Yesterday morning Twin City Tea Party President Justin Brooks sent out an e-mail announcing a candlelight vigil in honor of the troops who had died in the wars since September 11th. When I got there I took a few pictures:

There was over 70 people in attendance which was very impressive for an event with no planning and only announced less that 12 hours before it started.

After the invocation members of Leominster’s Gold Star family spoke, then individual people gave their thoughts. The Mayor closed out the evening.

A serving soldier game me some of his time at the end:

There ceremony was solemn and respectful, it hit the exact right tone. To anyone who has only the left’s perception of the tea party it would be a revelation.
