“This is the end. They’re running out of road,” Masters told the Guardian. He accused managers and board members of promoting conspiracy theories – including those related to the “truth” about 9/11 and claims about cancer and HIV. “They’ve run this place into the ground.”
Mind you this is left wing radio, these guys on a normal day make the MSM look, well mainstream
The network’s biggest star – Amy Goodman, host of the independently produced Democracy Now! – is also its biggest creditor. She is owed an estimated $2.1m in unpaid broadcast fees.
2.1 Million? Boy leading the revolution really pays well, at least it would if they could pay her.
In a Nation article earlier this year, he compared the network to the “late Ottoman Empire of public broadcasting” and urged progressive outsiders to step in and save it before it was too late.
When you have the Nation magazine saying this about a bastion of liberalism what does it say?
This morning I was on my way to a contract with WCRN AM 830 on the radio when at the top of the Hour CBS Radio news came on. During the short 3 minute segment there was a single line, which, in my mind, was an absolutely perfect illustration of the Bias of the media.
The report offered a single sentence saying: The Senate is expected to pass a bipartisan human trafficking bill paving the way for the confirmation of Loretta Lynch as Attorney General.
A person listening would never know that the Democrats in the senate spent weeks blocking that “Bipartisan” bill. A person listening to their radio would never know that Harry Reid company did all they could to kill that “bipartisan” bill. A CBS radio listener would never suspect that the ultra left abortion lobby that funds democrats were willing to sacrifice a bill to protect woman from sex trafficking in order to fund abortion.
Nope nothing to see here just bipartisan agreement, aren’t we all wonderful.
It’s when I hear things like this that I remember the days when I was less informed and used to fall for this kind of selective reporting and omission, and shudder.
Ok that sounds a little wrong. If you tune into DaTechGuy on DaRadio at Noon EST on the Money Matters Radio Network or FTR Radio you won’t hear Bishop Reilly talking about Che Guevara at all, he will be joining us in the first hour to talk about Pope Benedict XVI’s resignation, what it means to the Church, to individual Catholics, particularly in this Lenten season, and if this means the Vatican will soon need to open the St. Celestine home for retired Popes.
One of the things that differentiates this week’s Swatting of Aaron Walker(Worthing) is that it has come after Senator Saxby Chambliss (R-Ga) sent this letter to Attorney General Eric Holder asking him to investigate if any Federals laws were violated in these Swatting Incidents. This letter was signed by over eighty members of Congress.
Now that we have had a new incident this week this gives an excuse to seek comment from members who have not signed this letter to see if they will and from all members of congress for comment on this issue.
If Brett Kimberlin doesn’t like people talking about him, then might I suggest to any friend or cult follower of him that Swattings which produce appearances on national radio shows and comments from sitting members of congress is a bad idea
The good news is for the 2nd year in a row UMASS won in the first round of the NIT tournament beating Mississippi State 101-96 in double overtime. They move to a 2nd round game against top seed Seton Hall at 11 AM
The bad news is for the 2nd year in a row we are going to be pre-empted by the game.
However instead of taking the week off we are simply going to follow the game.
So tune into WCRN at 10:30 a.m for the NIT pregame (live stream at wcrnradio.com) and when the game ends (1:30 p.m. unless it goes into overtime) tune into WCRN’s DaTechGuy on DaRadio tentatively at 1:30 p.m. on St. Patrick’s day March 17th. tweet us live at #wcrn or call at 508-438-0965 or 888-9-fedora and listen to the live stream here.
