In our last post from DaTechGuy’s Midnight Court I talked to Pastor Greg Young

Before the interview the Pastor was kind enough to pray for my wife

The audio is here

My final interview for DaTechGuy’s Midnight court was Cody from MD

Unfortunately by this point my video cards were all completely full again so I just finished the interview audio only here

And with that DaTechGuy’s Midnight Court was adjourned for CPAC 2017

There is plenty more from CPAC coming over the next couple of weeks, but what is also going to be coming are a lot of hospital bills and debt from work that both my wife and I are going to be missing because of the complications from her “routine” surgery.

If you are able and inclined to help mitigate them I’d ask you to consider hitting DaTipJar

There are always some familiar faces at CPAC. If you are a Talk Radio fan from New England or Atlanta you will remember Michael Graham who I covered extensively while he was here and briefly shared a radio station and studio with.

For those of you farther to the south there is Bill Lewis from WSPR Radio 740 in Florida who talks about what his callers are saying

Those callers are a good measure outside of CPAC on what’s going on.

I was very happy to find that the Catholic faith was well represented at CPAC 2017 I spoke to Tom Wenzel of EWTN.

I asked them if they know of a priest who might be saying mass perhaps next year they can bring one to do so.

Full disclosure I’m associated with WQPH 89.3 FM radio an EWTN affiliate as a volunteer.

After talking with EWTN I ran into Alberto Calamaro of Radio Maria a Spanish Language Catholic station.

I think the rise of Catholic media will be a great blessing for both CPAC and the country.

On CPAC Day one after Hannity I headed down radio row where I saw a familiar face

Angle may have failed to beat Harry Reid in 2012 and got a lot of grief over it, but then again if she had won then we might not have seen the nuclear option from Harry and Donald Trump’s current cabinet picks would have been dead on arrival.

The Lord works in mysterious ways.

I then talked to the team of Daria Novak & Frank Vernuccio who do both Radio and TV

Daria also ran for congress in CT

We’ll see more from Radio row later

I really shouldn’t enjoy this piece so much:

“This is the end. They’re running out of road,” Masters told the Guardian. He accused managers and board members of promoting conspiracy theories – including those related to the “truth” about 9/11 and claims about cancer and HIV. “They’ve run this place into the ground.”

Mind you this is left wing radio, these guys on a normal day make the MSM look, well mainstream

The network’s biggest star – Amy Goodman, host of the independently produced Democracy Now! – is also its biggest creditor. She is owed an estimated $2.1m in unpaid broadcast fees.

2.1 Million? Boy leading the revolution really pays well, at least it would if they could pay her.

In a Nation article earlier this year, he compared the network to the “late Ottoman Empire of public broadcasting” and urged progressive outsiders to step in and save it before it was too late.

When you have the Nation magazine saying this about a bastion of liberalism what does it say?

The best part? All of this is in the UK Guardian.

This is Confession level Schadenfreude.

This morning I was on my way to a contract with WCRN AM 830 on the radio when at the top of the Hour CBS Radio news came on.  During the short 3 minute segment there was a single line,  which, in my mind, was an absolutely perfect illustration of the Bias of the media.

The report offered a single sentence saying:  The Senate is expected to pass a bipartisan human trafficking bill paving the way for the confirmation of Loretta Lynch as Attorney General.

A person listening would never know that the Democrats in the senate spent weeks blocking that “Bipartisan” bill.  A person listening to their radio would never know that Harry Reid  company did all they could to kill that “bipartisan” bill.   A CBS radio listener would never suspect that the ultra left abortion lobby that funds democrats were willing to sacrifice a bill to protect woman from sex trafficking in order to fund abortion.

Nope nothing to see here just bipartisan agreement, aren’t we all wonderful.

It’s when I hear things like this that I remember the days when I was less informed and used to fall for this kind of selective reporting and omission, and shudder.

As you might have guested I wasn’t the only conservative Radio at the NLRC event. I spoke to the host of Take a Stand Radio Lee Ann Sennick out of Rhode Island on day 1

She and her daughter were also guests on my radio show last week. you can hear her show on WNRI Woonsocket

Ok that sounds a little wrong. If you tune into DaTechGuy on DaRadio at Noon EST on the Money Matters Radio Network or FTR Radio you won’t hear Bishop Reilly talking about Che Guevara at all, he will be joining us in the first hour to talk about Pope Benedict XVI’s resignation, what it means to the Church, to individual Catholics, particularly in this Lenten season, and if this means the Vatican will soon need to open the St. Celestine home for retired Popes.

In our second hour author Dave Carter will be talking about his just released work Che: the Lost Diaries

So no matter if you are interested in a gentle man of peace abandoning power or a murderous ideologue seeking it. DaTechGuy on DaRadio is the place to be.

To hear us tune into AM 1390 Plymouth, WBNW 1120 Concord or 970 WESO in Southbridge to find me on your dial, or simply pick up the feed from here the Money Matter Radio Network.

And remember you can find us on TuneIn as well as FTR radio online, additionally FTR will be replaying the show Tuesday Mornings at 8 AM.

See you then.

Well there is a blizzard, it’s cold it’s nasty and it’s against the law for people other than media, and essential services. That means that if there is one thing people need, it’s diversion.

Well your wish is my command so tomorrow on DaTechguy on DaRadio we’ll have some fun.

We’ll spend most of our first hour talking to Lee Stranahan about the Steubenville rape case. If what you know is what the MSM has told you then everything you know about that case is wrong.

In our second Hour Michael Graham will join us for to talk a bit about his own syndicated show that will start on Monday but he’ll also have time to tease the Mass GOP for acting like…the Mass. GOP.

In between we’ll tease Senator Menendez, Joe Scarborough and the MSM a bit, because what’s life without whimsy.

So be with us as tomorrow Noon to 2 PM EST and give us a call at 888-9-FEDORA to put your two cents in.

To hear us tune into AM 1390 Plymouth, WBNW 1120 Concord or 970 WESO in Southbridge to find me on your dial, or simply pick up the feed from here the Money Matter Radio Network.
