The party is already in bad shape. If we show people we’re a bunch of thieves, it will destroy us. In the name of party unity, please drop this fight.

Paul Dever 1948 to Tip O’Neill after stealing a party primary from him

Then perhaps they wouldn’t have to worry about this:

At the heart of this matter is a knowable fact: are the votes of the DSCC delegates that were cast and counted on Saturday, May 20 in the California Democratic Party elections accurate and valid?

To answer this question, the California Democratic Party will need to investigate the possibility that individuals who secured delegate badges were not, in fact, those actual delegates. Additionally, the CDP will need to determine why ineligible individuals were awarded delegate badges as proxies and were not

screened out. The CDP will also need to explain why financial eligibility is not clearly marked on credentialing materials. Finally, the CDP will have to answer how multiple individuals were able to obtain multiple ballots and vote more than once.

This is what we’re getting Kimberly Ellis a San Francisco activist concerning her run for state chair against Eric C. Bauman as the NYT reports

The party is expected to issue a final ruling on Ms. Ellis’s allegations by Aug. 20; in an interview, she said she would go to court if the party ruled against her. This has left Mr. Bauman, who encountered a barrage of shouts of “not my chairman” when he delivered his victory speech, struggling to put behind him a contest that has been the subject of recounts even as he seeks to position Democrats for a challenging congressional election in 2018.

The irony of the same Democrat activists who have insisted for years that voter ID is racism and that voter fraud is a myth are going whole hog into this fight is delightful, but what’s really interesting is the contrast to 1948 when James Michael Curly and his machine stole a delegate election from Tip O’Neill and figured (correctly) that O’Neill would in the end drop his contesting of the election because such a revelation would have destroyed the Democrat party in Massachusetts at a time when the party had never held a majority in the Massachusetts House of Representatives.

That willingness to hide corruption paid off.  Other than a brief period from 1953-1954 the Democrats had had the majority in the state ever since from that point on Tip O’Neill’s was set on a path that would lead him to the Speakership of the House of Representatives.

Of course California circa 2017 is not Massachusetts circa 1948 and I seriously doubt that a A black woman who supports Bernie Sanders with a campaign slogan “Unbought and Unbossed” is going to left the party steal an election ( assuming they actually did ). With the Democrats supermajority in the state and current demographics  I doubt even being exposed as a bunch of thieves can cost them the Majority in California.

But we can still hope can’t we?

A quick Layoff bleg update. Yesterday was the scheduled end to my layoff bleg and I’m sorry to say we didn’t manage half of the goal I had set although we did manage to raise enough to get me a paycheck this week and next week. This will make August a very lean month.

So if you are inclined and at all able I would ask you to hit DaTipJar at this time even if we don’t make the goal another $315 will mean a full paycheck for August 25th.

Update: At the last minute a tip jar hit brought us to $1365 (not counting paypal fees of course) that makes us only 2 $15 tipjar hits away from that Aug 25th paycheck and just 12 $100 tipjar hits from making the entire goal and guaranteeing me a paycheck till the day Stacy McCain Makes his speech in Leominster MA Sept 9th.

Please consider getting us to that point.

Last week a person on Gab asked me to: “explain how to journalism” I replied with seven points

1. Write the truth as you see it
2. Don’t be afraid to admit a screw up.
3. Say what you think, let the other guy do so too.
4. Never edit an interview dishonestly.
5. Don’t get angry over critique
6. remember being wrong isn’t the same as being evil
7. be open about your biases

I think that hold up pretty well, and I’d add one thing for the sake of CNN’s Anderson Cooper who just spent the last hour saying there’s no evidence of any voter fraud in NH.

8. Remember Choosing not to cover a story doesn’t make it not exist.

That’s important because while CNN and the left totally ignored voter fraud stories out of NH, Granite Grok the premiere political blog of the state was on the job

Here is my favorite of the batch:

Well, she’s got another opportunity for fame and misfortune. Elected house Democrat and Fiance Committee and party leader Cindy Rosenwald has the additional distinction of having allowed someone who is currently a regional field director for Virginia candidate for Governor Terry McAuliffe to register to vote from her home in Nashua last November.

