have to go as a nation.

If however this was done by a person living with the mindset of a certain lady in Lunenburg Massachusetts circa 2013 I will find myself disappointed. None of the news networks will be interested, none of the morning shows will be involved, no charges will be filed, the FBI will quietly close this case and the people who are responsible will quietly go on their way with no consequences, no public shame and no press.

And all that will be remembered from the incident by the low information voter will be the initial reports of a story that fit the media narrative as opposed to a reality that didn’t.

As of right now I have no idea which will be the case and neither do any of you.

I suggest acting accordingly.

Yesterday Carlos Henriquez made the front page of the Boston Herald:

Inmate lawmaker Rep. Carlos Henriquez is 
doing his Beacon Hill business from his Billerica jail cell, thumbing through bills and budget proposals, and speaking to staff by phone “at least once a day,” 
according to the disgraced Dorchester Democrat’s legislative aide.

“We’ve been in regular contact with him, and at this point he’s concerned with the issues of the district,” aide Jessica DaSilva told the Herald.

Prison is a pretty boring place so Henriquez is lucky to have all this legislative and constituent business to keep his day full.

DaSilva said Henriquez’s office is fielding four or five constituent calls a day, mostly from people concerned about cuts to unemployment benefits. She said Henriquez also has been reviewing budget amendments, though she would not say which.

If nothing else it means the voters know where he is 24/7 and he has time to read the bills if he so chooses.

Now to me A lawmaker convicted of assaulting a women who refused him sex and had to escape his car in the wee hours of the morning is, in the era of the “war on woman” a national story, that same lawmaker refusing to resign is even more so but that lawmaker on the front page of a state newspaper doing legislative work from in prison while refusing to resign? How does that not lead?

For the same reason as this story out of Lunenburg will get very little press:

There is not enough evidence to charge the prime suspect in a racist graffiti case that rocked Lunenburg late last year, Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early, Jr. said Wednesday.

No charges?

“We have notified the Lunenburg Police Department that the evidence presented to us fails to demonstrate beyond a reasonable doubt that a crime has been committed by a particular person,” wrote Early in an email his office has been sending to Lunenburg residents who have inquired about the case.

But this story was big news, it even appeared on national TV shows,

How can this be? The base story appeared in papers as far away as Atlanta Ga & London England, it made SI.

Yet the DA’s office has suddenly decided that the reasonable doubt standard that used to apply to juries in the case replaces the “ham sandwich” standard that normally applies to indictments.

Now it could be that the DA decided that it would be a waste of taxpayer money, and that a conviction is unlikely but given the reach of the story such a decision would naturally generate press around the world, and stories full of outrage, a DA would normally be worried about that kind of thing and be prepared to answer a lot of tough question from reporters around the world.

I suspect he is not.

You see the primary suspect in this story is no longer the largely white football team in a small town but the mother of the supposed target of the racist graffiti. It is no longer a story about racism, it is about yet another race hoax. If the team had still been the suspect and racism been the theme and the DA a republican the decision to not press charges would be a source of national outrage and coverage but remember the rule we stated yesterday.

I submit & suggest it’s because all of these stories involve Democrats and their national memes and Democrats understand that when it comes to such stories MSM immediately recognizes them as unnewsworthy.

So like the Democrat combatant in the war on women currently doing his legislative work behind bars, the race hoaxer who turned her community upside down with a phony race card and the Democrat’s DA decision not to prosecute are simply not newsworthy.

Meanwhile my question from last month still stands:

Where does the town of Lunenburg go to get their reputation back, where does the football team go to get their Thanksgiving game back and who pays for all the police, local state and federal that were used in the attempt to sell this BS?

nothing to see here, move along.

Exit question: While one can argue that the family in the small town is now marked and suffered enough what sort of incentive is created for the next race hoaxer who wants to destroy a person or a town’s reputation for personal or political reasons when they know they are unlikely to face any legal consequence?

By an odd coincidence the AG of Massachusetts is running for governor. I wonder if such a case, if prosecuted might be problematic during the campaign? Then again maybe there is hope

The Lunenburg Police Chief tells WBZ-TV that federal charges could be filed.

Yeah I’m sure Eric Holder will get right on that one.

Meanwhile Stacy McCain has discovered another perp that doesn’t fit the media’s template.

Update 2: Glenn Reynolds linked to the Boston Herald Story above. Does that mean national republicans will finally use this as a weapon in the war on women BS? If they do and it gets repeated on any national show I predict pressure from national democrats will have Henriquez out of office so fast it will make your head swim.

Update 3: Why is Henriquez not resigning after assaulting a women who refused him sex? Maybe we should ask his mom Sandra Henriquez Assistant Secretary for Public and Indian Housing for the Obama administration.

I’ve been thinking about Melissa Harris Perry and her guests who had such a reaction to the very idea that Mitt Romney would have an adopted black grandchild in a family picture.  People have marveled at what has been said, at the attitude toward the Romney family.

Perry has since apologized, the whole panel is in retreat and NBC has moved on to Pearl Harbor Survivors but while the story is technically “over” I think there is one aspect of it that everyone missed.

It’s not about the idea of mixed race, after all Harris Perry & Barack Obama are of mixed race as well.  It’s something much worse, an anger, an anger much deeper than some can imagine hiding in plain sight that comes from the realization they have concerning him.

They realize how what this child will be taught and how he will be brought up contrary to so many Black American brought up using the Democrat Template.

They realize that unlike the vast majority of black children today, this child will not only have two parents but two grandparents who will be active members of her family

They realize that unlike so many other black children he will not be in a sub par school with teachers who have no expectations.

