One of the most interesting things about the rise of the tea party movement was just how much it took the left and the MSM by surprise.
When the movement exploded across the country they were dumbfounded. They tried to explain them away, laugh them off, pretend they were dangerous and finally promote alternate movements to try to drown them out.
Why didn’t they see the Tea Party for what it was?
It’s quite simple. The media, so confined to the Washington/NYC centers and so used to promoting the left’s paid astroturf movements couldn’t comprehend an actual grass-roots movement of regular Americans because they don’t know or understand average Americans.
Sarah Palin does. She knows the tea party members don’t have to be paid to show up.
Media Propaganda not withstanding when you go to the small tea parties events all over the country you won’t find a bunch of Koch money, in fact you will see very little money period. What you will find are a lot of regular people trying to make a difference.
And as Sarah Palin knows and reminds this audience, it is those small gatherings and the people who got involved on local and state campaigns which come from them, that are going to be critical in 2014 and will still be there long after the media continues to pronounce the tea party dead.
It’s Monday and with 8 days left to the month I am over $800 short of the Mortgage that’s due in a week.
That’s why you don’t see the weekly goal this morning, because if I make that goal I’ll still be nearly $700 shy to pay the bills this month.
We had a good start yesterday but I still need a minimum of four $25 tip jar hitters every day for the next nine days simply to come up a mere $100 short.
It is still possible to make our goal but only you help. If there was ever a time for you to kick in if you were thinking of it, it’s now.
So I’m asking you to hit DaTipJar below if you possibly can.
With 61 more $20 a month subscribers this site will be able to cover its bills for a full year.