Skip broke the story last night on the Grok. He nick-named Rosenwald’s 101 Wellington Street in Nashua home “The Rosenwald Rest Home for Wayward Voters.” I was thinking more along the lines of the “Rosenwald’s Vote Fraud Redoubt”, or “Cindy’s Nashua ballot Box Buffet- “Everyone leaves stuffed.”

I’m sure CNN has an intern or two who could go through those stories and maybe interview some of the groksters, but of course that wouldn’t be good for the narrative would it?

Incidentally I wrote about this back in 2013, where was CNN then?

Howard: Well, where are you going?
Sheldon: Where are you going?
Raj: We just told you.
Sheldon: I just told you.
Howard: No, you didn’t.
Sheldon: Well, it’s your word against mine; see you in court.

The Big Bang Theory: The 43 Peculiarity< /em> 2012

If you turned on the MSM yesterday the only story that apparently exists is the assertion by the president that Hillary Clinton’s popular vote margin was due to millions of illegal aliens voting.

As you might guess the entire MSM is up in arms we’re talking full hysteria mode:

I’m sure these upstanding media folk are thinking (for the upteenth billion time) that they’ve finally got Trump and now they’ll be able to bring him down.

But what they don’t realize is that they’ve fallen into his trap once again.

First of all he’s gotten the MSM to bring up this subject meaning that many people who didn’t entertain the possibility of illegal voting will now start entertaining it.

Second of all in the same week that the MSM which has a 14% approval rating was caught falsely claiming that Trump removed a bust of Martin Luther King from the oval office you have them asserting that this claim is isn’t true, or “debunked”. Given the level of trust that the MSM has with the public that very assertion that Trump is lying, made by them at a point where their credibility and popularity are dwarfed by Trump will trend to make people believe it.

But this is all preliminary, the real snare is this.

There is one sure way to definitely debunk President Trump’s claim, and that’s to examine the voting in blue enclaves that overwhelmingly voted Hillary, areas that for the most part unexpectedly don’t have voter ID laws in place, and do some good old fashioned investigative reporting.

And this is the trap being laid.

I strongly suspect that said enclaves can not stand the scrutiny that such an investigation would bring. Thus if any press organization decides to launch one, even if ostensibly to debunk claims of voter fraud, they are likely to get a lot of pushback in said Democrat enclaves. Will by their very nature reinforce the idea that the Democrats are hiding something.

And even worse what if such fraud is found? How will the MSM play it? “Trump was lying about 3,000,000 illegal aliens voting, we only found evidence of 100,000 to 500,000 nationwide” Yeah that’s going to bring him down.

If it is suggested to the MSM that they should consider such an investigation they will likely answer: The burden of proof is not on us. Yeah THAT’S going to really play well with a population that doesn’t trust them.

Of course the ultimate trap would be for the president to bluntly say that if states like California wish to ally my fears they can simply pass and enforce voter ID laws to assure the integrity of the vote.

I wonder how the MSM will react to that?

UPDATE: How do define a sucker in three steps

Ana Navarro after Trump’s remarks:

So what does Trump do? He orders an investigation!

President Donald Trump called on Wednesday for “a major investigation” into voter fraud, following through with baseless claims he has made since November’s election alleging millions of illegal votes during the general election without citing any evidence.

“I will be asking for a major investigation into VOTER FRAUD, including those registered to vote in two states, those who are illegal and … even, those registered to vote who are dead (and many for a long time). Depending on results, we will strengthen up voting procedures!” Trump wrote in two consecutive tweets.

Today Vox is one again playing the voter suppression card:

Why voting in 2016 could be nearly impossible for some Americans

Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin, Tennessee, and North Dakota have all implemented strict voter ID laws since the last time Americans picked a president in 2012. And this could leave millions of would-be voters unable to cast a ballot.

Alas poor Vox, they seem to forget that some of the states on their list have already voted so lets take a look

In Texas one of the states listed as having these laws if we look at turnout in 2008 to 2016 (I use 2008 vs 2012 because of contested primaries in both parties) it’s pretty much a wash. 4,265,431 cast ballots in the primaries this year while in 2008 Dems & GOP drew 4,237,308 a tiny increase but certainly not a drop

Meanwhile in Virginia the number of votes went UP from 1.44 million to 1.79 mil (780K dems 1.019 mil gop) an increase of over 20%.