They realize that this child will not be told he is a victim, instead she will find that hir parents and grandparents will have high expectations for her and will do their best to help her to achieve them.

They realize this child will be brought up in a religious culture where he will not be expected to abandon her beliefs because someone of the same race does so first.

They realize this child will not be dependent on government, is unlikely to be a woman’s studies major, peace studies major and is unlikely to become a person who makes their living off the grievance industry.

They realize that Planned Parenthood will likely not make a dime off of his and that he will be encouraged to avoid sex until marriage.

They realize that the child will not be brought up in an environment that celebrates, sex, drugs, profanity where every woman is a ho’.

They realize he will be taught to judge and evaluate people not by what they say but by what they do.

They realize that even if he rejects the beliefs of her parents and grandparents and goes a different path  he will not be considered a sellout nor labeled with derogatory names by his parents or grandparents who will love him no matter what.

They realize that he is unlikely to fall for the spiel that the left sells on victimhood, government and republicans ignoring the world around him, the spiel that has kept black America voting democrat even as their lot becomes worse culturally (illegitimacy rate 72.3%+) nationwide and economically particularly in cities where liberalism has ruled for years.

In short, they’re angry because they realize one escaped.

It’s amazing the difference a few weeks has made in the City of Lunenburg:

Was it only a few weeks ago that we learned how racist the Town of Lunenburg in general and the football team in particular? That the football team in was responsible for painting:  “Knights don’t need niggers” on the house of a bi-racial family with a young and very talented football player on the team who was subject to a spate of bullying?

Didn’t we have editorials decry the racism of the town, didn’t the governor weigh in, weren’t commentators talking all about this.

Didn’t Good Morning America weigh in?

and compare it to the Miami Dolphens scandal?

The Lunenburg story has echoes of the rookie hazing scandal that has enveloped the NFL’s Miami Dolphins.

Veteran Richie Incognito was suspended indefinitely on Nov. 4 after rookie Jonathan Martin turned in voice mails and text messages that allegedly showed Incognito using the N-word to describe Martin and threaten his family, according to ESPN.

The controversy came to light after Fox Sports reported that Martin and other rookies had been forced to pay thousands of dollars for dinner tabs and vacations for more veteran members of the team.

And didn’t the Lunenburg Football team forfeit the rest of the games and have their traditional Thanksgiving game cancelled?

Well that was only fair, after all you can’t let racism like that stand. As far as all right thinking people were concerned they had it coming….

…what a difference a few weeks and an actual investigation makes.

First the Football team is cleared:

Police in Lunenburg, Mass. say high school football players were not responsible for racist graffiti found on the side of a junior varsity player’s home.

So with the football team cleared, the question remains: Who is responsible for the racist graffiti sprayed on the home?

And the parents who had plenty to say before …

Chief Jim Marino said the Phillips parents are not talking to police anymore.

…are now singing a different tune:

Anthony Phillips returned to the end of his driveway to wait for his children to get off the school bus. Asked about rumors that he might have been involved in the incident, Phillips replied, “That just shows you how racist this town is.”

The Sentinel has been all over this story from day one.

Now that the case has gone the full circle from outrage confirming liberal prejudices to yet another race hoax it’s time for the question to be asked

Where does the town of Lunenburg go to get their reputation back, where does the football team go to get their Thanksgiving game back and who pays for all the police, local state and federal that were used in the attempt to sell this BS?

And will the sites in Atlanta, Metro US, The UK Daily Mail, Sports Illustrated, Fox Chicago and the Huffington Post be reporting on these new developments with the same gusto?

Ruh-roh. If she lied to the FBI, she could be in big trouble. But since when is it the FBI’s job to investigate racist graffiti? And if real racist graffiti is a federal offense, what is fake racist graffiti? The alleged hate crime was a big deal last month:

Two quick thoughts:

1. It really boggles the mind that someone would be willing to tar a group of teenagers, their families, a school and really an entire Town for the sake of a personal agenda. That degree of selfishness is incredible in its narcissistic depth.

2. If it turns out that the mother is the culprit she has done more damage to her son and her marriage than any amount of teaching or racist words could have done. And it will follow her son for years. How does a parent not realize that?

Update 2:  Michael Graham reports Lunenburg school folks haven’t learned much:

Now, with egg splattered all over their faces, the Lunenburg administrators STILL INSIST they did the right thing!

“I never looked at the cancellations as punishment, although it was certainly viewed that way by many. In the end, the safety of students and attendees at the games was deemed as of paramount importance. At no time did I or any employee of the schools indict or implicate players,” said Lunenburg Superintendent of Schools Loxi Jo Calmes.

Lunenburg’s superintendent and high school principal defended the decision to cancel the rest of the football season amid allegations against the players of writing racist graffiti.

“I thought would I have brought my own kids to that game? And the answer is no way. Why? Because it wasn’t safe to play,” Principal Brian Spadafino said.

The Lunenburg high football game “wasn’t safe?” From what–marauding bands of spray-painters?  Hordes of KKK members?

I think the next batch of town elections in Lunenburg are going to be very interesting.

As an important aside on an unrelated case, about 50 miles away from Lunenburg High, Masslive.com revealed yesterday that three teens were in custody “in connection with 13 incidents in October and November where homes, churches and cars were either vandalized or set on fire.”

The article reads in part,

“Symbols, slurs, sexually explicit images and, in the case of United Church of Ware, an expletive directed at God and the words “Catholic burning,” were spray-painted…” [added emphasis]

This author can find no other mention in any other source of the anti-Catholic slur. Is the FBI involved in that case? Will this anti-Catholic incident be investigated as a “hate crime?”

I guess some targets of hate are more equal than others.
