How to Download and Install Avast Antivirus

To download the free version of the Avast product, locate the Free Download Antivirus button in the middle of the page. Once you click on it, you’ll be redirected to the download page. You won’t need to select the download file manually. The system will provide you with the required file once your OS is determined.

Wait for the download to complete.

Then, you’ll need to open the acquired file. To do it, double-click the .exe setup file. Follow the onscreen prompts to perform the installation of the new antivirus program. Click “Yes” when prompted, then click “Install.”

Select “Continue” once the installation is finished.

How to Use Avast

You can start using Avast immediately after installing. To open it, double-click on Avast icon on the desktop or locate and launch the application in the Start menu.