According to Vox this can’t be. Might it be that the cries of voter disenfranchisement is a bunch of bull?

Or put another way, I’ll believe requiring ID is discrimination when in our litigious society, banks and supermarkets are sued en masse for requiring them.

Closing thought: If this voter ID discrimination was actually legit given the Democrats well known patronage of the poor surely a portion of the hundreds of millions raised by the party and by Hillary could be used to help said poor acquire these free IDs? In fact as such expenditures could be done at the Party or even the super pac level our Democrat friends with the help of the Hollywood elite would easily be able to cover the minor transportation expenses involved and perhaps even a stipend to make up for a day’s lost work, of course as an ID is required to be hired at almost any job to fill out a W2, a person working by definition would already have an ID wouldn’t they?

I think that’s a great question, wouldn’t you like an answer?

On Tuesday I reported James O’Keefe promised to return to NH to expose voter fraud in NH again.

Apparently Granite Grok decided they didn’t want to wait till then:

State Sen. Martha Fuller Clark, D-District 21, has eight people registered to vote under her single-family address in Portsmouth. Several of them came to New Hampshire to work on campaigns for various periods of time and voted in elections before moving on.

When asked about the legitimacy of their domicile status, Clark said:

“By and large, the young people who stayed with me were committed to New Hampshire, but given their age, whether they intended to stay is impossible to predict.”

In fact Granite Grok is all over this story.

The New Hampshire State Board of Education’s newest member is Emma Rous from Durham. There are four voters hailing from 50 Adams Point Road in Durham, where Emma lives; Emma Rous, Walter Rous (Emma’s husband), Nahanni Rous (Emma’s 38 year old married daughter), and Ben Rous (Emma’s 38 year old married son).

Funny, how these twins never moved out. Common in cases of voter fraud.

and even more funny are the connections involved with some of these guys

Sidley Austin Brown & Wood…isn’t that where Barack Obama was a Summer Associate at the Chicago Office? It’s where the current President met his wife Michelle, who was then an assistant associate. So Nahanni’s father in law has strong connections to Presidential politics and the Democrat party…going all the way back to Jimmy Carter; and strong connections to the President for whom Nahanni and her brother probably voted in November, not from their own Homes where they and their spouses live, but from Durham, New Hampshire, where they do not live.

So, are these also “young people” who were committed to New Hampshire whose staying was impossible to predict or Democrats whose mother is active in the Democrat state party, was an elected member of the NH House, who sat on the State school board, who knew their vote would matter in a swing state, and who–along with others–encouraged them to come here and vote here?

The latter, of course.

And it was mentioned when I interviewed three NH state reps yesterday…

at O’Keefe’s final appearance in the Granite state where after prospective congressional candidate Ryan introduced him

He spoke of voter fraud again

I seem to keep hearing more and more stories along these lines concerning 2012.

No wonder the left react to O’Keefe like this:

I have the feeling that only after the Obama’s are out of the white House many will be shocked at what was done to keep him there.

I won’t be.

Friday and a Full paycheck is only $80 dollars and 4 $20 tip jar hitters away.

Can it be done, should it be done? That’s up to you

.

Today is election day is Wisconsin and we have a great example of the law of cause and effect.

Cause:

Democrats in Wisconsin are busing in supporters from Minnesota today for the recall vote against Governor Scott Walker.

On Twitter Democrats say they are driving in from across America.

Effect:

Madison City Clerk: Turnout Is On Pace To Reach 119%

Gee how could this be possible, perhaps a trip down memory lane would help explain it:

Last year, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker signed voter ID legislation, which naturally resulted in a lawsuit being filed.

On Tuesday, Dane County Judge David Flanagan issued a temporary injunction against the implementation of the law.

Here’s something the Judge failed to disclose:

Nearly four months before he signed off on the poorly edited order granting a temporary injunction against Wisconsin’s new voter identification law, Dane County Circuit Judge David Flanagan scribbled his name on another important legal document:

A petition urging the recall of Republican Gov. Scott Walker.

Glenn Reynolds comments:

I’m sure the Justice Department, which is “monitoring” the election, will investigate these claims with characteristic diligence.

