The Two Frightening post election questions if Hillary Wins

King Alphonso: Rodrigo of Vivar…called the Cid…why do you alone refuse me fealty?
El Cid: Sire…all those you see here…though none dares say so…harbor the suspicion that you may have counseled your own brother’s death. Unless you can prove your innocence…you will have no loyal subjects.
Your kingdom will be torn by doubt. Thus I cannot give you fealty…nor own you as my liege.

Sycorax Leader: Surrender or they will die.

Doctor Who The Christmas Invasion 2005

As I mentioned yesterday yet another project veritas video, this one actually linking Mrs. Clinton to a violation of election law is being ignored or downplayed by the MSM while the revelation from Wikileaks that the president lied through his teeth concerning Hillary emails and Team Obama plus team Hillary conspired to “clean it up” likewise is not turning any heads.

It’s becoming rather apparent that the rule of law doesn’t doesn’t apply to Hillary Clinton and her team or anyone who can aid them in power, nor does the press care if they violate law even to the point of arranging political violence if it will elect democrats.

As the reverse is not true for conservative republicans this leads to a pair of rather horrible questions that I hesitate to ask but need to be expressed out loud. The first is for Conservatives and it’s a variation of the question Harriet Jones asks the Sycorax in Doctor Who:

If a Clinton presidency becomes, as we suspect a time of persecution for Conservatives in general and Christians in particular where the rule of law and the hand of government is laid hard upon us, while the left is allowed to skate, how would submitting be better than resisting?

Depending on the answer to that first question there is a second question to our friends on the left, particularly in the media and government.

The MSM in general and Democrats in particular have explained away and excused violence from Black Lives matter and various leftist groups under the argument that they believe they are marginalized and not being treated equally under the law. In fact it has been suggested by some that said violence is justified.

That being the case will we see the same reaction from said media if the political right, believing that they are not treated equally under the law, that they are persecuted for their political and religious belief, decide to resist? Will we see their resistance excused, explained and justified by those who defended political violence by the left?

I strongly suggest the media and powers that it will not. They will be shocked and stunned particularly if they are, as I suspect the primary targets of any such resistance, but to paraphrase what Glenn Reynolds has said for years may they and their fellow elites find joy in the incentive system they have created.

I suspect the next few years will have horrible results if Mrs. Clinton wins and does not have a Prince Hal or a Prince Rodrigo swearing before El Cid moment and I suspect it will take many prayers to prevent the future I see coming.

Starting next week I will start praying an extra Divine Mercy Chaplet daily requesting God mercy on our country. I invite you to join me in this as I strongly suspect we will be needing it.

Update: For those who doubt that these questions are needed Exhibit a: Anti-Trump Violence Sweeps the Nation

Meanwhile, most physical attacks on Trump supporters make only local news outlets — if that. Rarely do such assaults get mentioned on the evening TV broadcast news or in The New York Times or The Washington Post. That’s because they don’t fit the leftist narrative that Republicans are violent, racist, Islamophobic homophobes.

Despite a lack of evidence, the Left deployed the same false narrative against the Tea Party movement virtually from its formation, while defending the criminal hooligans of Black Lives Matter and Occupy Wall Street as nonviolent and benign.

Exhibit B: via Steven Green at Insty: Richard Nixon could only wish he got Hillary’s FBI treatment

Most dramatically, Attorney General Elliot Richardson and his deputy, William Ruckelshaus, resigned rather than follow Nixon’s order to fire special prosecutor Archibald Cox in the Saturday Night Massacre. And Nixon himself resigned when even fellow Republicans signaled they were prepared to impeach and convict him.

One result is that, while “Nixonian” is a synonym for illegal abuse of authority, his resignation and the smooth transfer of power marked a ringing triumph of justice. The fundamental principle that nobody in America is above the law was upheld in practice.

Now imagine another scenario. America wakes up on Nov. 9 to President-elect Hillary Clinton, and to the cold reality that the same principle of equal justice is null and void.

Her election would mean that some people are above the law. It would mean that one of them will assume the commanding heights of our country despite abundant evidence that she committed crimes and got away scot-free.

In fairness the Democrats as a party made the choice to sell their honor for power by not worrying about the rule of law and double standards first when Bill was impeached, this is just a repeat performance.

Exhibit C: also from insty Scott Adams on The Bully Party (and I don’t mean the Teddy Roosevelt expression either)

Team Clinton has succeeded in perpetuating one of the greatest evils I have seen in my lifetime. Her side has branded Trump supporters (40%+ of voters) as Nazis, sexists, homophobes, racists, and a few other fighting words. Their argument is built on confirmation bias and persuasion. But facts don’t matter because facts never matter in politics. What matters is that Clinton’s framing of Trump provides moral cover for any bullying behavior online or in person. No one can be a bad person for opposing Hitler, right?

Some Trump supporters online have suggested that people who intend to vote for Trump should wear their Trump hats on election day. That is a dangerous idea, and I strongly discourage it. There would be riots in the streets because we already know the bullies would attack. But on election day, inviting those attacks is an extra-dangerous idea. Violence is bad on any day, but on election day, Republicans are far more likely to unholster in an effort to protect their voting rights. Things will get wet fast.

I don’t think it’s going to take very long after the election for things to “get wet”