Here is the transcript of the call detailing what is happening

Hey a party willing to harass the family of a black political activist to keep him quiet is certainly not going to be afraid of this kind of stuff.

Update: More from Pundit press including this interesting account:

Third, and more horrifying, comes this account from the website Free Republic. A voter went in to cast their ballot, yet was faced with a 25 minute wait. After looking around, this person found out that the hold up was due to “non-medical personnel” demanding that elderly people vote for Tom Barrett. The “helpers” were screaming the f-word at the folks and telling them to defecate on themselves. Eventually, they realized that they were being listened to and chased off the voter. But that was after physically threatening them and breaking their phone.

and Ejecting election observers Madison

after call can’t have them asking questions about that 120%

Update 2: MSNBC calls it at 9:50 or so for Walker, Schultz is still in denial but for some reason they won’t call the Lt. Gov race with the GOP candidate leading by over 100k votes with 22& reporting

…from the first congressman outside Illinois to endorse Barack Obama (emphasis mine):

Voting the names of the dead, and the nonexistent, and the too-mentally-impaired to function, cancels out the votes of citizens who are exercising their rights — that’s suppression by any light. If you doubt it exists, I don’t; I’ve heard the peddlers of these ballots brag about it, I’ve been asked to provide the funds for it, and I am confident it has changed at least a few close local election results.

In other words a former Democratic congressman is publicly declaring that he was not only personally of those who committed voter fraud, but was directly asked to participate and fund it.

Via Glenn. Breitbart is going to have a field day with this and I’m sure a republican congress will not ignore it.

Over to you Media Matters. (I suggest a liberal use of the word “disgruntled”)

This is an emergency! Control must be believed and obeyed! No-one in the colony believes in Macra! There is no such thing as Macra! Macra do not exist! There are no Macra! Dr. Who the Macra Terror 1967.

I couldn’t help but think of that lost episode when I read this from Ann Althouse response to this wild screach by Richard Hasen:

See, that’s the meme among Democrats. There is no fraud. You’re not even supposed to talk about “[t]he possibility of some fraud” — which was the phrase I used in my 11:55 p.m. post on election night. Note that I wasn’t even making an accusation. I was just trying to sign off and go to bed. Let the day’s own trouble be sufficient for the day. But the mere mention of fraud triggers the reaction: Don’t talk about fraud! Fraud?! There is no fraud! Everybody knows there is no fraud, and anybody who mentions it is, by that mere mention, an agent of discord and deceit. This is an effort to delegitimatize the very interest in the problem of fraud. I expect a label to emerge, a label like “birther.” Ugh! She’s a frauder.

The left does seem to act like Doctor Who Villains lately don’t they.

Since this morning when I first posted on this subject we’ve seen much more

Madison and Milwaukee conservative radio show host Vicki McKenna aired several concerns during her Wednesday show. She told TheDC she spent almost her entire two-hour show taking audience calls, in which listeners detailed what may be considered full-blown voter fraud.

One caller, McKenna said, talked about a “missing box of ballots,” a voter overheard poll workers talking about. On air, McKenna said the ballot box could have contained blank ballots or it could have been filled with Wisconsin voters’ completed ballot. Either possibility presents a dilemma, though, as blank ballots in the hands of the wrong people could be used to illegally influence counts after the election.

Ed Morrissey is suggesting caution:

Having been a radio show host for several years in the Twin City through four elections, I can attest that not every allegation made on the air is the absolute sterling truth. That doesn’t mean they’re all false, either, and Wisconsin has a recent history of voter fraud that certainly serves to reduce the trust in the system there. Talk radio can help focus a spotlight on fraud, but it can also provide a lot of red herrings, too. Wisconsin voters should demand transparency, but also should not jump to conclusions before assuming the entire election was stolen.

I like Ed a lot but the problem with this advice is if we are cautious while the left falsely states these claims are “discredited” we lose the fight before it even starts.

Update: I’m with Steve Foley at the Minority Report:

But even in the face of all this liberals are claiming victory and trying to ridicule (as is their go-to tactic) anyone for even mentioning voter fraud. In fact, a commenter named Murry, replied to my Opinion Journal video post saying:

Oh spare me the “voter fraud” meme.

As if we should just shut up and move along. According to Murry somehow mounting evidence, facts, and abiding by the law have no place in this debate and we rubes should just accept the fact that special interest groups stole this election and quite complaining.

I’m sure folks like Murry would love it if we did just that…

Newsflash — we’re not going anywhere and the fight has just begun!

Update 2: Now Prosser is up by 40. Expect the left to suddenly find an interest in vote fraud.

Shades of the Durant election (Worcester 6th) in Wisconsin:

BREAKING VOTER FRAUD: Poll workers conducting registration on election day, voting, then registering again to vote. High school students registering other high school students under 18. When complained, the poll worker said mind your own business.

You might remember yesterday I said this about the precincts not reporting:

Two of them in Milwaukee and 8 in Salk. In my opinion (and likely the opinion of most of the right) at this moment people are counting how many votes Kloppenburg needs to win and deciding how to report their figures so the numbers will look credible.

It is a painful thing for Wisconsin that I am saying this, but it’s more painful that the state has reached the point where I suspect everyone is actually thinking this.

Lo and Behold in Milwaukee:

As Vicki McKenna was saying earlier, I find it interesting/troubling that 100% of Milwaukee County was reported on for the Stone/Abele numbers, but not for the Prosser/Kloppenberg numbers. What the heck is the problem?? She had some interesting callers this morning that make you sit and go “HMMMMM!”

And don’t worry the Police have your back when it comes to preventing Voter Fraud right?:

Two witnesses confirmed that a Police Officer who reported to address the incident apparently refused to deal with the protesters initially. Jessica Schmidt, Grafton Town Clerk, and another witness heard the officer say, “I used to be a conservative but I’m not anymore.” Apparently, this behavior was a result of the recent debate over union rights that has consumed Wisconsin. The officer then walked outside and without addressing the issues presented by the protesters and refused to do his job, allowing the intimidation to continue. The officer’s behavior was apparently upsetting enough that an elderly poll worker was shaking immediately following the incident and needed to be calmed down by a nurse that was present at the polling place.

That members of the Wisconsin police have thrown away the biggest difference between America and third world dictatorships over this issue is disgraceful.

And now lets follow-up with shredding ballots:

For some reason one of the counties in the state is destroying ballots that ‘were not counted’ yesterday. Apparently this is a very bizarre and egregious move.

After all we can’t have a recount determining that these were in fact valid votes can we?
Talk show host Mark Belling is trying to act:

I have filed a Wisconsin Open records request with the City of Mequon demanding any ballot submitted but not cast in yesterday’s election, including any remnant of a shredded ballot. We have received reports Mequon poll workers destroyed submitted ballots before poll closing time, demanding a driver’s license number from the absentee voter. This request is unusual and the destruction of ballots is of grave concern, given the closeness of the state Supreme Court election. I will consider seeking an injuction to back up my request if Mequon officials are not copperative.

Within the margin of fraud indeed!

This is it for Wisconsin, if the voters of this state allow this without protest then frankly they deserve exactly what they get and I’m disappointed in Stacy for not being in more of a fighting mood.

According to this fellow something that he accuses of Durant doing 10 years ago (that has no basis in reality) proves that Durant is trying to steal an election that he has been ahead of in every single count. This is even though in every city where Mr. Durant won, the recounts were held in a professional manner and matched exactly to the counts of election night.

Meanwhile in Southbridge you had a ballot boxes cracked open, one box not tied, no controls on the people in the area of the recounts and (by an odd coincidence) you have two extra votes for the democratic candidate (recall that the initial reported lead for Durant’s was 2 votes) and the town clerk happens to be the cousin of the democratic candidate. Yet this gentleman sees nothing odd here.

Let’s remind this gentleman that the judge who heard this case a decade ago took all of five minutes to decide that arguments of the lawyers opposing Durant had all the credibility of the candidacy Alvin Greene of South Carolina.

However who needs that when you have this:

Keep in mind Howard Potash told me that over 200 dead voters voted in the Great Recall Election

Tell me did Mr. Potash tell him that the Moon is populated by Mice with spiked haircuts? I suspect if he did this gentleman would believe him since apparently the arguments made before a judge in a court of law can’t compare to hearsay told to a blogger by a lawyer in a losing case not under oath.

Ya gotta love the left, they are never more fun than when they are in panic.
